Abey and his group did an amazing job with my yard. The landscaping hadn’t been updated in nearly 20 years and needed a refresh - including a new back fence, sprinkler system and easy-maintenance plants.

I can't recommend Abey & Austin Creative Landscaping enough! Before starting the project I did a lot of research and reached out to a lot of other companies. Not only dud Austin Creative Landscaping offer the best price, but Abey came out in a very timely manner to get the project going when a lot of other companies quoted months before starting. When it came time to talk about the project not only was Abey extremely friendly and kind, but he was also extremely knowledgable and has a great eye. He made some great recommendations and really took the idea I had to the next level. Our project had some "easier" problems to solve as well as some "complex" problems and Abey figured out a solution for them all. When it came down to the actual work I don't think I could have envisioned it looking any better. The quality of work is absolutely top notch and professionally done. We couldn't be happier with the outcome, and every day we come home and see it, it puts a smile on my face seeing how Abey transformed our front and back yard!

I met Abey Bruce, owner of Austin Creative Landscaping (ACL), the first time while taking a morning walk. He and his team were working on nice steel and tile steps. Since they were doing a good job, I asked him for a business card. After that I saw them working on other clients' projects in the neighborhood.

I needed my rear backyard fence replaced. After meeting with several vendors and getting quotes, my neighbor and I decided to hire Abey since he agreed to our full specifications of thicker cedar pickets, steel posts, and special good neighbor steel hardware attachments.

On the first day, Abey and his team (Jose, Danilo, Francisco and Emerson) came on time and started to remove the old fence.
They removed the old wood posts and concrete lumps.
Many fence companies do not do that since it takes more time, instead they just cut the old wood posts and ground level. Abey's team removed all of them and installed steel posts at the same spots.

After that horizontal rails and pickets were carefully measured, cut and screwed.
The easement section was installed with wire mesh panels at the bottom foot.

The completed fence is so beautiful. It is much better than my neighbor and I expected.

We thank for Abey and his team. They were not only hard workers but also very friendly and kind. Whenever I asked them questions, they listened and and answered them.

I have a couple of plans in the near future to improve my yard. At that time I would like to ask ACL to do them.

We hired Abey to help turn our yard into an enjoyable space that would be easier to maintain than the overgrown jungle that we had. He and his crew did excellent work and were very professional, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. They were even willing to accommodate changes and requests throughout the project. We had them take out a couple of overgrown trees/bushes, install an irrigation system, all new sod, mulch around the existing crepe myrtles with corten edging, and a basalt gravel patio with pavers and new steps leading from the existing patio. We couldn't be happier with the results. Definitely give Abey a call!

I can’t recommend Abey at Austin Creative Landscaping highly enough. He has completely redesigned and rebuilt both the front and back yards at two different homes for me, and each experience was outstanding from start to finish.

Abey starts by listening. He took the time to understand our vision, then created a thoughtful design that balanced looks, function, and long-term practicality. He also welcomed feedback, going back and forth with post-design tweaks until everything felt exactly right. Throughout the entire process he was consistently communicative, clear on timelines, and proactive about updates, which made the whole project feel easy and well managed.

The results were truly excellent. In the back yards, we installed turf, quarter-inch steel edging, rocks, and a variety of other xeriscaping elements, and the finished product looks clean, polished, and built to last (and best of all, no dirt for the dogs to track in). The front yards were mostly laying new grass and planting new trees, but the layout and placement were so well considered that they immediately improved the curb appeal and overall feel of the homes. The workmanship was second to none.

Pricing-wise, Abey was very competitive. Definitely not the lowest bid, but also nowhere near the highest. Ad the value was incredible given the quality of the work and the experience overall.

I couldn’t be happier with how both projects turned out, and I’ve recommended Abey to all our friends without hesitation. If you’re looking for someone who combines great design sense, top-tier execution, and professional communication, Abey is the person to call.

We have now had two major projects completed by Abey and his crew. We are extremely pleased with the way that both or front and back yards turned out. They were on time, on budget, and delivered more than we could have asked for. Highly recommend for those who want quality.

I used Austin Creative Landscaping to design and construct the front and back yard landscaping of my newly built 2020 home. They exceeded my expectations in that they listened to my vision, made appropriate suggestions and modifications as the design/construction progressed and followed up on the project. They did such an incredibly fantastic job that ACL was the only company that I thought to call when I wanted some modifications/updates/new flowers added in 2023. The owner was easy to reach and was prompt in responding to my questions and requests for modifications (due to me changing my mind). What I greatly appreciated was that once they began the job, they showed up the next day until the job was completed to my satisfaction.
The pictures reflect both the original and then modified front yards. The back yard remained the same with the addition of a few more plants to balance out the original layout as it matured.

I hired Abey to design and install xeriscaping for our front yard. Abey was very easy to work with. Shortly after reaching out, Abey came to do a walk through of my property with me while we discussed what we were looking for. Taking our input he created a design that was within our budget and was able to modify it as with our change requests. After approving the work Abey was able to start the installation within the same week. The quality of the work Abey and his team performed exceeded my expectations. Abey and his team did a phenomenal job! I would absolutely work with them again. They were thoughtful through the planning process, doing a great job bringing our vision for our backyard to life. We needed immediate help with our front yard -- HOA gave us 10 days to solve the problem! Abey had done amazing landscaping in our back yard several years ago so I contacted him again to see if he could work magic. Not only did he respond immediately but he came by that afternoon and we worked out a plan. Our yard has new grass, a beautiful pathway, and the oak tree is trimmed and free of overgrown plants. The front landscaping makes the yard appear larger and more open. He and his team are amazing - knowledgable, professional, hard working and friendly. And yes, they CAN perform magic!!

We had some work done on our backyard last summer, which included a sitting area at the top of a small hill. When the slab for the sitting area was laid, it wound up being a much higher drop off than I envisioned and didn't look very attractive with so much cement having been required. The company that did the slab recommended Austin Creative Landscaping to put in a railing due to the drop off being fairly high. When Abey from ACL came out, he gave me some great ideas for the railing but mentioned that he could put in a planter area to soften the look of the cement. It all came out look great and we couldn't be happier! We highly recommend Austin Creative Landscaping, both for their work and their ideas and designs. We'd definitely work with them again!

Abey and crew were awesome! The quote/design was quick and the project thereafter was incredibly smooth. He and his staff were awesome with our toddler which was fun to witness. Issues were zero and the results were incredible -- would recommend 10 out of 10 times.

Abey and his team did a fantastic job transforming our yard from an unusable mess of weeds to a low-maintenance space we can truly enjoy. He struck a perfect balance of honoring our original design ideas and offering his own suggestions, such as the inclusion of Arizona Cypress trees and the use of pink fairland gravel for color and contrast. His team was kind and professional, and Abey himself was particularly easy to work with from initial consult to final product.

In particular, we love the custom planter Abey installed at our front entryway. He specializes in custom planters and his skill and passion shows — we love the clean finish and the pop it brings to our front yard. We were grateful for Abey’s full service landscaping, but even if you only find yourself in need of planters, he should be your first call!

Abey and his crew were incredible. I am not the easiest person to work with and even from the initial conversation and walk through of the yard, Abey “got me” and had extreme patience. He quickly jumped in with ideas on my vision to have a “lush but Texas Native yard” that included privacy trees and a seating area.
