Johnny from Top Choice was knowledgeable, informative and very professional. He walked me through the whole process , made sure all areas were receiving water and addressed the low water pressure by putting in the proper sprinkler heads. Highly recommend Johnny from Top Choice.

Johnny was friendly and communicative. He went to work right away, assessing the system, and discussed all recommendations with me. He answered my questions and was able to add a head to some new plants we just installed. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve have a very good experience with Top Choice. Their crew never misses their schedule day and they take care of the yard very well. They also are very careful with flowerbeds, plants, etc. The administrative staff is also very responsive and helpful.

For the fourth year in a row the Top Choice team installed holiday lights on our house. The team is awesome every year and this year’s team was exceptional. We got just what we wanted with timers in all the right places. Thank you Top Choice, and thank this year’s team for us.

I've been using Top Choice for several years and they always do a great job. I especially like that they clean up the grass clippings that get on my driveway and patio areas. I do periodically check their grass cutting rates against the competition and have always found them competitive.

I love everything about Top Choice. They come and do their job quick and say hello to me in the window when I’m working…. Clean up well after their mess. One day I knocked over a potted plant and they were here already and had just finished their job. I made a mess. They came and helped me clean up and blew off my mess w their blower. I also love how it’s so easy to communicate on their website and text. Thank yall!

I’ve used Top Choice for my lawn care since I moved to Austin six years ago. Since then, they have done my regular lawn care, replaced trees and shrubs that didn’t make it through the last deep freeze and even installed a dry riverbed in my back yard that solved the drainage problems I had during heavy rain.

Michael is my crew chief, and I couldn’t be more happy with the service that he and his crew provide. Their communication is excellent. I can depend on the crew being here when scheduled, and know that my yard will look great when they leave.

We are new to Top Choice. So far we have enjoyed working with the staff, especiallyJohn who is always available if I have questions. The crew has done a great job of mowing the way I like it cut and trimmed. (ask for Jonathan)

We came from Agave, and I had so much hope with them, but they didn’t like to communicate, or care. You’d get the strangest, dismissive, confusing communications from the account manager or the office manager.

These guys at Top Choice, I think they’re also called Emerald Lawns, have come to the rescue exactly where we needed. No contracts, consistently observant and warm communcations, and a great hard product.

For instance, they come to your yard with a riding mower, in a moving truck. They work on your lawn not for any specific period of time, but as long as they see the need to stay which is often double the time of competitors. The edging and blowing are commercial-level, and I see them really looking at the lawn constantly to see the overall appeal and function. That Matters.

During the most recent fertilizer treatment, we had a locked backyard and they made every attempt to contact us until it was unlocked and the job was done. After, I received an email with extremely detailed notes like from a college professor about our lawn and the work done.

And of course who doesn’t love the emails. They’re solid gold to new homeowners, and every time I contract them for another service I feel like we’re old friends looking after a lawn that belongs to both of us. When we ordered a levelling project, they told us that it’d be inordinately costly, to wait for our dressing application and see if we like it. Behold the dressing application was so customized and applied well that it’s practically leveled our gumbo soil in many places.

If a lawn care company can make you get emotional, it’s this one. All hearts to the owner and everybody that he hires.

I got an alert from my ATX Smartwater on gallons used and knew I needed help quickly. I chose Top Choice for my irrigation needs a second time because our first experience with Johnny was great. This time it was Johnny with Dylan and things seem to have run smoothly despite my being unavailable. Communication with Top Choice, whether by email or through the portal, is sufficient to get the job done right. Johnny and Dylan came out, adjusted my controller to my specs, reported back on the total run times for the programs and found and repaired leaks. All this and great communication! I continue to find that Top Choice works hard from Vanessa to Johnny to the team manager to the consistent lawn crews. I’ve used every service they offer now, I think, over the last 5 years.

Quickly and professionally finish the job. Usually 3 folks working in parallel on different things. So the noise from the mowing is reduced. And they also blow away the dust on the sidewalk and driveway after work.

Overall very satisfied!
