Like a new house – We recently completed a kitchen/first floor remodel. After talking to several companies we decided to go with New Creations and we are so thankful we made that decision. From the very beginning we clicked with the people at New Creations. Roy, Jeremy and Troy were nothing short of wonderful. They listened to what we wanted, made suggestions and offered alternatives to improve what we were trying to achieve and went out of their way to make sure we would be happy with the finished product when we were having a hard time making some crucial decisions. We wanted a kitchen that was functional and that was unique, not a carbon copy of a similar floor plan. We are really pleased with the end result. Honesty is a big thing for me when dealing with anyone. These guys and the crews they used were really up front. There were no surprises and no hidden costs. For the most part, time lines were met and the craftsmanship is excellent. The New Creation staff is young, energetic and out of the box thinkers. Most importantly they are honest and know what they are doing. Without a single reservation, I would recommend this company to anyone who is thinking of making home improvements.

Beautiful Craftsmanship – New Creations completed our extensive kitchen remodel. In addition to the typical kitchen remodel tasks, the entire existing space was demolished, gas lines and electricity were moved. We had a couple of walls changed to accommodate our Laundry room and pantry design. The result is beautiful with a great sense of craftsmanship.

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of our experience with New Creations is just how great everyone is to work with. Not only are they friendly and accommodating, never once was one of our requests met with eye rolling or hesitation. Just sure, we can do that.

The cabinet maker, Greg Olson, is great. A super nice guy who can build anything that can be laid out in CAD. We worked with him and New Creations’ designer Julia Laughlin extensively during the planning stages where we decided the location of everything, the silverware, spice rack, pantry, garbage bins, etc… We meticulously made these decisions, Greg would show us the official CAD drawings, we’d make changes, and eventually sign off on said Drawings. The day the cabinets came in and were set up was extremely exciting. We walked around opening all of the cabinet doors and drawers. Everything was identical to the CAD drawings.

No project is without its hiccups and we experienced a few along the way. Mostly due to our remodel taking place over the Christmas holiday and the fact that our initial Field Manager was let go, leaving a slightly disorganized period of time in the middle. Once the logistics of this were worked out, New Creations quickly regrouped and the project was back on track and finished off strong and to our liking.

Other people who we were extremely impressed with were: Apollo, who did all of the tile work and most of the random things that needed to be completed. Troy, who handled scheduling and organization. Julia, the designer as mentioned above. The electrician, whose name escapes me was very detailed. Of course Roy, the founder of New Creations who is very sincere and will not take anything less than his client’s complete satisfaction. The folks at Summit Stoneworks were also great. I’m sure I’m missing a few other people, but again all were wonderful.

I certainly would use New Creations again in the future.

We signed off on the finished project mid -September of 2018. Five months later only a few items need to be addressed.
Overall, our experience with the New Creations crew has been very positive. The process was lengthy but the thing I noticed most about Roy, the reason I chose to have NC remodel two bathrooms, is his attitude. Roy strives for the “like new” look and isn’t happy till you are. Too many times contractors have a “good enough” outlook. Roy has surrounded himself with talented people, especially Apollo, who runs the construction part of the remodel.
As any growing company may experience, there were occasionally communication and subcontractor issues.
However, I encourage you to talk to the crew at New Creations and form your own opinions. But know that their positive approach is infectious and they stand by their craftsmanship!

We are EXTREMELY happy with the work done by New Creations on our kitchen. Our experience started with Design where Erin worked with us in every aspect of the design and never complained or rushed us when we changed our minds. She accompanied us on all of the supplier visits and was instrumental in us being so happy with the final results. She also staid engaged throughout the project. The Construction phase went just as well. The quality of the workmanship was top notch. No mater how much mess was made, they cleaned up the job site EVERY DAY. The team was always checking in to make sure we were happy with what we saw and it was obvious that they really cared about us, our kitchen and making sure we had a great experience. Roy send us an email with a progress update and next steps almost every day, this in addition to maintaining a complete project list and calendar online that we could review and made our own comments. A couple of time we wanted to make changes in the design after the project was underway and while this is never optimum, Roy and his team went above and beyond to make sure that this process exceeded our expectations. The level of communication, customer focus and quality of the project were outstanding. If you want the best that Austin has to offer in custom Kitchens. I have NO hesitation in recommending New Creations.

We hired New Creations to do a complete remodel on our 5000 sq. ft. home in Austin, Texas. We were very pleased with the results of our new home. The remodel consisted of everything from painting walls to taking the kitchen down to the studs and rebuilding it. Roy and his staff were very professional at all times. They worked with us and we never felt pressure of any kind to do something that we weren't 100% agreed upon. They kept us informed at all times of the process of the remodel. We all worked together and as a result we have a beautiful home.
Roy has also continued to stay in touch with us and recently called to see if we would like our countertops resealed and anything else we needed. This follow up was after almost three years from our remodel job. We were very impressed with New Creations not only for their design work, the quality of people they employed and the follow up given three years later. I highly recommend New Creations based on the job that was done for us.

Roy and the New Creations team did a fantastic job on a complete bathroom remodel and I highly recommend New Creations for anyone considering a bathroom or kitchen remodel for their home. From the beginning to the end of the process, Roy and his team were very involved and attentive throughout. In the early stages of design, Roy helped me come up with the vision of what I wanted, and they quickly and efficiently created what I now consider the shining star of the house. The New Creations team was also very capable of pivoting quickly on particular items if I wanted a tweak or two along the way. Overall it was a great experience and came at a great price, and I plan on using New Creations for an upcoming kitchen remodel.

We worked with New Creations to do a complete kitchen remodel, and a refresh of a laundry room and powder room. We are very pleased not only with the results, but the entire process from design to completion.

Roy is the business owner and handles the sales and design aspects of projects. Roy is a very honest person and was always up front and forthcoming about what options would cost. He also is very good at planning a job to make sure everything runs smoothly. On the project design, Roy was always very enthusiastic and was a pleasure to work with. He was able to understand our vision of what we wanted and use his expertise to make it better than we ever could have done on our own. He was always working on new ideas, whether it was dropping off new tile samples that he was excited about, or sweating the details on the perfect paint colors. We appreciated the personal attention and passion that Roy put into our project.

Troy is the project manager and is responsible for the construction, schedule, and quality of the job. We couldn't have asked for a better person to work with than Troy. He was always on top of every single detail, and it was clear that he took the schedule and job quality very seriously. Whenever we would ask him a question or give feedback, he would always make sure to take care of it; I can't think of a single time when Troy forgot something that I had talked to him about. Troy is a very nice person who knows how to get things done on time with a level of quality that he would expect in his own house.

Our job came in on time and on budget. Everyone we worked with was professional and friendly. The results were everything we wanted, and for a job this big it ran very smoothly. We will definitely be working with New Creations on our next remodeling project.​

Update 4/6/2018 - Bathroom Remodel

We worked with New Creations to do a complete master bathroom remodel and a refresh of a jack and jill bathroom. Both bathrooms turned out amazing, both in terms of looks and functionality. This is our second time working with New Creations (previously we did a complete kitchen remodel) and once again Roy and his team really took care of us from beginning to end.

All aspects of the work - from design to project management to construction were handled extremely professionally and with great attention to detail. The project came in ahead of schedule and on budget.

A big thanks to Roy, Erin, Apollo, and the rest of the team for another home run project! We look forward to our next project with you all!

Anxiety-free Remodeling Experience – Due to some structural limitations, our kitchen cabinetry had to be custom built. We chose New Creations because of 1) their business process model and warranties, 2) their flexibility in working with both our design and budget constraints, and 3) their many rave and recent reviews.

Every member of the NC Team was professional, flexible, creative, and prompt in communicating and resolving questions or challenges. Additionally, as experienced remodelers (not new construction) they appreciate architectural style versus popular trends, can anticipate potential issues in existing homes, and, blessedly, they respect that we 'live' here.

My husband and I were exceedingly pleased with how easy the entire process was, unlike our prior contractor experiences. Working with Troy, Greg, et al, we were able to smoothly coordinate third party tradesman work into the schedule, including my husband and I doing some work ourselves. The most stressful point was deciding on a paint color!

We are very happy with how the finished kitchen looks and functions, and that it was completed by the target date. We would recommend Roy and New Creations without hesitation.

We hired New Creations to remodel our kitchen in 2014. They came recommended by friends here in Jester Estates and we loved their kitchen. Roy was very accommodating of our schedule and could meet with us in the evening which was a huge plus. This was our first remodeling project and Roy and Troy made it stress free for us. The project was completed on time and on budget with no change orders - that's good planning. Their team of cabinet makers, painters, appliance, tile and granite professionals were all a pleasure to work with. They worked hard to keep our house clean during construction and the workmanship was very high quality. I did use a designer, Kimball Bonamici, to help with a few elements and that worked out well. We love our new kitchen and highly recommend New Creations.

We love our new master bathroom! The New Creations team just finished our complete master bath remodel and we're super happy. We love the work they did, and the way they collaborated to deliver what we wanted/needed on time and on budget--and before the holidays! Erin and Roy were great with ideas and discussing options. Apollo and Jose were a pleasure to be around, super courteous and very thoughtful of our home and kept the site incredibly cleaned and organized. Roy managed all the tradespeople to pretty concise schedules and they too were all very nice and respectful. We really love our new room and we'll definitely look to work with the New Creations team when we do our kitchen remodel.

New Creations just finished an amazing remodel of our kitchen and family room. The entire process, particularly the finished product, far exceeded our expectations. Roy is a joy to work with, and his design assistant Erin gave us fabulous ideas. Roy really means it when he says "how can we serve you"? Roy kept in touch with us almost daily through email, phone or text, and was never too busy to discuss our needs. Any anxiety we had starting the project dissolved as we realized Roy and his team’s main concern was making sure we loved our new spaces – and we do!!

We have now been working in our new kitchen for almost a month and I love it more every day. Small issues discovered have been addressed immediately though the project is ended – something I have not experienced before. When we remodeled our master bath several years ago, we were never able to get the contractor to come back and fix pretty big issues and ended up having to hire someone else.

The entire team at New Creations is professional and takes great pride in their work. Apollo Is the master of all trades- there is nothing that man can't do. James, Greg, Gerardo, Wes and our wonderful painters - thank you!!!

We love our new bathroom! Our project included some changes to our old floor plan and lots of updating. From the beginning, we felt comfortable with the whole process as presented by Roy. He communicated very clearly and told us exactly what we needed to know. We loved meeting and getting to know Oscar, Erin, Erika and all the other team members during the project. Erika got the ball rolling by collecting important, initial information. Erin was a great help in making design decisions; she was always there when we needed her. As project manager, Oscar orchestrated all the details with products and people to get the job done right. We appreciate all the fine 'artists' and their talents for cabinetry, tile, flooring, plumbing, shower glass, paint~

Over the Top Service, Quality and Satisfaction – We hired New Creations to remodeled our kitchen (new cabinets, new granite countertops and new tile backsplash). The results were absolutely incredible, the kitchen looked even better than we had imagined it would. Things that put New Creations over the top: We were always able to reach Roy when we had a question, everything they said they would do - they did - plus more, all items were delivered at the exact time they were promised, Roy provided valuable input when we had design questions, his staff was very attentive, knowledgable and easy to work with. We highly recommend Roy and New Creations!

Roy Faust and his crew remodeled my kitchen in 2007. The quality and workmanship has lived on beautifully for 10 years. Friends and family are still astounded by the design and craftsmanship. It has not aged and does not need to be updated when you have such quality.

I have recommended New Creations whenever anyone needs a remodel. You can't ask for a more responsible and likable crew. Roy kept me updated on any change or discrepancy and all appointments and deadlines were met. He is very organized and always thinks ahead. When they were done with the remodel, I had no concern that wasn't met. I am still enjoying my beautiful kitchen to this day. This has been one of the best remodels I could have done for my home. My kitchen is my family and friend gathering place.

As I was looking for my next new home, I fell in love with a home that had a kitchen remodeled by New Creations. It was amazing with exceptional design in which you could tell had been professionally executed. In our search for a new home, we ended up buying a house that was going to need to be renovated and immediately I called Roy. I told him I had seen his work first hand and wanted him to renovate our kitchen! Roy agreed to work with us although our situation would be unique in that not only was the kitchen being renovated, but the entire house was under construction. Roy and his entire team far exceeded our hopes for a dream kitchen! In working with different construction teams for the last 4 months, I can say that without a doubt New Creations stands out for their ability to communicate, execute, and make you feel like you are their only client! Roy and Troy were always available when we had any questions or concerns and that is invaluable when it comes to designing your dream home! Apollo, who did the tile work and punch list went above and beyond his role as well. Everyone on his team was professional, friendly, polite, and worked as though it was more than just a job for them. They all take pride in their work and it shows! Incredible experience with New Creations – The New Creations team led by Roy, Troy, and the crew truly turned our outdated kitchen into our dream kitchen. Every aspect of the remodel was on time and just as we discussed. Roy's ideas, plans and willingness to listen to what we wanted made the experience so positive. From the early stages of not knowing exactly what we wanted we were put at ease. Roy was able to pull together an incredible design based on what we liked and disliked. The crew was outstanding. Not only was their work top quality, they were all so careful to clean the work area each day. Troy kept us updated every step of the way. We had a clear plan as to when projects were being done, who was going to be at the house, and every question we had was promptly answered. We truly love our new kitchen and feel blessed to have had such an amazing team of professionals working to complete the project.

My wife and I have been designing our remodel with Roy and his team for a year now. Before we even bought the house, he came out with us and walked through it with us so we could show our idea of moving the kitchen into the sunroom and removing the wall that separates the sunroom from the from the house proper. Roy brought in his whole crew to check feasibility. Long story short we bought it and will have the showroom kitchen I have always wanted. But that isn't why I am leaving this review. In the middle of remodel planning, I needed to change offices and my office had 3k of sqft that need a major update. I was overloaded moving brokers and bringing clients over. I told Roy that I was giving him full reign and to only bring me in if something major needs my approval. He was able to get this project squeezed in and even the property manager of the office was impressed with the quality and detail of the work. Everything came out perfect and faster than I thought was even possible. Whether its a home or office remodel, I would hold a nail for this team without flinching!

I have used New Creations for three bathroom remodels. This review is specifically about the most recent renovation. It was for a small 3/4 bathroom. Roy and Erika went above and beyond to design the space and source the perfect yellow tile! This bathroom is used by my oldest child whose favorite color is yellow. Oscar is the project manager and made sure that everything was done perfectly. The whole team is made up of the most wonderful people. In fact I’m so happy with them that we’re in the midst of our fourth project together: a kitchen renovation along with the rest of the house!

We love our updated kitchen! New Creations transformed our cramped kitchen with limited countertop and cabinet space into a new gathering area that is now the focal point of or home. New Creations also transformed a small, dull library/bar space into something amazing. This is our second time working with New Creations. Roy Faust and his team are true professionals and committed to making everything right. We trust Roy and that was a primary consideration for us in choosing someone to remodel our kitchen.

Erin Rooney presented us with 5 design/layout options to consider. This was all done on the computer so we could see the layout and elevation views of each option. Erin visualized options that that we couldn't and we could not be happier with the final product. We gained so much countertop and cabinet space! No more cramped drawers or competition for cutting board space. Erin was with us every step of the way in selecting materials and colors. She definitely has a talent that you should utilize.

The cabinetry built and installed by Apollo is amazing. We had the cabinets stained and went from a natural finish to a darker look. We love the contrast of the cabinets with the lighter backsplash and counters. It really makes the kitchen look so elegant. Apollo also installed the backsplash and flooring. He is meticulous with his workmanship and you can trust him to get it right.
