My project included installation of multiple planting beds around the fence of my backyard, along the house's foundation, and filling in a low spot with yard soil. The planting beds included removing the grass, laying landscaping fabric, garden soil, steel edging, planting trees/shrubs and finally applying mulch.

I scheduled a day/time to meet with the owner of the company, Johnny Garcia, to discuss my project. I gave Johnny a list of everything I was looking for and we discussed some of my needs i.e. hide electrical box. Johnny gave me some good advice on plant selection, which I decided to go with. Johnny was able to purchase the landscaping materials for me at a discounted rate, which saved me the trouble of picking up or arranging delivery and paying retail for all of the materials. He gave a written estimate, which I agreed to. We scheduled a day for the project. Johnny was constantly in communication with me regarding plant selection, project status, and change orders.
The team that showed up were friendly and efficient. Johnny sought my approval for plant placement, which ensured the plants wound up exactly where I envisioned them.
They did beautiful work! They had some extra mulch left over so the Supervisor, Ray, asked if they could mulch my beds up front (the project was in the back yard). Of course, I agreed (Bonus!). I am very happy with the work that they did and look forward to using them in the future for additional landscaping or exterior lighting projects.

I recently had the great pleasure of working with Johnny and Blades of Glory on a landscaping project for my newly built home. From the good reviews I had read, I had high expectations for the company's service and product, and I am happy to say they delivered.

From my first call, Johnny was extremely polite and knowledgable about the kinds of plants and shrubbery that would thrive in our hot Texas summers. On his first visit, he let talked to me about the advantages of xeriscaping, and how it would be better for my home in the long run.

I accepted the company's quote and they got started on my project about 2 weeks later. The Blades of Glory crew showed up at the time they said, and got to work immediately. They were extremely efficient and extremely clean. I had them completely landscape my backyard, which included some leveling of an area on the side of my home. The project was completed in two working days.

The work Johnny and his team performed for me was top notch. I absolutely love walking on to my back patio and looking out on my beautifully landscaped yard (it doesn't hurt knowing that it's low maintenance, too!). I would recommend Blades of Glory to anyone looking to transform their home's landscaping. I'm certain there isn't a team out there that is more professional and knowledgable.

This is a great company and the third time I've used them. They did everything they said they would do at a fair price. Victor and his crew did an amazing landscaping job. They were efficient, hard working, and neat. I highly recommend this company. Not only for doing a great job in a timely manner, but because they are honest and reliable which is hard to find these days.

Johnny and his guys did a great job! Had several things that needed to get done from fencing to top dressing and they did a top notch job on them all. For landscaping needs this is a great company that I would recommend using.

Johnny came out and inspected my sprinkler system to make sure they were working correctly as part of the City of Boerne's Irrigation System Consultation Rebate. Made a couple adjustments to make sure my system was working its best.

Johnny and his team did an outstanding job carrying out an initial landscape establishment for our new home build. He was incredibly responsive and intent on making sure everything was done right. Johnny helped get the process started by referring us to a fabulous landscape designer, Renee Buchanan.
She created the vision with input from us, but being from out of state, we needed a lot of help with selections that would work for this area. Renee also helped us navigate through POA requirements for our neighborhood which made the process so much easier.
I also appreciated having a number of “walking” meetings where all of us walked the yard to discuss specific needs and wants. All the upfront time and effort resulted in Johnny’s team doing a magnificent job executing the plan!
I can’t recommend Johnny, Renee, and the Blades of Glory team highly enough. They paid great attention to detail, ensured that all POA rules were followed, arrived on time, and worked tirelessly to make sure all work was done well – all for a very fair and reasonable price. We even called Johnny back for a “Phase 2” job months later!
If you need a team dedicated to quality work, you will be very happy with Blades of Glory.

We needed a big yard clean up and Blades of Glory did an excellent job for us. They cleaned up the plants we asked about and also knew what else needed trimming. The yard looks so much nicer. They hauled away lots of plant debris. They arrived a little early and got to work right away. We definitely recommend them!

I hired Blades of Glory to install stone borders around my plant beds and replace the mulch with rock in the front of my house. Johnny was very responsive to the initial request and came over within a week for an estimate. He even came back a week before the install to confirm a few questions and changes I had to my original request. His team showed up early in the morning and got right to work. They were very professional and cleaned up each evening before they left. They did excellent work and I know I will use them again to build some flagstone walkways in my backyard.

Johnny, Victor and staff did a terrific job repairing our irrigation system. Even when they experienced some challenges, they figured it out and completed the repair. They also did some follow up maintenance at no additional charge. Super friendly and communicative throughout. Will definitely be using them again.

Johnny repaired our backflow device for our inspection. We found him on the Fair Oaks Ranch approved vendors list for backflow inspections. He provided 5 star service and pricing! Very professional and polite. Going to have him back to check our sprinklers in the Spring.
