Manuel was extremely polite, and pointed out exactly what he would be doing and how long it would take before pets/children could walk in the yard. Guys like Manuel and the results on my yard, are the reasons I’ve been a long-term TruGreen customer.

Over the past 2 years (since we have moved in), we have worked hard to bring our front yard up to a yard with some curb appeal. TruGreen has helped us maintain our work and the yard stands out on the block even with its combo of grasses. It's lush and deep green. We are so happy we made the decision to go with TruGreen.

My specialist Delroy at Branch 5344 does a professional job, answers questions I have and relays concerns I might have to his supervisor to ensure I remain a satisfied customer.
He takes the time to write my receipt of services letting, me know he heard me. These personal touches go a long way with customer satisfaction. A very nice and polite man.

The lawn is looking much better than last Summer. The Specialist, Jeramiah did a great job explaining the products and service he was going to provide. He did a great job! I will consider adding additional TruGreen services next Spring!

I give 4 stars due to the first tech they sent out. He was an hour and a half past the 5 hour window scheduled. Upon his arrival, he sat in the truck for another 20 minutes before approaching my door. He offered no apology or explanation for his misuse of my time.
The next tech they sent me was everything I expected. Courteous, professional, and prompt. Answered all my questions and asked probing questions of me to get an idea of what I wanted to do with my lawn. He shared some tips on how to achieve these results and got to work immediately. I'm hoping that he will be the tech for follow up visits.

We have been using TruGreen (formerly Chemlawn) for our lawn care needs at multiple homes since 1983. In all of these years, we have never been so happy with the specialist providing the services as we were on this occasion with Blake. He went the extra mile to treat every weed individually and fertilized the entire yard. No areas were neglected. Along with that, he was very pleasant and professional in his interactions with us. Also, we want to give our highest compliments to Senior Service Manager, Joe Sumpter. Whenever there has been a concern of any sort, he has always been available for phone calls and he goes above and beyond to ensure we remain happy with his team and TruGreen as a whole. He is also quite pleasant to interact with. Thank you, Joe and Blake, for making this such a positive experience for us!

Had Trugreen servicing my lawn for about a year. Horrible experience. The lawn is virtually unchanged. Over half is just dirt, the other half a grass/weed combo. Virtually every service receipt says "sprayed for pests", which is great, but after a year of service there should be much greater growth. I've spoken to three different higher-ups to rectify the problems in this time span, and nobody ever followed through. If you're considering lawn treatment RUN AWAY!!

We’ve been with True Green for numerous years and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the service and the results. We utilize all of True Green’s services. Great job.

My biggest mistake was to trust TruGreen and use their services for killing the weeds and improving our lawn. This goes back to 2023 when they signed me up for one year.
Not only was the lawn not improved, they also ruined, killed my 8 year old magnolia tree. After a number of follow ups they GM, Michael (Mike) came to see for himself. He was going to bring a tree from his supplier, we went with him and chose a tree, he said he would bring it the following weekend and plant it in our front yard. It’s been over a year and still nothing. Last time I called he was in a meeting, his staff told me he will call back. Still no call or follow up. Our weeds are much more than they were before any treatment. All in all a bad experience. Their techs are no trained. TruGreen’s specialty is ruining your laws.
I highly encourage you to not use TruGreen.

Your tech did a great job. Normally I am not home but this time I was and he explained to me about the different grasses I have and why he was applying special treatments to accommodate it. Great Job!

We've been using TruGreen for almost a year, but our experience has been nothing short of disastrous.

One week, they applied a pre-emergent treatment to our lawn—and then the very next day, followed it with a sulfur treatment. No type of grass could survive that kind of chemical overload. Even more frustrating, their own technicians admitted that sulfur was incompatible with our grass species and should never have been applied in the first place.

As if that weren’t enough, they planted their little TruGreen flags in our yard both days—as if to take credit for the healthy lawn I had cultivated myself before their treatments.

Within a week, our entire lawn was dead.

Since then, we’ve been living with a muddy mess. I’ve contacted customer service multiple times. Their techs have come out three separate times to confirm that, yes, the lawn is extremely damaged by the treatment. Yet, I still haven’t been connected with a service manager or offered any kind of resolution—no sod replacement, no refund, and no meaningful communication. I get calls every few days from another customer service rep that has no idea any of it is going on, but alas, has no authority to help, promising "a manager will contact you in a day"...then days...and weeks...go by.

Now I’m potentially out thousands of dollars just to fix the damage caused by their mistake.

Buyer beware: TruGreen guarantees their work, but what good is a guarantee if you can't reach anyone with the authority to make things right? Work with them at your own risk. I know I won't be working with them unless they make this right.

Update: TruGreen took it to heart that there was damage to my lawn, and made it right by bringing in sod to fix the areas killed by their treatment. They stood by their guarantee and now I can say I recommend them, heartily! Thank you, TruGreen!

Deante D was very thorough with my mosquito service. I really appreciate his attention to detail, especially in my backyard.

Beginning the spring, I was having significant issues with my lawn. I hired Trugreen to come and fix the problems. They have definitely fixed the lawn and it looks terrific. They also treat my shrubs and they’ve never looked better. If you’re thinking about a lawn service, you should definitely hire Trugreen.

I am very disappointed. I decided to outsource my lawn care. It has been 6 months. I still see number ow weeds sticking out. I call and they come retreat it and nothing works. The customer service are like robots they just go off the script without the ability to sympathize and look for solutions the only answer is some one will schedule retreaent. I am not renewing this very expensive service and I do not recommend for others to get it.

My yard looks amazing and my yard specialist Manuel continues to do a great job time and time again, as if my lawn were his.

The specialist came to perform the service was super friendly and a real nice guy.

The guy that services our property seems to care. The problem with TruGreen is one department often has no Idea what was agreed to with another department. Happens frequently and over the course of using TruGreen on 2 different occasions with about 2 yrs between firing and trying them one more time.
Miscomunication examples.
A. Agreed upon pricing.
B. To not do a particular service.
C. Not following directions as to the area of my yard to provide service to, my yard is 2.26 acres, even after going through the effort of drawing a clear map on an aerial picture and having one department, Sales, state the map and dirextions were very clear.
D. Interpretation of their contracts. One time service vs annual automatic renewal.
Ability to cancel the contract on a future date vs required to wait until all services are finished, forcing me to recontact TruGreen to cancel a service.
Giving very much of a feeling that they try what ever they can to keep you in a contract.
Specific example:
I refused an annual aeration service previously. I requested a One-time aearation service the next year. Sept 2025 they showed up with out my prior approval and performed this separate service. I found out about it when they attempted to collect approx $350 for a service that I did not request or have knowledge of. I explaned the scenario to their invoicing department and they said, they understood and would remove the due invouce for the unapproved aeration service. About 2 weeks later I got another call attempting to collect on the same invoice. I stated the previous conversation and settlement by TruGreen to remove the due amount. This person said she did not have access to the previous conversation. Then said she would talk with her supervisor while I was on hold, got back on the line with me and said they would accept 50% of the amount. Which I said absolutely not and I will not pay for a service I did not want or order, and I will need to talk with her supervisor. she put me on a brief hold, then got back on the phone and said they found the previous conversation & agreement. And I owed nothing. Then I inquired as to why they would send their service team out to perform an unrequested service and then she told me they have no "one time" services & every such request, such as my request the previous year, is auto matically turned into an annual contract and added to the existing plan. That's when I stated will not work with a company with such policies that drive their revenues at the cost of good relationships with their customers. She then said she can not precancel the contract when the season is over. They have one more winter service to perform in 3 weeks, I would be billed if they perform it or not. So I would have to call back after 3 weeks when the service is done to cancel my agrrement.
Forcing me to have to call back again if I wanted to cancel 2026 season.
Too many other good Lawn Services out there to tolerate being treated so poorly by TruGreen.

Every step of the way, from the bid to the payment process, was easy and informative. Every member of the US Tree Care team that I worked with was concerned with making sure I understood everything that was happening with my tree and why they were doing what they were doing to help me. I definitely plan on using them in the future for my other trees.

I have never met them or used them, but as a landscape consultant I found they gave the very same advice about a customer's tree that I did. It was honest, sound advice and I am so happy to find an arborist more interested in the customer than their own pocketbook, because that is not the norm!!! You can use them with confidence - I know I will, and I will also be recommending them to my customers.

I received 4 Qoutes from other Tree Removel Company's, including one I have used for Trimming my trees for years, before selecting US Tree Care. Not only were they the most reasonably priced, but their follow up, was the most professional of the other 3 and showed that they truly cared about wanting my business. They showed up the very next day 6to begin to remove a large 50 foot Live Oak and stump, between mine and my neighbors home and completed all work, including site clean up, all within a timely manner as promised. The Crewman, including Juan, Kevin, Ron and even the Owner Matt showed up to check on the job, were all very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I got a real kick out of watching them climb and work their way about and into the tree, to cut limbs. It takes a real mastery to do what they are capable of and several, including the Owner, even compete for in Professionally Tree Climbing Events, they proudly told me. You might even go as far as say that they have actual tree sapp coursing through their veins.

I would, without hesitation, recommend US Tree Care to anyone and plan on using them again, in the very near future.
