If you need a roofing and gutter contractor, this is the company to use! They work directly with your insurance company to get the best claim amount possible. The professionalism of all workers was great. They showed up on time to lay the roof and install the gutters. They were quick and efficient. They picked up all the remnants that were from the roof removable and installation. I was very impressed with how fast the roof and gutters were installed. After the installation, the salesman came to confirm everything was done as expected.

These contractors have been amazing! They have helped me and my mom tremendously with renovations on our house. We recently had a new roof installed, from “Home Over general contractors” and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. They clearly explained the process, provided a fair and detailed estimate, and kept us informed throughout the project. The workmanship was top-notch, and the crew took great care to protect our property and clean up thoroughly afterward. The new roof looks fantastic and has already made a noticeable difference. This company – HomeOver- buys distressed houses at very low prices – makes them look pretty – and puts them on the market at very high prices as though they are premium homes!!

They do not live in them and - if there are any unknown problems that can only be discovered by moving into them and living there for awhile – they therefore are not disclosed at closing – and only later discovered by the unsuspecting new home owner!!

When the new homeowner experiences these major problems and reaches out to this company to repair the problems – they either say they are not liable because they were NOT aware of the problems and the buyer accepted the home “AS IS” – OR they just ghost the new homeowner with no response to calls or emails, etc.

This is what my daughter and her husband are experiencing with this company right now!

I helped my daughter and her husband buy their very first home and it is one that HomeOver bought- very cheaply – dressed up - and flipped.

Over the past few months there have been several major plumbing problems including multiple sewage backups which required excavation of pipes in the yard and replacement of defective cleanouts.

The most severe problem was:

The first thing they noticed - after moving in - was a very strong musty smell (typical with black mold - we later learned) and the constant high humidity in the master closet.

My son-in-law placed DampRid in the master closet and it quickly filled with water.

My daughter noticed there was a metal projection with a cap on it sticking out of the wall in the master closet.

They called a plumber and he said it was a sewer cleanout!!

The first thing they tried was to replace the cap because it was very loose.

That did not stop the issues.

They came back and opened up the area of the wall where the clean out was, removed the projection and made it go straight up in the wall.

That, also, did not stop the awful smell and humidity.

That is when Calvary Remediation was called to come and scope the entire wall in the master closet that had the sewer clean out in it.

Calvary Remediation discovered several leaks inside the wall and black mold!!

My daughter (who is in remission from lung cancer) told us that over the several months after moving in that her health had been deteriorating and she was afraid that the lung cancer was coming back.

Tyler with Calvary Remediation, after discovering the black mold, advised her to sleep in the guest room and avoid the closet.

She did and started feeling better!

Calvary Remediation was hired to remove all the black mold.

You need to understand how Calvary Remediation handled the black mold remediation.

The very first thing Calvary Remediation did was to take down all the clothes in the master closet and place them in big black garbage bags because they were saturated with black mold spores - as evidenced by the awful musty smell.

When clothes become saturated with black mold spores, there are two choices, either throw them all away OR have them professionally cleaned by a company that specializes in black mold remediation for clothes.

Since Calvary Remediation does not do mold remediation to affected clothes, they suggested either SERVPRO or Kites cleaners to do the mold remediation of their clothes.

Kites cleaners was chosen because they were less expensive that SERVPRO.

The next two steps in the three step process of black mold remediation are:

(2) the removal of all mold contaminated building material and sanitizing the room.

(3) the replacement of the contaminated building material.

HomeOver at first ghosted us when asked to take care of all of the remediation.

It took threatening a major lawsuit to get them to respond.

They have since then had the building material removed and replaced BUT are refusing to pay for the black mold remediation of their clothes.

They are once again ghosting us (NOT RESPONDING)!!!

They have forced us to resort to litigation to compel them to pay for the cleaning of the black mold out of all their affected clothes.

We recently had our roof replaced by HomeOver Contractors. We could not be more pleased with the experience from start to finish.
