Jason and the Southern Love landscaping team were amazing to work with and really made our backyard vision come to life. They built a deck for us with really impressive craftsmanship. They sourced all the right materials to match some of our existing landscaping, and gave great advice on native plants to put in. We had a wonderful experience working with Southern Love Landscaping from beginning to end. Jason was patient and thoughtful helping us get through the design process for our space. Once we agreed on plans, he accommodate our calendar and the crew showed up promptly to work on our set day. The crew worked hard and diligently, with an eye for detail and precision that we greatly appreciate. The owner Nikk came by on our final day to make sure the work was done right and to check-in with us. We were very pleased that not only the work was complete correctly and to our satisfaction but also that it was finished within the time frame they estimated with us initially. We started with a backyard that was essentially unusable--mostly dirt and dead grass--and ended up with a space we actually want to spend time in.

They handled the full transformation: Texas native plants, fresh sod, irrigation, lighting, a new patio with poured concrete pavers, a pergola, and decking built around our above-ground pool. The result feels intentional, cohesive, and well suited to both the climate and how we use the space.

We worked with their designers to develop the plan, and that process was smooth and collaborative. They listened, had good instincts, and were happy to iterate with us until the design felt right. From first contact to breaking ground took about three months, which felt reasonable given the scope. Once construction started, everything moved fast--the entire project was completed around two to three weeks.

Most importantly, we're extremely happy with the outcome. The yard is beautiful and dramatically more usable than before.

When we first moved in, our backyard was just grass and weeds - nothing special, just another new-build lot waiting for some life. We hired Southern Love Landscaping to design and install an outdoor kitchen and full landscape using only Texas native plants and trees.

From day one, these guys were awesome. The crew showed up on time, cleaned up every day, and treated our property like it was their own. They worked hard, paid attention to detail, and wrapped up right on schedule - which is almost unheard of in construction.

We did run into a few pricing changes compared to some of the early contractor bids, but honestly, that’s just part of the game. The quality of the work and how it all came together made it more than worth it.

Now the backyard feels like part of Texas - not something dropped in from a catalog. Everything looks natural and well thought out, and the outdoor kitchen turned out even better than we hoped.

The owner, Ronnie, personally came to my house to discuss my needs and desires for the lawn. After spending about 20 minutes here, we decided on a game plan. He showed up the next morning with a professional, hard working crew and got straight to work. They were well mannered and did a phenomenal job making everything look perfect. If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would!

Ronald Weaver and his team from Transformed Landscaping helped us with the landscape design and construction in our backyard. His team is very professional, timely and easy to communicate with. We enjoy the new look of our backyard. We were really happy with their service.

We worked with Transformed Landscaping to update our yard to a more desert-like design with crushed granite and cacti. Ron and his team were laid back and fairly easy to work with, but the final product is terrible. I asked for it to be sleek and clean, but my backyard looks like a kid's sandbox. Grass is growing through everywhere, the granite is super uneven, and the black cloth is visible nearly everywhere. We even had to ask them to replant several cacti because they were planted so haphazardly. It feels like they didn't use enough material to properly cover the surface of the yard and what they did use was low quality. My partner and I have started small weekend projects to fix the issues like stapling the black cloth into place and raking the crushed granite in more streamlined ways. We spent over $22,000 for this. I hate knowing that I saved that money for so long and spent it on a team who took no pride in their work. I would recommend searching for other providers.

We have a huge yard. The idea of trying to landscape it was so overwhelming that we didn't do anything for years. Ron and team did a great job planting a bamboo on the perimeter of my property. The price was within market compared to other landscapers and Ron took the time to make sure I got the best possible plants for my goals.

Ron was great to work with. He helped me with 2 projects. One was cleaning up the mess of a yard at our rental property. They mowed, edged and weeded the flower beds. This helped us a lot getting out of that house. Then, in our new house, Ron helped us put beautiful succulents and cacti in 2 front flower beds, and he added a new flower bed in our front lawn where a big patch of grass wasn't growing. Results look very nice. Ron was always very communicative, an did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. I would use them again!

Love the service provided by Ron and the Transformed team. The landscaping was great but even better is the monthly maintenance services they provide. They care for my property like I would (if I had the skills)! They are always responsive to any request I have and keep me informed of everything happening. Couldn’t be happier!
