Ashford Mechanical is my GO-TO HVAC company for all of my rental properties, and my personal home. They have fixed every problem I have had since I first hired them, and I have used them at least 7-10 times by now.

Great experience today getting regular maintenance done on my HVAC at home. The service technician, Kris, was on-time, professional and thorough. Thanks for providing great service! I look forward to using you guys going forward!

I have used Ashford Mechanical for Three years he has never done a bad job. To count he has worked on 15 houses for me. Always prompt and fairly priced.

Horrible company, horrible person. This person came to my house to give me a quote for work. I honestly felt like he was casing my place to steal from it later. He was eyeing all my valuables and made my wife and kids super uncomfortable. AND he seemed to have no clue what he was talking about. I asked him basic questions about my AC unit and he couldnt answer, he seemed clueless. He gave me a verbal quote, when I asked for it in writing he said he didnt have any paper. Very unprofessional. Also, he used vulgar language in front of my wife and I. We couldnt get this person out of our home fast enough. I wouldn't use this person ever. Beware.

Gee if I could leave 0 stars I would. They supposedly serviced my indoor unit in March 2021 and say they changed the filter yet the date on the filter is from August 2020. My unit won't drain and now my hallway is flooded and they apparently can't come until Wednesday and I'm supposed to not use it until then. They also installed a unit in our outdoor office. That hasn't ever worked. Guess what?! That flooded too! What did they do? Not a thing! But don't worry, they didn't have any trouble taking our money. We called them over 10 times and yet they never fixed it. Cool right! Now that we called them on their lies, they've decided to end our service contract. But we're getting that money back but not for anything else, so I guess that's nice. What a great group! Seriously wondering if they're even qualified to work on AC. Wouldn't surprise me if they weren't. Save yourself the time, touble, and lots of money and don't use these people. Hopefully they see this because y'all are the worst. Fear not! I'm going to tell everyone I know!

Edit: Part of their service plan is to change the filter. We have this in writing. The filter was not changed as we were told it was. I doubt they even looked at it considering it was also upside down. We have the filter which has the date August 2020 on it. We did not even live here at that time. They claim to have changed it when they did their service in March 2021. The unit did not freeze and that is not what caused the leak. There was a problem with the drainage. Not that this company would know as they were not the ones to fix it. The filter was not the issue, it was just proof of a job poorly done. We were lucky enough that another company was able to come out that night and fix the issue so we did not have to wait 4 days (without air conditioning) for this company to come. That gentleman also said that forgetting to change the filter for that short a time (if it had actually been changed in March like this companyclaims they did) would not have caused this issue, but again, the filter was not the issue. I'll apologize for being snippy in the first part of this review but this company has failed repeatedly to deliver quality service.

Jake came over right away and got us squared away, professional, trustworthy and efficient. Also gave us a better deal compared to the other guys, will definitely use again, thank you!

I use Ashford exclusively for my HVAC. Every visit has been on time and they have been able to repair my systems with a good price. I will definitely be using them for installing new units when the time comes to upgrade.

Great service! Very knowledgeable, diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed a major problem with the AC that same day. Arrived early. Would highly recommend for your air conditioning needs.

Jake and his team had a new system installed in less then 24hrs after he came to give us a bid on a new system! He was very up front, honest and didn't try to take advantage of us by trying to sell us something that we didn't need. That wasn't the case with his competitors. I will be referring him to all my friends and family.

It's the hottest day of the year and we called like 15 different HVAC companies and they were all booked out for a few days. Ashford was at our office in like an hour and had us fixed and cooled off in about 15 minutes. I strongly recommend Ashford.

I've dealt with several HVAC companies and had some really broad experiences (read: really bad). Ashford Mechanical has been by far been the best - my go-to HVAC company for all my properties.. They've addressed tons of issues on new installs (by other companies) and has came out and replaced equipment and is always clean, answers all questions, and always tried to save the customer from unneeded costs, has always been responsive and they aren't happy unless the customer is happy and comfortable! Ashford Mechanical is a family business with values that many companies and people lack these days. And because of all these things.. I won't call anyone else after having found Ashford Mechanical. Has my business forever!

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Simply THE BEST AC people I have ever encountered in 20+ years living in Texas. Honest, straightforward, clear and able to communicate all the options available to me, with an understanding of the consequences and benefits of each choice. Not only do I have working AC at minimum expense but the load off my mind in terms of what could happen given any choice I make, is like free beer at a BBQ with a ride home afterwards. Don't bother with anybody else, these guys are the champs.

My wife and I were had been dealing with a faulty AC/Heating unit for months , and we were so tired of getting the run around from other companies . Chris from Ashford came out to look at our system he was straight forward with us and they did a amazing job fixing our system. They went to war for us with our warranty company and got everything we needed covered !!! Great Guys Great Company

Jake sent a couple of guys to install our AC unit and he never came with them to check their work. We have had so many issues with the unit. I called him and he came with the guys to fix things but it was just never right. I am now dealing with a non-cooling AC upstairs. I called Jake, texted him and left him VM, no return. I am so disappointed and I would never use his service.

If you use Ashford Mechanical you want Dustin. He came to my house and was great company he was professional and polite I am happy with what he did and who he was as a person. Thank you for all your help I recommend this company entirely!!

Contacted Ashford Mechanical about some recommended HVAC work from another company that was charging a bit much. Jake was very helpful, answering all my questions I had through out the day (very prompt) and was able to get me a better deal. I had Jake replace the entire AC system on one of my rental properties and it was effortless on my end. I will definitely be having Jake take care of all my future HVAC needs. Highly recommended!

We moved a few years ago and immediately had problems with HVAC. Two repair companies made several repair and diagnostic visits, but problems persisted and Ashford was the third repair service I had out to look at the same unit. Well they too could not get the heat going, and when the guys returned for a closer look they discovered that six of the eight safety mechanisms had previously been disabled! Not only was this unit not blowing heat, but it was a giant safety hazard running in my house for two years! Apparently the prior repair services missed all the signs, or ignored them and didn’t bother to let me know about the dangerous situation sitting above my kid’s bedrooms. So thankful Jake and his great service techs came out when they did. Replaced the unit and even helped me work with my insurance company. Can’t say enough good things about Ashford Mechanical!

They replaced 3 old ac units. Their bid was lower than the other bid and I got higher seer units. They also addressed two different safety issues the other contractor missed. We were having company over the weekend and a delay in shipping the units was causing us to go the weekend without air. Without asking, they came out to try and get the old unit to run until the parts arrived on Monday. Who does that? Outstanding service. I highly recommend!!!

Jacob did what he said he was going to do, on time and on budget. A fair price, excellent workmanship and, when an ‘extra’ he did for free turned out to be more work than anticipated, didn’t charge anything more to do it. A nice guy too! I’d happily do business with Ashford Mechanical again.

Jacob Ashford performed an HVAC inspection in connection with a real estate transaction. His inspection was very thorough and professional. He was available on a short notice, went out of his way to complete this inspection and provided me with an excellent report of his inspection. I highly recommend this very capable technician for all your HVAC needs.
