This place is not recommended at all. Several no shows at appointment times and 1 no call no show. They never make sure the issue is actually fixed when they leave. There have been parts ordered and not installed. And the washer still isn’t working correctly. I’ve tried several times to get in contact with management but no one calls back.

F i could give ZERO STARS I would..

I'd NEVER ask for their business. The lady on the phone told me one thing and the repair guy said another. I paid only because you can get fined for not paying.... Now I'm dealing with my bank. Updates in the near future.

Micah is very knowledgeable and polite. He kept me informed of his arrival time.

Absolutely horrible experience and will never use again.

I scheduled a service call to fix a broken refrigerator.
First - the estimated arrival time is from 7 am to 6pm.

Richard S. Was supposed to be coming.

He came (long enough to drive by my mailbox, take a picture then report "no one was home")

I dont have dogs, no locked gates-- and no reason he couldn't tell someone WAS home - with 3 vehicles in the driveway and room to park 3 more if you wanted to.

He never even pulled into my driveway (check my ring camera for that one).

There is NO manager you can get ahold of to talk to about the issues. The "chat" service on their website is all artifical intelligent bots.

When I did finally talk to someone (at least I think I was chatting with a real person)
They said the tech can't come back today they'd have to reschedule it for a later date.

No thank you. I'd rather give my business to someone else.

Showed up later than scheduled. Once the technician arrived he was very professional. Unfortunately the problem was not fixed. After I called back to see about why it’s still not working they want to CHARGE me ANOTHER diagnostic fee to find a problem that should have been found the first time.

Josiah was one of the best repairman I've ever had to help me. Although my warranty wouldn't follow through, he took time to explain to me what was going on with my refrigerator. He was pleasant, punctual, patient and just a really good person. Person. I will have him back again I hope. Thank you so much

This company is terrible and I will never use them again. The entire process took 8 weeks for a simple fix! I had to purchase a new refrigerator in the meantime. The first technician came out, I paid him $75 and he said he ordered the parts but apparently never did. Felt like a scam! And every time I called it was a joke! I never got the same answer and they stopped answering calls from my phone number. I called from another number and was able to get through. Every time you call it is at least a 30 min wait. The information they gave me each call was never the same, one person said the parts were on a dock somewhere, or they were backordered, etc. The truth was that they were never ordered. There is no management either. Everyone I talked to said they were the “manager.” They never refunded my $75 and the entire company is VERY shady.
Note: The last technician, Micah was excellent and this review doesn’t reflect him at all.

Philip was great. Very honest. Repair will cost nearly as much as a new washer

The tech was respectful but did not do the job correctly. He took longer than stated and then told us our dryer would work correctly until we had the ducts cleaned as it wasn't getting hot enough. That didn't sound right to me because it was working fine before the problem but I told him I understood and he left. I then paid a company $200 to come and clean my dryer duct to still have it not heating correctly. When the second tech from sears came today he found that the first repair tech hadn't reconnected the internal dryer components correctly and that's why it wasn't working. I think the first guy knew something wasn't right but didn't want to spend any more time looking into why and it was his fault to begin with. And now on top of paying him $450 I spend another $200 that wasn't necessary. Super unhappy but glad the second tech today found and fixed the problem. I am also glad that he was honest with me about the mistake the first tech made.

Tried to schedule a visit. Told the gentleman on the phone I needed it after a certain time. "Sure no problem! I'll make a notation to be there after said time" technician shows up 45mim early when I'm not home. Definitely won't be doing business with this company again. It's a stain on the good name Sears used to represent.

The service we received overall was poor not necessarily by the technician, although we can’t get a phone number for him and cannot seem to get in contact with him. Our daughter was home alone so we were expecting someone to reach out and give us updates and we cannot get any information. We tried to call Sears home services and the person we talked to told us information that is different Then what is on the Home Warranty website so we don’t know why our whole entire unit would have to be replaced because of a leak it should be able to be repaired. But we cannot seem to get a hold of anyone and we’ve asked multiple time for the technician’s number and they gave us someone else’s number named Louise.. And this says it was Kyle so I have no idea who even came out, but I know that we are not satisfied with the lack of communication and that we don’t even know what’s going on.

Good customer service, update: refrigerator still not working properly even after part that was diagnosed, ordered, and installed. Hopefully will update after next visit.

WOW is all I can say about Phillip C. We were electronically kept informed of appointment and estimated arrival time. He took off his shoes, or asked my husband if he should take off his shoes. Phillip asked me to start at the beginning and tell him what took place with my washer and what I did to solve issue on my own. Then if went to laundry room. Running test and explaining everything what he was doing to my husband. I left the men alone and when they called me - it was fixed. We were complimented on the condition of all our GE appliances based on their age. We were explained and offered a warranty plan which we chose to decline. No high pressure. I will be calling the same 1-800 # if needed in the future asking for Phillip C. Tech #5967.

I need to speak to a real person. Every time I call for service I can only get AI. I want to speak to the warranty department because my unit is still under warranty. The tech wrote an estimate and I didn't accept it because I was on vacation at the time. But now I want to get the work done and I cannot get the service order. I also need the warranty coverage resolved. Very very poor service if you need to discuss anything. If you want to make an appointment for service and pay for it at the time of service then no problem. But if you have questions or are warranty issue you are out of luck. I'm very disappointed.

Alberto did an outstanding job repairing my refrigerator/freezer. He was also very courteous and a great representative of Sears Home Services.

The issue with my new Kenmore Elite top-of-the-line dishwasher is the noise level.
It is clearly running above the 42db as advertised. I have the dB readings to measure that level objectively.
The Sears tech manager today said it was not as loud as theirs at home and that it sounded okay to him, after two previous Sears techs had said it was much louder than expected.
Today, this “okay noise level” was determined after an “express wash” run. He was unwilling to stay and listen to the dishwasher run through a complete cycle, which generates more noise.
None of the techs were equipped with dB meters to measure the noise objectively. So, based on one person's “opinion,” I am left with a noisy and bothersome dishwasher that does not meet the advertised specifications, which I will replace with another brand, and will not purchase Kenmore or use the Sears techs for any maintenance

Harold was very professional. He has a very pleasant demeanor. He fixed my dishwasher in no time. It's working great now!
