Rachael managed an install of sod and pavers at our home, she did a great job communicating with us as well as scheduling delivery and install. She even took changes in weather into account and took care of everything. The crew that installed was friendly, respectful and did a great job, even cleaning up the yard when they were done. We will use Yard Doc again and would absolutely recommend them to neighbors and friends.

Yard Doc provides excellent pool maintenance service. Seth and Christian are the best!. The pool is consistently maintained resulting in a crystal clear pool which is important since we run a short term rental property. Any time I have had an issue or a question I am able to text Christian or Seth and get an Immediate response and if needed they provide a resolution promptly. These guys are professional, knowledgable and trustworthy. I highly recommend

Travis and his team did an exceptional job with the design and installation of our landscape. My husband and I are over the moon in the end. From the time I contacted Travis, to the installation, was quick and efficient, and most of all absolutely above and beyond our wildest expectations. Our back and front yard is an xeriscape oasis.

Travis listened and took on the challenge of our drainage issues with ease. He designed something that made the drainage problem into a beautiful aspect of our backyard. Not easy to accomplish given our terrain and flooding issues we have had in the past. Every time it rained, even the smallest of rain, mud would end up in our pool and Travis solved the problem. Even though we need the rain, secretly my husband and I would cringe knowing what would lie ahead. Now we say bring on the rain!

Another thing that impressed us the most was his team. They were always on time, kept the area clean while in construction phase and were kind and courteous. This is something we appreciated greatly as we have 4 four-legged members of the family who love to be outdoors and get into mischief. Luis, the Operations Manager, always took my call/text with professionalism, listened and had solutions to every whim and concern. Can't say enough glowing comments about Luis and his men.

Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole process. My neighbors have inquired about them as has friends. Every single cent was put to good use. I have the envy of all yards. Thank you Travis and his team!!!

The good folks of Thrive Landscape and Design have recently done a tremendous job of bringing creativity, responsiveness, professionalism and spectacular results together at a strong value. The upgrades we recently have done to our back yard looking out over valley and hills, we provide a wonderful return in our investment and the value of our home/property for years to come.

Under the hands-on/attention to detail leadership of Travis Odom all went smoothly and exceeded our expectation. The final deliverable included a newly created entertainment center in a portion of our back yard, including a rectangular fire pit, stone work, trees, shrubs and regional plants. This was under his supervision, as originally designed to address our needs.

His team of workers were engaged, friendly, timely, conscientious and were a pleasure to have satisfying our interests.

We had an excellent and lovely experience with Thrive. This is the third time we’ve had to redo our backyard on account of prior poor planning or climate changes that have made certain plants incompatible with our summer heat. Thrive did an outstanding job of producing a plan that was simple but Beautiful. And their crew did an excellent job of getting it done and doing it right. I highly recommend. We picked Thrive based on their great website but did not know anyone who had used them. They are in Austin and we live in Horseshoe Bay. Travis and his team turned out to be the best chance we ever took! He offered solid design ideas and did everything exactly as he promised. They are responsive, timely, neat and HONEST. We highly recommend them.

Thrive Landscape and Design
Our steep and sloping backyard significantly eroded after 25 years. The remaining grass and plant life died off in the 2022 and 2024 arctic blasts. Travis Odom of Thrive Landscape and design created a zero-maintenance plan that made our backyard landscape visually appealing. He was easy to work with and very responsive to our needs. His work crew of Victor, Rafael, and Carlos worked diligently to implement the plan. They were very skilled at ALL aspects of the plan’s installation. They came early, worked hard and cleaned up each day before they left. Luis the supervisor came frequently to oversee the plans’ implementation. Travis followed up on our satisfaction with the plan during and upon completion of the project. Our new backyard landscape significantly adds to our home and property value.

I can't recommend Travis Odom and his team at Thrive highly enough. Travis designed a drought-tolerant landscape which included removing my front lawn and redoing the backyard as well. Travis Odom designed, and his delightful crew installed a very special memory garden for us. From our first connection requesting a consultation to the final review, communication and professionalism were outstanding. Thrive Landscape and Design just finished our landscaping project at our new home. We couldn’t be happier, how it turned out. Wanted to upgrade and enhance the usability of our front and backyard. Both are connected now with a flagstone paver walkway along the side of the house. The main design highlights included a Trex deck with two levels and steel railings to blend in with our perimeter fence, 2 steel planters 2’ high and 4’ high and artfully designed flowerbeds with river rocks and Mexican beach Pebble for the Frontyard. The crew was always friendly, hard working and professional. When they ran into some snags, Luis and Travis helped actively to resolve it to full customer satisfaction. Many people complimented our beautiful landscape and we always have and will recommend Travis and his team highly for any complexity of landscape design.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Travis, Luis and the entire Thrive team! Over the past year we’ve worked with many contractors as we renovated our home both inside and out and Thrive was top-notch. Travis worked with us collaboratively to come up with the perfect landscaping plan for our entire yard and Luis and the team executed it perfectly. They repaired the damage done to our irrigation system due to our pool construction and installed mostly native and native-adapted plants to give us a drought-tolerant but still lush and layered appearance while attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. We included gravel paths, metal edging, flagstones and even a turf potty area for our dog, Finley! Thrive was also more than helpful fixing a drainage issue we didn’t even know existed. When we purchased our home we inherited an overgrown and somewhat neglected yard. Thrive has helped us create an enjoyable, functional and beautiful outdoor living space that we will enjoy for years to come.

Amazing landscape company! I hired them to landscape a property that has been in my family for more than 50 years - a very special place situated on a private cove on the highland lakes bordering a ranch/wildlife preserve.
Travis listened carefully to our landscape ideas and incorporated them into a professional design that we could tweak to our wishes. The work involved masonry, ironwork, earth moving, and installation of natural shrubs and flowering plants.
