Reviews of local pros in Benbrook, Texas

This is an amazingly talented group. Artistic, experienced, efficient and honest. Josh communicates well and is responsive to questions and concerns. Everyone associated with the company was just amazing.

JCustomLands work speaks for itself! The team combines artistry and excellent craftsmanship with a good work ethic. They are reliable, hardworking, and respectful of your wishes and vision. I highly recommend this company for your landscaping needs. Well worth their price!

Josh did an awesome job on our veranda and deck. We asked him to be creative and he built a work of art! We couldn’t be happier.
During the entire process, he communicated with us every step of the way. We give him the highest possible recommendation.

We took a chance on this company after searching for someone to build a large deck for our above ground pool. SO GLAD we found them. The owner was always on site - always available if we had questions and his crew was by far the most professional we have ever seen. The work they did was fantastic and we will be using JCUSTOMLANDS OUTDOOR LIVING for future projects.

We have been working with Josh and his team now for a few years on various projects. They are very respectful of our property, communicative, and just good friendly folks. Always a pleasure doing business with this company. Thanks!

Josh and his amazing crew did a beautiful job on our back patio re-do. Our poor drainage issues have been resolved, and we absolutely love the new beds, along with the covered BBQ area. My wife was hoping for a fountain, and we ended up with three. (Happy wife, happy life!)

This is the third time we’ve hired Josh and his crew in the last few years. They installed a French drain for us a few years ago, and also completely redid our front yard two years ago. We have future projects in mind, and know we’ll be calling on Josh again in the future. Give him a call. You’ll be glad you did.

Josh and his entire team created a well built 1,000 sqft deck for our church's community center and we couldn't be any happier on how it turned out. They were on time, on budget and extremely professional throughout the process. I would highly recommend them for creating a first class Trex deck for your home, business or church.

Great landscaping company! The crew was courteous, professional, and did a fantastic job. They exceeded my expectations!

Josh replied to my inquiry nearly immediately. He was very responsive - coming to site, visiting with me, and providing quote quickly. Loved his crew - they were very professional and stayed on the job until completed. I am very pleased with my new pool-side deck. I would gladly use them again.

We are so pleased with the way our new deck looks. It exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much.

The only deck contractor you need to call. Josh and the team (Wes, Justin, and the rest) were very are knowledgeable, highly skilled, courteous and great communicators. Took our vision and crafted it. We had to make changes after starting to extend an area and that was no issue for the team, Highly recommend, worth the wait.

I reached out to Joshua over Thanksgiving with concerns about a covered patio where some joists had shifted. Joshua responded quickly and scheduled a time to assess the issue. He provided a temporary fix to address the problem until his crew could come out and complete the job properly. They finished the work yesterday and did an amazing job! I will definitely turn to Joshua and his team for any future needs!

Josh was prompt in responding to my initial inquiry and was patient with all my questions and requests. He was also flexible in scheduling to meet our availability. When the scheduled day for our project came around the crew was professional and they did the job right! Will definitely recommend to others and will contact Josh again for any other outdoor projects we need help with!

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Josh and the entire team were excellent - very knowledgeable and professional. They were thoughtful in coming up with different solutions for our deck, and executed with great attention to detail and high quality. Very communicative throughout, which was appreciated. Would highly recommend for any project!

Josh and his crew are true craftsmen. They started deck project for me and then were patient and engaged as I expanded the scope multiple times - to include a pergola, a fence, and more. They didn't stop until every detail was done. I highly recommend their work.

Josh and his team did a wonderful job on our deck! We replaced an existing deck with a composite deck, but it was more complicated than that as they had to tie it in with a surrounding fence. They also had to replace all of the footings and sub-structure, so it was a complete rebuild. The deck they built may last longer than our house! And it looks great too! Josh’s crew, led by Mace, was friendly and professional. I would recommend JCustom Deck to anyone wanting a quality deck built at an affordable price!

STRONGLY recommend Josh and his team!! Finished my pergola in 2 days and it looks better than I even imagined! I showed an inspo picture, and they handled the rest! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

This company is a rare combination value (quality + cost). They are upfront with costs and their crews are solid with attention to detail. I highly recommend Josh and his crew for custom projects.

We couldn’t be happier with the incredible job this construction company did on our hot tub deck! The attention to detail, especially with the beautiful curves and ultra-modern design, exceeded all our expectations. They turned what could have been a simple deck into something that looks like it belongs in a designer magazine.

The team was extremely professional, kept everything on schedule, and delivered the project on budget—a rare combination these days. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it shows in every detail.

If you’re looking for quality craftsmanship and a team that brings your vision to life, I highly recommend them. We’ll definitely use them again for future projects.

Josh and his crew did a great job replacing our deck. They were timely and worked a full day. They all worked hard, were very friendly, and answered all my questions. They cleaned up the job site so well you couldn't even tell they had been there. We are very pleased with our experience & highly recommend JCustomLands Outdoor Living!

We have trusted JCustom for over ten years with everything outdoor related at our home.

They have done a Pergola covered patio, second floor balcony with spiral staircase, a ten foot retaining wall, rod iron fence, automatic gate and every bit of landscaping/sprinkler work that accompanied those projects.

The biggest difference that Josh and JCustom brings to a job is honesty and a commitment to getting it right. Every suggestion has been spot on, while at the same time offering all options, allowing the homeowner to be the final word.

It’s rare to say that you have had no disappointments in multiple construction projects over a decade. I attribute that to Josh’s integrity and his ability to build and keep the best team! Five star review, not one complaint!
