Big G comes through…again!

Recently, the palm tree in our backyard decided to suddenly tip over and hover close to the ground. In a rush, my neighbor suggested I use their service to help secure the tree. That service charged us an exorbitant amount just to tie a rope around that tree and secure it to another tree, then provided an estimate for the removal of the palm once an arborist declared it unsalvageable.

That’s when it hit me. Big G!!!

It had been 6 years and we moved to a different house, but when I reached out, Gerardo responded immediately. He remembered us, and we immediately began scheduling a time for him to come by and provide an estimate.

We ended up clearing out the tree and trimmed all the other trees around the house, and his team cleared and hauled off the truckload of debris. The work was done professionally and they set us up to not have to do it again for years (vs a shorter trim).

The best part is that Gerardo provided pricing that honestly saved us $2k! He is awesome and his team is great. Don’t look anywhere else!

Big G Tree Expert removed a large mulberry tree and did extensive trimming of several trees around my house. They were responsive, came right away, did a fantastic job just as I asked, and I also appreciated that they did a thorough clean-up afterwards.

Terrible experience, think twice before you use them and be very careful. They came and cut a branch that fell and trimmed our oak trees. My husband made arrangements to pay with a credit card, but when they came, they preferred a check, so I wrote a check. They showed up at my door at 6:30pm one night banging repeatedly on my door...and I had a sign that said "please do not knock." I went out and Dwyane started going off on me about how I wrote a bad check (which I did not). They said my check wouldn't cash, which made no sense since I've never had a problem before. I called my bank and they assured me I had sufficient funds and nothing was wrong with my account or check. About two weeks later, I get a phone call from Dwayne and he starts yelling at me, demanding I meet them and give them cash. I call my bank again and once again, they assure me that it's not my check. The banker suggested it was their bank or a problem on their end. Whatever the issue was, I spoke to three different people at Wells Fargo and all three said there was no record of the check ever pending or showing that it wouldn't cash for any reason. My husband ended up dealing with them after Dwayne yelled at me...Dwayne ended up yelling and cursing at my husband to the point my husband had to tell them we would call the police if they showed up at our house. Long story short and some bizarre texts from them later, we just wanted to be done with this awful experience so my husband met the guy and gave him a credit card number...which he ended up charging an extra $24 from the original price. Just be careful if you use them.

Gerardo and his crew are easy to work with, reliable, professional, knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond - and with the best prices in town.

I have used Big G Tree Expert for the past couple of years to trim two trees and take down another two. The price is very competitive. I would highly recommend for any tree trimming needs.

I have used Gerardo twice and he does great work. I had a large branch split from the trunk of my tree and he was able to remove the remaining damaged portion of the tree the same day.

Best tree trimmer in town-hands down! Really knows what he's doing and does quality work by puttin in the time. Can't beat his prices either.

I hired Gerardo to dig out plants, transplant some of them and place rock in my front yard, back yard and both side yards. It was a huge job! I had some ideas of my own and also relied on him for ideas. Gerardo and his crew worked hard to complete the job quickly. I am very pleased with his work and will hire him again in the future to trim my trees.

Big G is the real deal. He is communicative, and works quickly. His crew is polite and works hard. If you want tree work done quickly, done well and done at a fair price you should work with Big G and his team. They took down a large branch that was in danger of falling on my house. It was a very tricky project with having to remove the limb without hitting the roof, fence, neighbor's trees and using multiple ropes. When they were done the branch was gone and you would otherwise have not known he was there. Hire this guy!- Sam

Gerardo is awesome! He came out and gave me an estimate the next business day after I sent him a message. He came out to do the job when he said he would and was a great communicator throughout. And my trees look wonderful! All trimmed up but they still look the same if that makes sense? We had one tree overhanging the street that had to be trimmed a lot and I thought for sure it was going to end up looking lopsided... but it looks totally normal! Call Big G!

Big G and his crew removed a HUGE diseased Post Oak from my front yard. The whole crew is easy to work with, friendly, and hardworking. You can't beat Big G's prices-- he is fair and honest. I am sad to lose my beautiful tree, but at least Big G and his crew made it as easy and inexpensive as possible. I will definitely use Big G again and so should you!

P.S. My experience was NOTHING like Kris's: Dwayne and the rest of them were awesome to work with. They were professional, energetic, easy-going, and respectful. I don't know what happened with Kris, but I really enjoyed working with Big G, Dwayne, and the rest of his crew!

We hired Big G Tree Experts for some large tree trimming in out backyard. Big G and his crew were fantastic, highly recommend. They communicated with neighbors and listened to what we wanted done.

Great tree trimming! These guys were in the neighborhood. I asked them for an estimate and paid them since I was headed to work. I got home to immaculate pruning, great work and lots of improvement. I recommend them highly for reasonable prices and an excellent job!

Big G's Tree Service responded promptly when we needed a very large tree removed and others trimmed back around our house. They showed up when they said they would, did quality work and hauled everything off. The price was reasona le and we're happy with the results.
