The staff of Davis Moving were very professional. I would recommend to anyone needing moving services. They arrived on time and worked efficiently to get the job done. There were a few hiccups but nothing earth shattering. They were detail oriented and showed genuine concern to complete the job to satisfaction.

Fast and skilled. Professional and trustworthy. Took some of my furniture apart and put it back together again at the new house. No leftover screws!
Would use again.

Jason and RC were amazing! I lived in the 4th floor of an old building so there was no elevator. They got everything down faster than I could have expected. The price is more than fair! Jason and RC are a good time as well. I will only be using this company for all my moves!

Excellent job doing a make-ready clean for my client. House did not have running water and this company catered to my client’s needs and got the job done! Workers arrived on time and provided “after” pictures to show the work was completed. Thank you for making this house sparkle for pictures!

Hello I just wanted to let you guys know I will never use nor recommend you guys to use yall services. After the guys came 2 hours late they had to make 2 trips because clearly you guys didn't send them in a big enough truck. This was something I had to be charged for which is crazy to me. Around 6 pm which they started at 12:30 I asked RC how much this move was costing me. He stated $817 which Torre quoted me $499 and some change. After me telling him the things I have. I don't think Torre should be allowed to do anymore quotes from you guys system because keep in mind people do make sure they have that amount of money available with a small cushion to pay the movers. Well after I said I didn't have $817 for a move which I could have gone with another company for $650 who was going to take down and put up my tv and beds RC walked away and called Jason. Jason advised them since I didn't have the money stop moving my things into my apartment. Mind you I was quoted $500. Jayson then calls Torre so I was told who advised Jayson they can do it for $640, but if I didn't have the money yall was keeping the items they went back to get which was all my furniture. I spoke to Jayson at this point I am lived because my bad moving experience was happening again. I was upset cursing because once again my items were being kept because of someone quoting me wrong. Well Jason began to start cursing as I was myself saying after I agreed he needed my money $640 before the men would start back unloading my furniture. I had to make 2 payments before anything because once again he said my furniture was going to yall warehouse if I didn't pay. Now no one offered to compensate me for the guys coming 2 hours later, no one turned the clock off because they had the wrong size truck and 2 trips had to be made. Then I had items that were broken a brand new coffee table I paid $200 for, items like dishes were in the boxes broken, and I go back to the old apartment and things were left behind I had to get myself. Boxes and other materials were left behind near the apartment complex building. This is by far the worst move I have never had a professional curse at me before. Then I heard Jayson is a part owner not sure if that's the truth. I wish I could go on the BBB and submit a complaint. Thanks

Jason and Marlin went above and beyond when they came by to drop off and setup our new Helix mattress and adjustable frame. First and foremost, they came sooner than we expected which worked out perfectly with our schedule. We also really appreciated that they respected our wishes for them to take their shoes off in our home. They even helped move our old mattress upstairs prior to setting up our new one and took care of all the clean up afterward. From start to finish everything took no more than 20 minutes. Thanks guys! Y’all did a great job and we appreciate it! 10 out of 5 stars!

Jason and Marlon did a great job delivering our new Helix mattresses. They were very friendly, very careful with our home, and very prompt. They took the time to show us how the base worked and made sure to provide enough space for our new furniture. I would definitely use them again!

Late review, but thought I'd save some people from having the same bad experience.

I moved to Austin 2 months ago. I had a u-haul truck loaded by professional movers and parked in my new driveway for the crew from Davis Moving & Cleaning LLC to unload. Making the appointment over the phone was easy, and I believe I spoke to Davis himself, who was very kind.

2 movers came out to my house, and they were nice. However, as I was going in and out of the house and designating each box and furniture to their respective rooms, I overheard their conversations a lot and it was clear that only one of the guys had experience moving heavy things. Not a problem as long as they can get the job done well, so I left them be.

I have real wood furniture that had to go upstairs - really the reason why we hired people to help us. While moving a few lighter bags and boxes upstairs as these guys were handling the furniture, I noticed a new hole in the wall in the middle of the stairs (attaching photo). Very upsetting, and neither of the movers acknowledged it ever happened. I decided to go through the "claims" process afterwards and did not bring it up to them directly.

My washer and dryer were the last two things left in the u-haul truck and they were extremely heavy. Another reason why my husband and I didn't want to even attempt moving these ourselves. In the short distance between the garage door to the other end of the garage, the movers DROPPED both washer and dryer off their dolly multiple times, which I directly witnessed a few times while in the garage myself. They were obviously uncomfortable knowing that I had seen and heard all the commotion, but again, did not acknowledge, apologize, or explain further. These units are not brand new, so I don't mind the scuffs and minor dings. However, the top of my washer is completely detached from the unit now, because the plastic pieces holding them attached are broken (also attaching photo).

It was kind of funny when the unloading was completed and one of the movers came into our living room and straight up asked for a 5-star review.

Not writing this in seek of compensation, as I respect the terms I agreed to, which had a built-in number of days in which I can submit a claim. With all that happens after the move-in day, I missed the window. I just hope to save some people the trouble and money because moving is already expensive as it is. I'm disappointed that this was my experience, as I tried to do my research and trusted the reviews going in. Maybe it was just those two guys they contracted/hired.

I want to update my previous experience and say that the company came back and made things right.

They returned to fix the issue with my dryer and followed through on what was promised. I really appreciate their effort to correct the situation and ensure everything is working properly now.

It means a lot when a company takes responsibility and stands behind their work. Thank you for coming back and resolving the problem.
