We had such a great experience working with Layne! She helped us pick out the perfect plants and a beautiful fountain for our front yard. Her knowledge of plants is truly impressive, and she went above and beyond to make sure we found exactly what we needed. Layne was so friendly, patient, and made the whole process easy and fun. Definitely ask for Layne when you go — she’ll take great care of you!

People that know me as a crazy plant lady. I love all plants ,seeds and anything plant related. Well when I go out of town I usually try to find garden center or nursery. Over this holiday weekend I google to see where the closest one was and Calloway's came up. This place was so awesome and they really take care of the plants. Their workers at all their different positions were super helpful and knowledgable about everything there. I was so excited to find my Staghorn fern I have been searching the longest time for. There prices were so reasonable and less than than the big box places.

This Calloway's locations is amazing. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The manager, Josh, is amazing - he recently helped us find the perfect garden centerpiece (bird bath) and then carried it to the car for us (unnecessary, but nice touch!)

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to share my exceptional experience at Calloways and with Layne. After moving here from out of state a year ago, I started visiting Calloways every Sunday after church. I first met Layne about a year ago, and her knowledge and expertise in helping me establish my indoor plants was second to none. I consider myself to have a decent green thumb, but she really helped me understand the plants I was buying and the care they needed.

Fast forward to the summer of 2024, I still go to Layne for everything. I just put new sod in my yard this spring and was ready to plant my flowerbeds. Layne helped me choose the most beautiful flowers and arranged for them to be professionally installed. I can't say enough about her customer service and her passion for plants. Calloways always has the best quality plants and products, and they even guarantee all the plants you buy from them, which is incredible.

I 100% recommend Calloways, and if you visit the Carrollton location, ask for Layne. I promise you won’t be disappointed with her service and expertise. Thank you so much, Layne! Here are some pictures of my finished flowerbeds and before sod and plants. I didn't take pictures of all the plants I bought, but trust me, I have a plethora of them, and they are all healthy and thriving. I have only lost a few and thankfully they are all replaced by Calloways! Worth the money you spend here!

I recently visited Calloway's Nursery in Carrollton, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. Their selection is truly impressive, featuring a huge variety of annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, roses, and herbs. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, you'll find everything you need here.

What really stood out to me was the exceptional assistance I received from Layne Riley, the Nursery Department Manager. She helped me pick the perfect plants for my flower bed and demonstrated an impressive knowledge of all the different plant varieties and their tolerance to the Texas heat. Her expertise and friendly demeanor made the entire process enjoyable and informative.

If you're looking for a top-notch nursery with a fantastic selection and knowledgeable staff, I highly recommend Calloway's Nursery in Carrollton. I'll definitely be returning for all my gardening needs!

At some of the big box stores for DIY, I may have gotten lucky with a check out clerk who knew a little bit about product. But here I got to interact with Sarah who has a graduate degree related to horticulture and had been working at Callaway's for six years!

Greeted me within seconds of me walking in and helped me every step of the way to find the perfect fertilizer for our situation, which was laying down a couple of pallets of new sod. Excellent guidance with relation to new roots and organic versus chemical.

    Highly recommend!!!

Joshua is an absolute delight! It’s too long and boring of an ordeal to burden whoever reads this with, but Joshua initiated fixing this issue without me asking for even expecting it to be rectified. In 2026 we are surrounded by low effort or mediocre effort by everyone . Joshua went above and beyond, like I haven’t seen in a store manager or employee in many years. Calloway’s would do well to heed my words. Joshua is way too valuable to be a store manager. He needs a reap leadership role. I’m a small business owner and I know a gift for leadership when I come across it. Well done , Joshua

Git ready, I have a great tale-to-tell: Been shopping at Calloway's Nursery on Parker (in Hebron) for the last year, since moving to Dallas; and have always enjoyed working with the ultra-helpful staff who will stop at nothing to support their customers, knowledge-transfer, make recommendations, and even entertaining the virtues of coffee grounds (you never feel rushed or pushed aside and they always proactively ask if you need help). And you can't beat the selection and warranty on purchases (it's worth the pricepoint). So, I finally made the decision to work with them to redesign my front yard with "hardy" plants that can survive and thrive in the Texas summers. I was referred and booked with Layne Riley to help me with the design. Instantly, when I met Layne (AKA, Layney), I knew I was in good hands; she has great taste, highly-highly knowledgeable (on plants, their growth rates, maint. requirements, watering, etc.), and her energy is amazing; she made it clear that it was all about me and what I wanted (she was consulting), she listened and worked with my budget. In my session to pick plants, she worked with what I wanted, and made introductions and recommendations (on what would thrive, endure, low maintenance of not growing too fast, etc.), and then offered the products for the root system (after planting). Then, there were the bursts of energy when she heard something I was thinking about, and she'd respond with a bounce and say "let me show you something!" and it was spot on; she showed me some plants that simply captured my imagination! So much so that I ended up doing an entire new section of my yard due to her amazing recommendations of shade-friendly plants that will sit outside my kitchen window. She was just amazing (and I declared, she's my new besty!). During every occasion when I met her, fellow patrons walked by hugging her, seeking advice, many saying "You're busy; I'll book some time with you later!" And others said "she did my yard; she's the best!" I can attest, Layney is the best! And the best part, this is just the beginning, she's my go-to guru from now on all things gardening and landscaping. Plus, the work Calloway's is doing comes with a lifetime guarantee! And don't get me started on my house plants and all the beautiful pots and metal plant holders I acquired as well... Calloway's Nursery on Parker is worth the pricepoint; the intelligent staff, exceptional customer service, inspired environment (I even bought a chime!), and unique selection of plants. I walk in inspired and walk out happy! Hands down, it beats the big box shops with the staff who don't know the difference between a perennial and annual and look blankly at you if you so much as ask a question... run, don't walk, to Calloway's on Parker and bask in the gorgeous energy of the staff and brilliance of Ms. Layney!

Always freshest and well cared for plants. Compare Hebron to Callaways, Ruibals and Hebron comes out on top.

Nice place, but like most right now in the heat hard to keep good plant inventory.
