We have used them numerous times and every time they are professional and really care about the final product and outcome. Their customer service is outstanding as well!

I never write bad reviews, but I hope this one prevents someone from losing money from Southern Landscape. Last year, we got a preliminary design done by Colleen. She didn't ask anything about our desires for our project, and designed a space that was not at all what we wanted and way beyond our budget. We requested edits to the design, but we never heard back. After many weeks, we sent a message through their website saying the project was unfinished and we wanted the design file to have someone else fix it. A woman named Shannon sent us a PDF file that could not be edited, and we never heard back. After spending a lot of money on the design, we ended up with nothing. This company lacks professionalism and ethics.

Be very careful working with Southern Landscape. We reached out for a proposal to put in a sandstone patio in the backyard. Our budget was around 8,000 - 12,000. Upon looking at the space Colleen said that the project was doable and within price range. After paying the $500 design fee we received back 4 proposals several weeks later ranging from. 18,000 - 40,000. Their was one proposal that was around 12,000 that included nothing that we discussed. We've written several emails and have not heard anything back. Trying to get back half of our design fee as outlined in the contract. When asked why the proposals were so high Colleen stated that was the cost of sandstone. If the project was going to be that high I wish we knew before we started down this path Not sure where mis communication occurred but all were hoping to do now is get back the $250 outlined in the contract.

Southern Landscape always does a great job and working with Aaron has always been a pleasure. He’s very responsive and does his job in a timely manner and my house always looks so great after him and the guys have come by!

Southern Landscape is an excellent company— very professional, kind, and creative with their design work. The on-site workers are friendly and well-organized. We have used Southern Landscape over 3 separate properties in the greater Austin area and would highly recommend their work!

We hired Southern Landscaping to redesign our outdoor space including sections of our yard that had been decimated by "historical" freezes and/or draught. Southern Landscape listened to our goal of using less water going forward, and implemented a hardscape design that looks natural and cohesive with our new drought-tolerant plants. Also wanted to give a shout out to the SL crew. Each member of their team was polite, knowledgeable and very professional. They left the site clean and orderly at the end of each work day, and treated our property with respect. They also fixed a nagging problem with a channel drain around our pool deck, and now it's working beautifully! We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Southern Landscaping!

We took on a very largescale landscaping project and we could not have asked for a better partner in design and installation than Southern Landscape. Ashleigh was our designer and she really took the time to understand our needs and likes and came up with a plan that is so natural and native to the Austin landscape. Our neighbors are already jealous. As for the demo and installation team, they were the most courteous, professional and skilled team that we have ever worked with as homeowners. They worked hard every minute while on the job and left the property so organized and clean at the end of every day. Fico was the team foreman and was so amazing. We also worked with Darren and Aaron, and they equally represented Southern Landscape in the most professional and knowledgable way. In addition to grass install, softscape planting and what seemed to be countless feet of hardscape stonework, we also had Southern demolish and rebuild our bridge that is the main entryway into the house. If we could give them 6 stars out of 5, we would, and we look forward to having them back for years to come on other projects at our home. Also, I know our project was on the larger end, but I have no doubt that Southern would bring the same level of care and attention to even the smallest jobs, so do not hesitate to contact for any of your landscape design, build or maintenance needs.

Southern Landscape helped us remodel our poolside cabana and structurally reinforce our large outdoor deck. We've worked with a number of contractors over the years, but they were honestly the best we've worked with - especially in terms of communication. Everyone involved - from Ashleigh on the design to Aaron & Darron and the construction crew - went the extra mile the entire way through to offer ideas and communicate any potential issues or questions. We ended up having to order a couple extra parts for some of our outdoor cabinets and Aaron came back right away to install them and did a couple final finishes for us while he was here. We highly recommend their work. They made the whole process feel easy!

Genuinely, I can’t say enough wonderful things about Southern Landscape. We’ve used them twice over multiple-years for some large landscape design projects (pool deck/raised beds and creation of an interior courtyard). Monthly, I have unknown neighbors walk by and tell us how much they love the design - and neither project is brand new at this point. Their design skills were amazing; they patiently worked with our HOA; and the execution was well done and well supervised. When we had changes they partnered patiently to help us make adjustments and the one time we had a gate lock break, they came and replaced it quickly. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will use again!

I am so lucky to have chosen Southern Landscape for my backyard project. From the beginning this company was attentive and accommodating. My designer, Sara, was knowledgeable and patient, as I changed my mind often. She came up with a beautiful and functional design. I was nervous about the scope of the work and the disruption it would cause but Pao and his team were quick and efficient. Pao went above and beyond to meet any request I had. He was also patient as I changed my mind about some aspects of the project during construction. I took about 2 weeks to extend my patio, build a fireplace, clear some extensive existing vegetation, add a concrete pad, and build a lengthy sidewalk. Pao and his team did a spectacular job. Then they left my property in better shape than they found it. I definitely will be using this company in the future. Thank you for your attention to customer service and exceptional work that you do!!!

We had an incredible experience working with Colleen, Cody, and Balta at Southern Landscape. From start to finish, they were professional, respectful, and detail-oriented. The design that Colleen created for our yard was beautiful, thoughtful, and even better than we imagined. Balta, Cody, and the crew were fantastic. They cleaned up their tools and materials every night, were always courteous, and treated our home and yard with great care. It was such a smooth process, and we truly enjoyed working with them. We’ll absolutely work with them again in the future.

I had an excellent experience with Southern Landscape on a recent landscape project in my front yard. Ashleigh and Cody were on top of the job all the way. The crew arrived on time and stayed with the project through completion. I would use them again without hesitation. At the end of each day, everything was cleaned up and hauled away. I had a great experience with Authors landscaping company! The landscaper did an excellent job refreshing our front flower bed, and the results look fantastic. He arrived early and got right to work, showing a strong work ethic and great attention to detail throughout the project. He worked diligently to make sure everything was completed on time, and the finished flower bed really improved the curb appeal of our home. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality landscaping work.
