Constraction reviews in Arlington, Texas

Attempted to have a back door installed. Staff is rude, seldom anwser phones, poorest customer service that I have ever experienced in my life. Threw in the towel and went elsewhere for my installation service.

I ordered very expensive quartz counter tops through this store. The signs in the store said "10 day install" and yet here I am a month later still without counters fully installed. When the installers showed up yesterday with the product not only were they not cut correctly but the also didn't have enough material. So now I'm looking at another week of waiting. The response from the kitchen design team has been underwhelming at best. They seem not to care about customer service and lack motivation to represent their brand well. If you're looking for countertops go anywhere else.

Paid them to install new flooring and upgrade a toilet, and they threw away my old toilet before telling me the new toilet couldn't fit and they don't have any push-button toilets that can fit. They expected me to buy a new toilet just like my old perfectly fine toilet they just threw away. They are inconsiderate and unprofessional, and I had to argue to get my installation fee returned, but they still charged me $75 for removing and throwing away my old toilet. Now I going to be without a toilet for at least two days. Probably longer.
I regret ever having any dealings with this store, so I will never go back to any Home Depot location. I will go to Lowes instead where maybe they actually care about their customers. -
We scheduled an appointment for a free quote on a bath remodel. The sales person came out and what sounded good at the time changed the next morning. We immediately cancelled by email and confirmed the cancellation by phone the very next morning. Here's the the problem. A deposit of $500 was required at the time and instead of returning the check, three weeks later Home Depot cashed the check. We disputed with our bank, and Home Depot refunded the money back to the bank. The next problem. Home Depot agreed that the check should not have been cashed. However, I'm receiving letters from TRW about a $500 bounced check. I've called home Depot, no help. I've called TRW and still no resolution other than the they want me to gather and prove and work for them. Do they really care about the customer? One quick email or phone call within Home Depot would resolve this dilemma. BTW, I remodeled with another company and my bathroom is beautiful. ISNT IT CONSIDERED FRAUD TO CASH A CHECK THAT WAS AGREED UPON BY BOTH PARTIES AS CANCELLED?

IES showed up the next day and the customer service from the previous day was excellent. Unfortunately I called when the cut off time for sending out a technician same day had passed

I use them for the warranty services on my new construction home for anything electrical. They have a 2 year warranty and are always responsive, listen to the concerns and go the extra mile.

No personal experience with this place but one guy that drives a white Chevy truck hauls a** down 820 trying to run me off the road and bright lights me then flips me off when I don’t move out of his way. Not the first time either. He’s done this on more than one occasion. Uses turn lane on Kennedale parkway to pass vehicles when they’re in his way. If this is the way he is to people driving down the road I damn sure wouldn’t allow him to do any work for me. Hey dude why don’t you learn to leave your house earlier instead of trying to run people off the road and give them the finger

Used for warranty service, the guys that came were always great. Took a bit of nagging to get a GFCI dryer breaker which is current code, but eventually it was done. The tech helped make sure the dryer worked after.

The company is very unprofessional and have rude customer service. They sent out a couple of guys to come fix a fusebox that they installed in the neighborhood. In so doing while they fixed a fusebox they took out my over wires and I couldn't use my oven for a month. I called their office and spoke to a rude representative talking about charging me for a mistake on their part. I called in a master electrician who confirmed my concern and told me this is a potential problem as it was a 220 volt left exposed, I called this company to express my concern regards the technician they sent in, all she could read was how I needed to pay $135 for them to come out. A problem created by their technicians and she kept reciting the same lines. Like how clueless can you be. In the end she accepted fault and apologized but in a sincerity please don't use this company for the safety of you and your family.. Electricity is not to be messed with.

I have a newly built home with a bad breaker tripping already!!!! I have just passed my 2-year warranty and now I am having problems because of the cheap parts this company decides to use! I have sold many homes before that have never had a problem this early on! I don't mind paying for the service call but to pay $50 for each breaker! These are cheap parts they use! I have many respectable electricians to use BUT I went with IES because they installed the electricity and they should account for the products they use not to the consumer! Hopefully, someone reads my review and changes their decision to use your company.

We have a new build and just got our washer and dryer and found out the dryer outlet is wired wrong. A day later our hot water runs out and had to plumbers say is was because of the electrical issues and the wiring to the breaker is also messed up. I have called and called and it’s been since Monday we don’t have hot water. I’m getting no response not even the emergency line . Ridiculous!

I used I.E.S under warranty. Steven was very attentive and polite. Not only did he fix my breaker, he addressed all my other questions and concerns. He was very knowledgeable and a true professional. I’m extremely satisfied with my repair and his exceptional customer service.

If I could give something less then a 1 star I would this is the worst company doing electrical work out here in dfw. It's a disgrace to say they do electrical work. I live in a lennar home these guys built and have upgraded fixures and keep finding cut corners no j-boxs very poor wire joints. These guys are a joke.
