You know what the best combination is for having work done at your house? When the folks who do it are laid back and easy to work with, but still have a strong work ethic. Talent helps too. This is what I feel I got working with Yarrow and I'm immensely grateful for their help.
The well-meaning guy who flipped my house installed a garden border that ended up probably causing foundation issues by retaining a ton of water. The Yarrow crew came out did everything that needed doing in order to fix the problem:
They installed a french drain where the water was collecting.
They redirected the follow of water across my property by digging trenches and moving downspouts.
They redid the garden and made it look exponentially better, and
They came out a time or two even after the job was complete to refine aspects of the design that were tested now that we've had 3 weeks of heavy rain.

My foundation is not going to sustain any more damage thanks to their work. My yard looks way better and under the ground, it's channeling rain water efficiently.

As for communication, I never had any issues. I had a group text going with them and someone always responded to my texts within the hour. They came out when they said they were going to come out and worked until either the day ended or the job was done. All in all, the work took 2 days, not including final touches here and there that I asked for.

Great team, a pleasure to work with all around. They'll definitely be my go-to for any work I need done outside of my house.

Just moved to Austin, I used Yarrow to do a major refurbishment of my front and back yards. Added pathways, fruit trees, irrigation, flower beds , lighting and patios. The driveway and walkway to my house is very long, i wanted a "wow factor" but had no idea how to do it. The Yarrow team developed a great concept and delivered. Very pleased with the personal attention and prompt response. I like companies that do what they say and say what they do. Excellent communication, no last minute price adders. Mandy clearly has good relationships with her sub contractors. Very pleased, Thanks for a job well done.

Mandi is hands down the best landscape designer I have ever worked with. I had an idea of what I wanted, and she designed something WAY better for the same cost. It was creative, beautiful, cost-efficient, sustainable, and most importantly, it was our style. She listened to my wants and needs and delivered something well beyond what I was expecting.

Mandi was available to consult whenever I needed. She made the introduction to her installation team, who were extremely nice and included me in any decisions that needed to be made when the project hit something unexpected. The work looks great, and I'm confident that if I ever have any problems, they'll come back and take care of it.

Next up, the backyard! I'm not even shopping around, just gonna use Yarrow.

We haven't started on the installation yet but the design phase of our project was great. Jade really listened to us and was able to translate our somewhat vague ideas into a concrete plan that we're going to love. She even figured out what we needed to include in order to qualify as a National Wildlife Federation Backyard Wildlife Habitat--very impressive since we live in Mueller and have a very small yard! We're eager to get started on the installation and are confident that Yarrow will maintain the same level of professionalism until all the work is done.

Work went smoothly despite interruptions due to weather and holidays. Otherwise, we had people working pretty much every day for a month, tidying up the job site before they went off duty. We found the Yarrow team and their subcontractors very professional and easy to work with. For the most part, things went according to the original plan but when we did have to make adjustments along the way, it was quick and easy to come to an agreement. Based on our experience, I highly recommend Yarrow.

We had our landscape designed and installed by Yarrow Landscaping. I am generally happy with how the mostly finished landscape turned out, however, I would never recommend Yarrow to others. The frustration that we have experienced with the disorganized team, lack of attention to detail, and poor communication has been a complete nightmare for the last 6 months. During the contract phase, we had to correct them multiple times for things that they completely left off of the contract that were clearly stated in the design. Even after construction began we were told in the middle of the project that some items were mistakenly left off and we were expected to pay for them. They did offer these items at “cost,” but it was still frustrating thinking we knew what our total cost was only to have it increase in the middle of the project. Their teams were poorly coordinated, rarely worked more than half a day, and had poor attention to detail. The work is still not complete as various issues with the installation are beginning to show. The Yarrow team prefer to argue with you over e-mail about why they are not responsible for installation issues rather than meet with the customer to see and understand the customer concerns. I wanted to like Yarrow, but I did not. There are many others out there, and I suggest you look somewhere else.

My family and I were so happy to find Yarrow Landscaping. Their professional yet easy manner made communications easy and enjoyable. I am a not a gardener, but Yarrow's team, led by Mandi, is knowledgeable and able to work with you, not get out ahead of you. They make sure the design fits with your vision while also educating you about options. The installation was done on time and is beautiful. I liked the crew who were respectful, polite, and taught me what I needed to know. Yarrow is an all-female owned and HUB business which I made it stand out to me. I am now so excited about landscaping, I want Yarrow to xeriscape my front lawn. Yarrow landscaped my backyard and now I want the front to be done for everyone to see. A neighbor down the street was having their front yard done. I was loving watching the progress and then a Yarrow sign popped up there too. Highly recommend!

5-star experience. Yarrow is a great company with a caring, consciencious owner who made it her personal mission to ensure our project went well. (It did.) Can't recommend enough!

Angela and Patrick were fantastic!! We purchased a new house that had drainage issues and they helped us come up with a solid plan. We decided start out conservative and build on the project over time. Angela did not hesitate and modified the plan for us. We will definitely work with them in the future!!

My experience with Yarrow was truly fantastic. They were really thoughtful in the design of my backyard patio and planting areas. All their recommendations were so beautiful and required very little maintenance for me, which was a big priority. Their crew was really fast with the installation and they were all kind and considerate of my house. They were even nice to my dog! I liked them all so much after my first project that I’ve gone back to them twice more for smaller projects and I’ve also hired them to do another big landscaping project at my new house. Definitely recommend hiring them for any landscaping work.

Angela was so great to work with - patient and supportive in helping us design our new outdoor space while keeping to tight timelines for our Cowboy Pool installation. Patrick, Brian and the crews were timely, professional, and ensured we were happy with the end result.

JB Landscaping & Stone did an incredible job on our patio project, assisting with concrete steps and multiple limestone pathways. Every detail was precisely measured and meticulously constructed. The crew showed exceptional craftsmanship, taking the time to ensure everything was perfect.

I tend to be very particular, and I had some initial doubts, but JB Landscaping exceeded my expectations. They stayed true to our discussions, even accommodating changes mid-project without hesitation. Their pricing was fair and hard to beat. I wanted to switch lawn maintenance services and came across Century. I was blown away with how much more professional this company was than the average, "mow and blow" companies. We started with them in December and they have been amazing!

I’ve been using Century Lawn and Landscaping service for 4 years. I started with their monthly mowing services and quickly added mulching, tree and shrub trimming and early this year I added hardscaping around the pool. It looks fabulous!! Jenna, Kyle, Jon and crew are professional, responsive, quality work at a reasonable cost.

They did a pretty good job with the initial landscape clean-up.

Would not recommend the ongoing $99 monthly service - it was frankly pretty disappointing.

This is a Fabulous company in every way. I had three rock work projects to be completed and the results of each were extraordinary. They created two rock and mortared pathways (one quite large) as well as installing metal edging and a rock border all around my gardens. The gentlemen who did the rock work were true craftsmen as well as being very respectful and hard working. They even continued working in the rain one of the days they were here! I also appreciated the professionalism of Jenna (the vice-president) and Jonathan (operations manager/landscape designer). They communicated well with me and kept their word. On top of all this the price was very competitive. Five stars all the way!

We contacted Century Lawn and Landscape to help us put in 2 flower beds in our front yard and to match stone and brick to our house. Kyle was very knowledgeable and was on time, even early to meet with me. He had some great ideas for drought resistant local flowers and decorative grasses. We also discussed some raised beds in the back yard for a future vegetable garden. The work was completed quickly and done beautifully. We are so pleased, and our yard is so lovely. Shortly after completion of this project my husband injured his back and was unable to care for our lawn. We entrusted Century Lawn and Landscape to the task. They are wonderful, our yard always looks polished and professionally done. The workers are quick and skilled. Our gates are always closed. They are consistent and very reliable. I can call or email with any special add ons or requests and they are always addressed. My husband's back is better but we continue with Century because they do such a great job and their attention to detail is more precise that my husbands. :) We are excited to begin designing "phase 2" with Kyle for our landscaping. We are pleased and we love working with a local family company.

For many reasons our lawn has been neglected and was in serious need of attention. I tried an independent person to start by putting a preemergent on the grass at the appropriate time...but he apparently didn't know what it was so started just spraying weeds. Consequently I missed the window of opportunity for that treatment .

I noticed most of the nice looking lawns on my street had Century trucks out front doing the work so I contacted them.

From the beginning they were very polite, professional and easy to work with. They can do the estimate virtually by satellite ( or?) images.

It will take some time for the lawn to be great, but already there is improvement.

All their services and prices are very clear to understand and I appreciate all the options.

We have had great success in using Century Lawn and Landscape for our lawn and bed maintenance as well as special landscape projects. Kyle, Jenna and their teams are professional, knowledgeable and excellent on follow through. We've used them for over two years and are very pleased!

As new home owners, we aren’t used to taking care of a lawn. Mowing is easy but edging, taking care of the flower bed, keeping up with weeds, making sure it looks healthy through all seasons…these were all things I was not prepared for. Century makes it super easy to not have to worry about any of it, and our lawn looks amazing! 10/10 recommend them for anyone’s lawn care needs!
