Sunday morning, a little after 5 AM my wife woke me up yelling that our roof was being tore off!… Actually most of what she heard was the shingles being tore off our next-door neighbors home.

I went outside to see what was going on and saw his first,… then I thought I better go to the south side of my home and see what it’s looks like. I could see the shingles flapping up and down in the air from the sheer winds.

I knew we were in trouble right away!… The Lord kept the rain away, and all we got was the wind damage that morning, but rain was forecast for later that evening and for the next few days.

As soon as I saw the damage, I called Mike Salazar (my wife and I had met while walking in our neighborhood a few years ago).

He had lead us to a company to put on solar panels a couple of years ago. And was a roofer himself. He had moved out of state to take care of family. But when I called, he immediately hooked me up with Queen Bee Roofing close to where we live.

I called Shelly early Sunday morning and she called right back… By afternoon Sunday she had a crewman out to assess the damage and get tarp coverage over it all.

This is Sunday morning on memorial day weekend! What a blessing to be directed to a Christian businesswoman!

I called queen bee roofing to go out to my in laws house since they had a leak coming through their roof from all the rain and they showed up the next day to get them all fixed up. They didn’t try to sell them a new roof like previous companies and they were able to fix the leak with a few simple repairs. They were very honest and reasonable. I can't tell you how amazing this company is! When they say, "royal treatment" they aren't kidding! Shelly goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the process, makes sure your home/windows are protected and yard is cleaned up after the roof install. Queen Bee Roofing came out to assess our damage for free I might add and she was very honest and gave us a few options on what we could depending on our budget. She was even mentioned us getting other estimates and such to compare. She did get two to her estimates and went with her. She had team out here asap and I mean asap (mind you we weren’t a whole big paying job like a new roof. We just had shingle repairs), but she treated us like she would any other job no matter the price. She was fast, efficient, did a beautiful and amazing job! Highly recommended her and her team

Shelly walked us through the entire process. She took a survey of our roof, made an estimate, and then met with the insurance adjuster. All in a prompt and professional manner. Our roof is metal and TPO. The Queen Bee crew had no problem replacing it on the house and the shop in just a few days. I’m glad I found them.

I contacted Queen Bee Roofing because it’s women owned, and I felt more comfortable dealing with a woman. I had a few other roofing companies come out and give me quotes, one of them telling me that he couldn’t give an estimate until he saw my insurance amount, and that really put a bad taste in my mouth. Shelly came out personally, inspected my roof and collected drone footage also. She emailed an estimate and breakdown of everything within an hour. Roofing crew showed up before the sun rose and she stopped by to check on their work throughout the day. Also love that her Project Manager is a woman as well, and any questions I had for the crew, she would address and provide feedback. I told her that I wanted to keep my roof very dark, like the color it was, and she provided a beautiful new black roof.

I used her company twice and both times I was satisfied and made me feel comfortable with my decision to proceed with the repair. She is flexible, time efficient and courteous. When I needed to reschedule due to unforeseen family issues, she was understanding and considerate to my needs. Okay, the best for last she is experienced in her field, willing to talk with insurance companies on your behalf or inform you with the right questions to ask your provider, while communicative with important information to the process. Shelly's company is affordable comparing to other companies in my area. I plan on using her services again in the near future to update my entire roof and YOU should too!
