Hired to clean a house before move in. Experts at making things “look” clean, as long as you don’t look too close. They cleaned and vacuumed the floors, wiped down the windowsills and...that’s it. Countertops were dirty and dusty in the kitchen and bathrooms, fireplace mantel covered in dust, blinds dusty, windows still dirty, kitchen sink dirty, microwave covered in grease spots from cooking, shelves dusty and obviously untouched. If we’d just wanted the floors vacuumed and swept I’d have done it myself. Save your money, hire someone else.

Edit: was contacted by the company today and offered return service, we declined and they offered to refund $50. We agreed and consider this matter resolved.

I very rarely leave Google reviews, but I have been so satisfied with Maid Brigade that I want to share for other people who are looking for a cleaning service. I have high standards for cleanliness in my home and I am always so pleased with their service!

The crew that came out was on time, polite and professional. They were very sweet and courteous working around our schedule and the fact that we are working from home during COVID. I would highly recommend this company.

I've been using for several years and appreciate their flexibility. Reliable and professional. Recently, teams have begun wearing masks and gloves, maintaining social distance and disinfecting surfaces, putting my mind at ease during the virus outbreak.

I'm a regular customer and have always been very, very pleased with the thorough clean, top to bottom, that the team delivers. And there’s a lot for them to,get through with 8 rescue cats living inside spread amongst multiple rooms. The team always goes above and beyond. Thank you!

The employees used to do a good job; however it has progressively gotten worse and I've had the last straw.

The employees come into the house and use all our napkins to wipe down the furniture. The biggest pet peeve I have is when I come home to a dresser, bathroom counter, or shower that has been completely REORGANIZED. From the candles, to the decorations, to my jewelry.. everything is in a new place. I came home one time and found my slippers that I place under the bed stuffed behind my shoe rack in the closet. In the bathroom, an employee took all of my shampoo products form the bath tub and placed them on my bathroom counter. All 10-15 products were lined up on the bathroom counter ( shampoo conditioner, body wash, face wash, shaving cream, razor, etc. ) WHY?! A suitcase that was placed in a corner of the game room was stuffed in the corner of my closet..... I don't understand.

I honestly don't understand why it is so difficult to clean around objects, or pick up the object to wipe under it and then put it back where it was found. I called the manager, to talk to her about the issue. She was very uninterested, was not helpful, and very passive aggressive.

I strongly advise that you do NOT hire anyone from this company. Terrible customer service and employees do not care what is asked of them or what is requested of them.

Terrible! They did not clean any of the toilets in the house. They left one toilet full of poo. At least flush it to make it look like you cleaned. Left pee around the base of the toilet. They did not clean the second bathroom tub and shower. They did not wash any door Windows or wipe down the refrigerator. Left wrappers on the floor and couch. The left crusty food on the kitchen counter tops and in the kitchen sink. They were paid for 2hrs of service but only stayed 1 & 1/2. I feel extremely ripped off.

“Sometimes they do a good job, sometimes they won’t” that’s what the manager said to me after calling and complaining about how her cleaners failed to clean my shower tile. We had Maid Brigade of Greater North Houston out 4 times to clean our new home. While the cleaning team did a wonderful job with the entirety of the house, they progressively failed to fully clean our shower tile (as in not wipe and or scrub the tile at all). They would ether miss some spots or just skip cleaning the tile all together. The manager sent out a supervisor to re-clean the shower, however, the next day the manager called, and after some debate as to the root cause of the problem (as in her cleaners not scrubbing the tile), she fired herself. I’ve never had a company not try and keep a paying costumer. I don’t recommend Maid Brigade of Greater North Houston.

An unfortunate accident occurred when my house was cleaned. I called to report the issue. They came out and took a look, apologized and then made things right - even though it was a costly repair. So refreshing to have a business take care of their customers when they easily could have denied responsibility.

I appreciate their professionalism and would recommend them without hesitation.

I informed Amber my circumstances and needed cleaning of an rv in bad shape since I got a job and couldn't tent an apt needed 3 months tent. I told her it was real bad and when they
came I had cleaned any stuff that was left in the trailer. The toilet was horrible and I was td it was calcium and it wouldn't come off. The had a 3 inch screen to scrub with . I put cleanser in and dipped the screen in water came off. I said if i can get it off so can you. Since they charge 110.00 an hr. Horrible!!!!!

Excellent professional cleaning. I've hired their services more than once and I have always been completely satisfied with their work. They pay attention to detail and leave your place spotless clean!

A million "cleaning" services available out there and chose to give Maid Brigade a chance. Ladies arrived on time and did a fantastic job on my initial deep clean. Company uses green cleaning products and their prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!

We have been using Maid Brigade for years and they have ALWAYS left our properties with nothing less than a clean house. We use them for our business and for personal when needed. Highly recommend.

Really great service. They have been coming to my house for almost a year now, once a month and they have always done well. Some crews clean a little different than others, some are great with dishes and others better on floors. The value of service will depend on how much time they are allowed and how dirty the place is. For the people who were complaining, they will only do what they can with the time. I too have had things left less than satisfactory, BUT that was when my house was worse than other times. They are not miracle workers, but they are hard working ladies.

Hired Maid Brigade to do a make ready cleaning for a home we recently purchased (home was vacant).

The crew (2 people) had to add an additional hour of cleaning, to what I was previously quoted to complete the service.

Upon inspection, several areas on the home were not cleaned. They did send someone of to correct a few of the areas, I had mentioned.

Cleaning the inside of Cabinets was one of the offerings I cared most about, that was not done thoroughly.

Overall the house was cleaned, but not to my satisfaction and was $100+ over my original quote.

You would think I’ve they needed to add time to complete the job, they would have at least done a thorough one.

It’s not about the money, it’s about to quality of work for the cost of the service.

Just paid almost $300 for a "Deep Cleaning" on Monday. I got a call stating they needed 30 more minutes, of course for a price, and I agreed. I get home only to find that they did not clean my door windows, as stated that they would. They did not vacuum my living room rug. They did not get under the furniture as they said they would. Lastly, they did not dust my blinds. I would love to know what they spent their time doing on that extra 30 minutes they "needed" and charged me for. No discount was offered when the company called to get my feedback. They didn't even offer to not charge me for the extra time. The things they did clean were cleaned well, just wish they would have completely followed through with their job.

Scheduled quickly and communicated time changes and upcharges if needed. They were great, the 2 ladies that worked clean very thoroughly. I have had work done to the house and I have 3 small children so it was great to have the house deep cleaned. They have different packages you can sign up for that fits your family needs.

I've been with Maid Brigade for years now. I love that they have 2 person teams as this allows them to clean my home well but not be here half the day which is important since I work from home. The teams always do a good job and if I ever have any questions or special requests, reaching someone at the main office has never been a problem. My main contact Amber is super friendly, helpful and very understanding. Maid Brigade will be my home cleaning service for years to come.

Don't use Maid Brigade! When I cancelled service they explicitly told me to not write a bad review. They buy reviews!

I bought a "deep clean" for the home we bought just to make sure everything was cleaned out from the prior homeowners. I was completely disappointed when I saw bathtubs not washed (still had hairs in them!), smudges still on mirrors, dust on the chandelier, and so on. I complained and they offered a crew to come out and re-do the work, but I did not want to delay unpacking for what should've been done properly the first time. Not to mention that this deep clean was very expensive. They did not offer a full refund! They also did not bring shoe covers with them.

You are better off finding independently owned maids. I use a mom/daughter team now and they are so much more meticulous than Maid Brigade.

They were at my home three hours charged me over $350 left dirty dishes in my sink and odid not follow instructions. I would not recommend them they are complete rip off worst 350 we could’ve ever spent we had guests showing up I still had to clean up after they had already left my husband had to kick them out because the service was horrible and slow

Then Miss Amber tried to call and discuss the issues, but did not want to hear anything that I had to say kept interrupting me on my concerns and telling me how great her staff was, and refused to hear her customers feedback I will definitely not recommend this to anyone
