Buzzcutters did an excellent job installing French drains in both our front and backyard. The team was professional, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing. The work was done neatly and the results have made a big difference already. I would absolutely recommend Buzzcutters to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality work.

William and his team did an amazing job on our side yards! He talked through options with me, worked within my budget and executed the vision to a tee! We were very pleased with the quality of work as well as his communication. They took care to get the job done well and also cleaned up wonderfully!

William and his team removed and replaced 2 trees, de-weeded all of our flower beds, and installed landscape fabric and rock around the house.

He was extremely communicative, arrived early with a large crew and got the work done thoroughly. They also cleaned up after themselves which a lot of other companies fail to do.

Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Buzzcutters. I received numerous quotes before choosing them for this job, they were very professional and their price was competitive. I would definitely use them again.

William and his team did a FANTASTIC job on my yard!!! He was able to do the project in one day and made it look exactly how I wanted it. He explained the plan for the yard well, made sure I had all of the information, stayed in touch through the process, and arrived on time. I would recommend them to anyone!

I recently had to get some landscaping work done and had looked at multiple vendors. I found Buzzcutters online and called William and explained my project. I had just had a pool installed and our yard was destroyed from the pool build and beyond what we were expecting. It required our entire front and back yard to get rebuilt. I had a fairly decent idea of what I wanted. We needed a playground built, turf near the pool, and sod in the front and backyard. William was confident he could get this done and was very considerate of our budget. He worked with his vendors to help get us the best pricing to stay in our budget. He was on time and very communicative the entire process. He would contact me in advance to let me know the schedule as well as when they were on the way. This was very nice change as most vendors just show up, or arrive late. We had a big rain storm on Day 1 and they were out there working anyways. I was very appreciative of their hard work and effort. They got my entire front and back yard completed in a week. It was incredible.

We will be needing work done later next year and we will definitely be contacting them again. If you have a landscaping project and need it done correctly I highly recommend Buzzcutters. Call William and be assured he will take care of you!!

Had foundation work done on the front of my house. This resulted in a total mess of my front landscape. Received a few quotes and decided to go with Buzzcutters. They gave me the best bang for my buck. I was super impressed with their professionalism and communication. Their skilled workmanship is above and beyond. They cleaned up each day, and showed up when they said they would. The crew was friendly and very open to my requests during installation. I had stone walkway installed, three stone walled flower beds, landscape lighting, tree trimming, irrigation repair, drainage evaluation, 60 plants installed, landscape cloth, top soil and mulch. Nothing was a problem. All of this in two and a half days. Amazing. Don’t hesitate to hire William, Saoul and Buzzcutters landscaping.

My spouse and I recently had landscaping work done in our front yard, which included enclosing our flowerbed and trees with stone, adding black shadow rock as filler, and planting new greenery including two trees. Unfortunately, our experience with the company was far from ideal.

The project required four separate visits to complete. The initial consultation with William was promising—he was knowledgeable, listened to our ideas, and clearly outlined the next steps. However, once the installation was complete, we immediately noticed an issue: the flowerbed was not level and had visibly sunk on the right side.

When we brought this to William’s attention, he explained that the original quote didn’t include enough stone to ensure a level bed. This was disappointing, especially since this lack of communication should have been addressed before installation. To his credit, he agreed to fix it, and the crew returned a couple of weeks later.

Unfortunately, the next morning we noticed cracked stone. After sending photos, they returned about two weeks later to patch it. Another major issue was the irrigation system. The invoice clearly stated that irrigation would be checked and maintained, and William initially assured us they would ensure proper water flow through the bubblers and sprinklers. However, this was never done until I repeatedly followed up and requested a final visit.

During that final visit, William shifted blame onto us. He claimed the cracked stone was likely caused by a lawn mower, even though the damage was visible the day after installation. We also had weeds growing within four weeks, despite having a weed barrier installed—only in half the flowerbed, which seemed odd. When I raised concerns about the health of our plants, William’s explanations were inconsistent—first blaming overwatering, then underwatering, and finally circling back to overwatering. Lastly, there were never any follow-ups or door knocks. We were home through the entirety of the projects and never had anyone come to the door and express any concerns, questions, or follow up. William indicated that he did come to the door and knock, however even if that were true, a simple phone call could have solved that.

While I believe this company has potential, our experience did not reflect the level of care, communication, or professionalism one would expect from a $7,000 project. Additionally, since the irrigation check was labeled on the invoice and never completed, I believe were are due a refund of some sort. Regrettably, we do not plan to use their services again.

Update 10-3-2025: we've now thrown away three plants that buzzcutters planted due to dying. This includes our 15 gallon agave. The plants we already had before the demo are all healthy and fine. Even more disappointed 😞

My husband and I were completely satisfied with every step of the process. We were repeatedly treated with a level of professionalism that help ensure that we were completely thrilled with our final product. We are looking forward to having phase two completed in the fall.

Unique Lanscaping was awesome. They designed and planted our yard. They truly care about the plants they choose, how they plant them, and how your sprinkler system will work. They take care of all of those things!!

I have used Unique Landscaping for several years, for all of my landscaping redesigns, hardscaping redesigns, irrigation, and general weekly maintenance. The owners are great to work with, proactive, and thoughtful. I would highly suggest them.

We had unique landscaping come in and transplant some plants for us and landscape a few old spots in our backyard. The price was pretty high for a half days work but we decide to move forward bc they would program the sprinkler system to fit the plant’s needs and reduce mosquitos.
Needless to say a year later and after following all of their instructions and repeated calls to their office on what to do with dying plants we got very little guidance. They said “Basically you are doing what you need to do with hand watering etc.”
Most of the plants died, some of the plants just didn’t appear as nice as the photo graphs showed (weed like). Unique Landscaping did come out for a year follow up and I showed him all the dead or dying plants. He said it was our fault for the watering(remember we following their instruction and they set up a programmed system to ensure good coverage for watering. Which we paid extra for). Then we were told they would come up with a new plan and yet it’s been almost to months and no one has reach out to fix the problem.
We are rounding December I know planting in winter is not the best time.
Recommendations: research the plants they want to use so you know how they will truly look in your yard. Make sure they are the best types of plants on the location of your yard( sun, soil, water etc).
All stuff we paid them for but almost none of the plants survived.

UPDATE: I have updated my review of Unique landscaping. Donna, Gina and Whitney have all been very attentive and apologized for some minor clerical errors that caused delays in communication and thus the improvements to our yard.
Over the past month or so I received new plans they created and they had our plants replaced at no cost.
The prompt follow up by their team was greatly appreciated and it does appear they will stand by their work.
