I was searching for a lawn service, which can be a challenge. I had a few people come out and give me quotes however most seemed not interested or it felt like they were making the job bigger than it was. Empire came out and the person mowed my yard and was very friendly. They were the most professional people I spoke with and the service was more than timely!! I would recommend this company if you are looking for a new, dependable lawn service.

We've been with Empire since last April. They always show up on the scheduled day and do a fantastic job every time. Recently we needed some landscaping done on my backyard so I emailed Liz to see how much it would be. She and Tony came out to survey the yard and take pictures and within a few days she sent me a quote. The crew came out on a Sunday and after 6 hours it was done! They did what they said they would do and then some. My wife and I are quite pleased! Highly recommend Empire Lawn Care!

They came out the same day I called to give me a quote—which by the way is reasonable/affordable. They are also very friendly, professional and courteous. Empire has been taking care of our lawn for almost a year. I highly recommend their services. The owners are quick to respond and the crew is very professional. We have a pool and they are extremely careful, there is hardly ever any grass clippings to clean up. Remember that you get what you pay for, and in my opinion, they are worth it!

I’ve used Empire Lawn Care since we moved into our new home. Always impressed with the timeliness and cut quality from the guys that usually do my lawn.

Today, I was extra impressed as we recently purchased a large trampoline. I was fully okay with the team mowing around it, and I would move it biweekly to accommodate the mowing… instead they took the extra time to drag the trampoline a few feet mow under it.

Empire came in half through the year and helped take care of our lawn when my elderly father no longer could due to medical issues. They not only got us on the schedule quickly but from then on it was guaranteed to be cared for which allowed our family to focus on helping him recover and he was not worried about it either . They have my business this year and the ones to come !!!

Oh my gosh! Tony is awesome! There are no service his crew cannot undertake. Took care of my gutter cleaning for great price and beat the competitions! He tackle big jobs and small and is now my go to person for all maintenance, fix and installation. Is a reliable and trustworthy person. Will recommend him to family and friends for all project! A++!

Empire Lawncare done a first class job of weeding my flowerbeds, mulching and trimming shrubs. The mowing looks great. Glad I hired them.

Two weeks ago we hired Steve's Landscape and Irrigation to make a large flowerbed. We asked that the grass be removed, add in compost and place edging around the bed. That afternoon we started to plant our shrubs and noticed the grass had only been tilled and that the grass and roots were still there. In some places the compost was merely covering sod that hadn't been tilled.

When I asked Steve why they didn't remove the roots, he said that he usually sprayed the grass with Roundup, but that I wanted to plant by the end of November. I told him that I wouldn't ever let him spray my property with chemicals because I'm an organic gardener. He replied that it was actually good for the soil once the grass decomposed.

In fairness, he did offer to come back and pull out "some" areas of where the grass was coming up, but that if I wanted him to dig all of it out in the bed that would be another bid. He said he didn't bid digging out the grass because it would have been too expensive. He should have qualified what we meant by grass removal.
The men were very nice that did the job, but they were probably going on Steve's instruction. We've had other flowerbeds made in the past. They dug the grass out.

The grass resprouted and today I spent four hours digging out grass and roots. When I complained again and asked for a partial refund I was ignored. My husband then texted him and received a reply about how we should have let him spray it. He never mentioned spraying (which we wouldn't have done) until I complained.

Steve came highly recommended for sprinkler repair, so we called for assistance and couldn't be more pleased. Super impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and integrity - the repairs were made quickly, and when a wire shorted out later he came back to fix at no charge (and with zero hassle). Great guy that provides great service for reasonable prices, we won't go anywhere else...

This company left a flyer in my door and COMPLETELY ignored the “no solicitors” sign right above where they left it. Why would I hire a company that has ZERO attention to detail.

This is the kind of business you are? These are the people you hire? I would hate to see how my lawn would look when you can’t even read a simple sign and follow basic instructions. Hard pass!

They did a wonderful job on some bedders on each side of our sidewalk in our front yard. It looks fantastic and Steve’s suggestions were great! I will definitely use them again. Our neighbors love the work!

Steve's crew replaced our backyard fence and did an excellent job! They installed new metal posts to replace the wood ones. They completed everything in two days and were respectful of our property and that of our neighbors. They returned another day to stain the fence.
