I Received a recommendation from my neighbor for Proven Plumbing. I needed my bathtub faucet replaced. I had a quote from another worker at another company who I had used before a buyout and a name change. Feeling funny with the estimate and explanation I was given, I called the folks at Proven Plumbing. Not only was the job done well, but the quote was literally half of the previous one. Thanks Proven Plumbing for giving be back some trust in Plumbers. I will try you again!

I called Proven Plumbing and Air around 8:00 AM because we had multiple urgent issues — toilets backed up and two showers not draining properly. They initially told me they could arrive between 2:00 and 4:00 PM and would notify me if they could come earlier.

To my absolute surprise, within an hour they called back and said they could be at my house within 30 minutes. That alone was amazing and worked out perfectly.

The technician arrived exactly when promised. He was extremely friendly, professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He even asked if I wanted to watch the camera inspection with him to check for any damage in the pipes, which I really appreciated.

What impressed me most was his attention to detail. At one point, he came back inside and asked me to open the garage door because he noticed a small amount of water near the left side. When we went into the garage, we discovered water damage on the ceiling that I hadn’t even noticed yet. He immediately helped me move items out of the garage so nothing else would be damaged and called another associate to assist.

He was incredibly thorough — checking every possible avenue, ruling out all other causes, and ultimately finding the exact problem and fixing it properly. He even went the extra step of recommending a company to repair the sheetrock afterward.

I am beyond impressed with the level of care, professionalism, and expertise shown. Proven Plumbing and Air went above and beyond, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

PP came out same day I called to address and replace two hose bibs I had that were leaking or just not properly installed. They were very transparent re cost and knowledgeable. It didn’t take long for both hose bins to be replaced and are now functional and working well. Thanks Guys!

Proven Plumbing is the best company I have used for plumbing services. They communicated clearly about arrival times, repair costs, and the duration of the work from start to finish. The technicians were professional and knowledgeable. They cleaned up the area after the job was completed. The best part was receiving a discount on the estimate because they finished early, even though they stayed 30 minutes past their closing hour to ensure I could turn my water back on. Proven has set a new standard for the rest of the plumbing companies in the area.

I have nothing negative to say about Proven Plumbing! I called them at 8pm when we noticed water dripping from our ceiling, expecting to need to leave a voicemail but they answered right away. They were able to help calm me down and reacted with empathy and understanding.
Proven Plumbing was out early the next day and completed the work promptly and answered all of our questions. They recommended a great restoration company (Blackhill Restoration) and set up an inspection with the city to have our new water heater checked out.
In a time of stress and uncertainty, they made things a lot easier. I will be using them for all plumbing issues in the future.

Proven Plumbing came highly recommended by my co-worker and was excellent to work with to replace our water heater after it started leaking. They responded to my inquiry quickly and professionally and sent someone out the same day. Before Brian arrived, I was sent a notification that even included his picture- a safety practice I really appreciated. Brian did a thorough assessment of our issue, gave us a fair quote for the job, and said they could get it done the same day! A little while later, two gentlemen showed up to install the water heater. When they were done, they took the time to explain how everything works and answered all of my questions. After they left, we had a brief issue with the hot water not coming out, but I called the office and they were able to assist me over the phone with resetting the flood stop. We are very satisfied with our experience using Proven Plumbing & Air from start to finish. Crystal has been incredibly responsive to my needs and it has been a pleasure to work with the entire team!

First I’d like to say that I’ve used Proven Plumbing for three separate projects/plumbing issues and they have always delivered exceptional service, have been extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and dependable.

This past appointment, I was dealing with a plumbing issue from my kitchen sink and dishwasher. I had water overflowing from both so there was a serious issue and it happened the day before Thanksgiving. Being handy myself, I figured I could attempt to troubleshoot but I couldn’t figure out the issue. So I figured it was a clog further down the line, and it needed to be snaked or punched through. By mistake I called a very well known company and service for this issue because I thought it was a simple in and out clog issue. Two full days and $1000 later, they couldn’t figure it out and then told me I had a break in my plumbing pipes in the center of my house even though they couldn’t locate a break with a camera and equipment. They then quoted me $15k to tunnel under my house to fix this “issue.” The next day I called Proven Plumbing, which I should’ve just done in the first place. They sent Enrique Chavez out and man was I glad I called Proven Plumbing and they sent that guy. He was so professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He started educating me on my current P-Trap piping issue, how the previous owners set it up under my sink improperly which was affecting flow, the issues with my dishwasher and its plumbing, he then spent some time fixing those issues and snaked the pipes, punched through some clogs, did some more magic, ran a bunch of tests and within an hour or so, my sink and dishwasher were working and the water was flowing and draining properly as if there was never any issue.

I can’t recommend both Enrique Chavez and Proven Plumbing enough. I will never be calling another plumbing company again as they have ascertained a customer for life. I will be using them again for future renovation projects.

Proven Plumbing is top notch! Customer service is always great and service is done to a high standard. They have been and will continue to be my first and only choice for plumbing. Know its hard and stressful to find a good plumbing company...just stick with Proven and you will be in the best of hands. Great company.

Zak and Manny were AWESOME! They took the time to explain things to me in a way i could understand them, and gave some great advice. Reasonable pricing as well! I'll use them again. May finally have found a decent plumbing team.

I have been a customer of Proven Plumbing for many years at our previous house. We recently moved into a new house and I had to call Proven Plumbing in desperation during the winter storm over the past weekend. Our outdoor tankless waterheater busted and sprung a bad leak. Since I was not familiar with this type of waterheater, I was totally lost. Richard who is the plumbing manager at PP got on the phone and walk me through the steps to cut off the water going to the unit and assured me he will get someone out as fast as he could. Richard was so patient over many phone calls and texting, I really felt that he cared and was trying to do everything possible. We both agreed that the unit was damaged beyond the repair and I needed a new waterheater. He sent out his Technician Cory next day and installed a brand new unit in a record time despite the freezing weather. Cory was absolutely awsome guiding me through the entire installation process and also educating me about the outdoor tankless waterheater. After he was finished, he spent considerable time giving me tips on what I could and should do during the freezing weather to minimize the risk of this happening again. My many years of dealing with Proven Plumbing, I found everyone at Proven Plumbing very customer service oriented and will go out of their way to help you out. They are honest and reliable! You will not go wrong choosing them for your plumbing needs!!

Thanks to Corey and the Proven team for installing a new tankless water heater system. My two water heaters were approaching 10 years and needed to be replaced. The team came out and installed a way more efficient solution. The install was super clean. Appreciate the work of Corey and team. Again, another great experience with the Proven team.

Today was truly special, I called a plumber to come out for a routine maintenance call. Not only did he have the skills to do the job but also was professional, thoughtful, charismatic guy. Let’s just say we need more companies with people that care about their customers and the experience from start to finish. Thank you Proven Plumbing for having Cory F on the team! Highly recommend Proven Plumbing, especially Enrique. He was professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and best of all, did not try to upsell me. He came out for a free on-site estimate, explained everything clearly, and even saved me money on my water heater by not recommending unnecessary repairs. Replacing my outdoor faucets was also very reasonably priced; well below other quotes and even my own expectations. I’ll be using them again.

I called in a request for a quote to get my water heater replaced, and Jeremy was able to dispatch a tech within a couple hours. The quote I got was very reasonable, so I went ahead and signed to have it replaced the same day. Zach and Cameron drained and removed the old WH, replaced the lines, expansion tank, and drip pan, and restored hot water to my house quickly and expertly. These guys worked late into the evening to make sure everything was done properly and that everything was operational before they left.

I'm extremely satisfied with this experience from start to finish, and I'm honestly a bit shocked at how efficient the whole thing was. I was expecting this to be a drawn out process, but thanks to Zach and Cameron's hard work, it was all done in the same day within maybe 4hrs of me placing a call. I'd recommend Proven to anybody looking for plumbing work in my area.

I chose Proven Plumbing & Air to provide my replacement natural gas hot water heater because they provided the most “bang for the buck” in terms of the product they were recommending (Rheem ProG50-38N-RH60), the installation materials including safety features (new plumbing for water and natural gas, drip pan & auto leak water shutoff mechanism, and thermal expansion can). We had no hot water on our 19-year-old unit, which I flushed annually to keep the sediment from collecting inside the 50-gallon tank, because the heater and pilot light would not stay lit. Replacing that hardware would have cost nearly half the cost of a new system installed, and the exact parts were tenuous to find. I spoke with four (4) contractors, received three (3) bids, two (2) of which came out to assess for free: the bids ranged from $2.2-3.8K installed. I chose Proven Plumbing because they were towards the lower end of that range (not the lowest nor the highest), could install the next day (my wife was uncomfortable not taking a hot shower!), and Nolan S was crystal clear with his assessment and action plan if we chose Proven Plumbing & Air. Nolan S and his team came back the next morning and had my wife showering by early that afternoon! Plus, the office staff was helpful in answering all my detailed questions about what they provide including warranty (6 years). Thank you, Crystal, Ember, and Maria and one other gentleman, at the office, and Nolan S and his team in my garage! I also like the fact that they asked me for pictures of my installation before showing up so they could accurately quote.

We needed our sink fixed and cleaned out. Proven plumbing is the best. Zachary C was wonderful, professional and very sweet to my kids as well. He told me exactly what he was going to do and went above and beyond. Very nice guy and Jay was nice and professional as well. I will call them again for help.

Excellent service!! My original water heater was approaching 25 years old. After putting off a replacement, I contacted Proven for a quote. They were able to come the next day to provide a quote with 3 different warranty options. The quote was detailed and all of my questions were answered. The water heater was replaced the next day by Zach W and another gentleman. They were very professional and customer oriented. I highly recommend Proven!!

I had a water heater installed today 1/19/26, and Zach W and Manny were fantastic! They were both very knowledgeable about the install and corrected issues that needed fixing. The entire process from estimate thru installation was seamless and easy. This was my first time using Proven, and I will definitely be calling again in the future. I highly recommend them. Sam and Zac were incredibly helpful from start to finish. They were professional, polite, and took the time to clearly explain what was causing the plumbing leak and how they planned to fix it. They worked quickly and efficiently without cutting any corners, and the repair was completed to a high standard. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about their customers. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing reliable plumbing services.

I had a hot water issue where the water wasn't passing through the tank into the house. I tried everything I could think of to fix it myself, but ultimately decided to call Proven Plumbing. They showed up within 20 minutes of me calling their office. Immediately, techs pointed out a flaw in how the tank was installed. There was direct connection to the emergency release drain on the intake line so the water wasn't making it to the tank, but was going straight down the pressure release drain. It made no sense how it ever worked in the first place. I'd recently replaced some of the fittings to fix a leak. When I did so, I took out what I thought was an unnecessary long plastic riser coupling with a shorter brass fitting. I'm guessing with the shorter connector gravity worked against me.

The Proven team told me all I had to do was get rid of the drain connection and cap it. So I did just that. I got rid of all the extra connector fittings and then tapped the intake directly to the tank, capped the drain hose, and like MAGIC... I've got hot water again!!! And right before the hard freeze weekend.

Proven Plumbing didn't even charge me for coming out. They give FREE estimates, so they gave me an estimate for all the work that I need to have to done to get my heater up to code. And they're not wrong, I know I should have my heater in a pan and have better ventilation in the heater closet. We're looking to put the house on the market soon and I'll for sure be calling Proven Plumbing to have that work done. The techs were also super polite, funny even. I also really appreciate that they never made me feel stupid or talked down to me, despite my obvious amateur plumbing abilities.

I was trying to get my water heater replaced through AHS. However, the plumbing company assigned gave me a huge out-of-pocket expense quote for installing a lower quality water heater. They were going to charge me for stuff that is a standard install for a new water heater :-(. Instead i took the cash out from AHS and approached Proven Plumbing. I have had several friends and relatives that I had recommended Proven Plumbing based on what i heard but i personally had not had a chance to use them. Now it was my chance :-). Anyways, the price that Proven plumbing quoted was only a 100 dollars (parts + labor + warranty) more than the out of pocket expenses that the company from AHS had quoted but i was going to get a better water heater, longer warranty and also lesser cost overall (with the cash out option from AHS). Based on my overall research, Proven Plumbing had the most reasonable quote amongst other plumbing companies. More importantly, many of the plumbing companies in Austin appear to be very difficult to work with -- my way or the highway attitude as opposed to Proven who are very very customer oriented. We had Enrique to come by our house who did a fantastic job of replacing the water heater and spent a lot of time answering my questions. Many other companies who had come by to provide a quote were trying to gouge me by saying that they will charge extra for a tall-narrow water heater or wanted me to make framing changes (our water heater is in the attic and we have truss-roof). Enrique and Proven plumbing accomplished everything without charging me any extra. So I have no qualms in recommending Proven plumbing for any plumbing jobs.
Also Proven Plumbing management (if you are looking at this review) -- I would like to give a shout out to Enrique for a tremendous well done job and for his professional expertise, courtesy etc. At the end, it is the technicians' attitude/behaviour that make/break public perspective about any company. In this regard Enrique gets an Excellent and the top-most grade !!! Pl. continue to do your good work.
