Constraction reviews in Austin, Texas

Blaine did a fantastic job on our limestone floors. The process actually took less time than I expected. The best part to me, aside from my floors looking new again, is the sealing. Now, when coffee or red wine is spilled on the floor, I simply wipe with a damp cloth and there is no staining of the stone.
I highly recommend Gold Standard Floor Care 👍🏼

Excellent! We had our entire home floor porcelain tiles and grout cleaned through Blain. He provides honest and professional feedback for what is needed and I would rate him 5 of 5. He did a fantastic job with our home and I would high recommend this company. Our floor tiles are looking like new again. He backs up the name of his company through his service and tts truly Gold Standard.

Blain has been cleaning and sealing our stone for a decade. He's one of the easiest contractors to have in your home; he always goes to great lengths to protect floors, doors, etc.. He's prompt, affordable, and always does great work. Highly recommended!

Blain and Gold Standard have been helping to keep our travertine floors in shape for 6 years. If you know travertine, there can be occasional holes and cracks that develop with use. Plus, they need a refresh with cleaning and sealer on occasion. Blain delivers and is always professional, methodical, and clean. He always protects our cabinets and leaves the area spotless. He has also helped us a couple of times when we had to replace tiles from plumbing work and a kitchen remodel. He was able to hone them to match the original floors.

Blain provided exceptional service and performed excellent work on removing a heavy polymer haze along with some sticky substances on the surface of my tile. The first tile cleaning company came out, promised to get it clean and failed. This was residue left from the installation. They are now returned to original. I will only use Gold Standard for all my tile cleaning needs. I will highly recommend Blain to everyone.

Gold Standard did an excellent job polishing up our countertops. Not only was all the etching removed, but Blain was extremely meticulous about taping/protecting our floors/cabinets while he worked. We will absolutely be using them again in the future!

Blain cleaned our kitchen floor tile and grout. I really thought that it was hopeless but when he was done it looked brand new! The price was very reasonable and he even went above and beyond by removing the old sticky wax. I highly recommend

Blain does the work himself and does a top quality job. Our marble tile entry looks like new after polishing. The ceramic tile grout in kitchen area also looks new with a new coat of grout color. Highly recommend.

We were pleased with the results and Blaine was able to restore our black grout and light grey tile back to its original color. It makes such an impact in the overall look of our home. Thank you!

Blain was fair, punctual, and finished in the time he estimated. AND he did a great job cleaning and resealing our stone floor and shower.

Blain gave my client's flooring new life. After 2 years of construction, my client's tile (in many different locations) needed a lot of TLC - Blain knew exactly what each tile and stone material needed, how to tackle each room, and left the house with them sparkling like new. He was kind, professional, prompt and flexible. I would use him again!

We have used Gold Standard Floor Care for the care, cleaning and maintenance of all our stone, tile and grout for many years and highly recommend this company. Owner/operator Blain Haeg is knowledgeable, professional, prompt, reliable, reasonably priced and keeps our home looking beautiful. No need to look any further! Go for the Gold Standard!

Great experience with this company! Blaine gave us the best quote over three estimates for cleaning our tile and staining the grout. He was the only contractor willing to move the appliances and furniture. Floors look like new now.

Blain did a GREAT job...from beginning to end. Everything from setting our expectations appropriately when he walked us through what he would/could do...to the actual work he did...to his communications throughout was excellent...and our floors, grout and shower look MUCH better now. HIGHLY recommend Blain and his business!!

Blain was great to work with and he was able to clean our stubborn mold from our shower tile and rejuvenate our granite kitchen counter tops. He was extremely professional and the bill was exactly what he quoted. I highly recommend him and already have recommended him to my friends.

We didn't realize the value of our beautiful travertine floors until I did some research. They were in need of some love and had not been cleaned appropriately for years. They had lost their sheen and had many chips throughout. Blain was kind, straightforward, and very professional. Not too talkative, but also not impersonal. He did what he said he would do and arrived on time. He communicated superbly through text and email. When I called, he picked up. The floors look amazing. The pictures do not adequately show the difference and we had an entire kitchen and large master bathroom done. These show only the hallway. The floors actually lightened which is what I wanted. The price was fair and way less expensive than replacing the floors with a cheaper modern tile.

Blain at Gold Standard did an amazing job on our marble kitchen countertop. We had a huge acid stain from fruit juice sitting on it for a whole week while we were on vacation. Blain was able to get it completely out! And the rest of the counter restoration looks so good. He was prompt, thorough, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Blain and Gold Standard.

Blain did an amazing job on our tile floors and grout. Would highly recommend him. Pleasant and professional. Great work ethic. Fair price. Our floors look new!

Blain Haig with Gold Standard Floor Care is an exceptionally talented professional, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He meticulously colored, grouted, and sealed my new home before move-in, delivering work of the absolute highest quality. Since then, he has continued to impress me with his generosity of knowledge—always taking the time to provide thoughtful advice whenever I call.

Most recently, I faced a tile emergency caused by a vent malfunction. While the contractor’s warranty team was unable to resolve the issue, Blain stepped in immediately and handled the problem with efficiency and expertise. His responsiveness, skill, and dedication truly set him apart.

Blain is the rare kind of professional who combines craftsmanship, reliability, and genuine care for his clients. You will not be disappointed—he is simply the best.

We hired Gold Standard Floor Care for our countertops and tile flooring after consulting with two other vendors.

Blain is outstanding and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions, took measurements, and explained the process.

When the grout sealer left cloudy spots, Blain came back and applied a color seal on the entire floor at no extra charge. He’s definitely my go-to for any future countertop and tile floor service.

Awesome Experience with Bathroom Remodel – After 10 years of thinking and talking about remodeling out 80s style master bathroom, we finally made the move and asked friends who they would recommend. Several told us about New Creations and we contacted Roy Faust and his team. From the very beginning, they listened to our needs, communicated flawlessly, and truly brought the whole team to reform our bathroom. New tub, sinks, granite counter, tile, paint, raising the ceiling, fixtures, lighting….so many decisions for us, but they delivered exactly what we asked for.

We couldn't be more thrilled with the finished product, that came in on budget and in less time that estimated. Troy who managed the project was professional, courteous, and on time every day. The crew that he brought was phenomenal, from start to finish the delivered, and cleaned up every step of the way.

We missed them when they were gone, but 5 stars to the crew and our whole experience with New Creations…we would do it all again!
