Matt and Riverside have always done great landscaping projects for us. They are as prompt as the weather will allow and have excellent suggestions for new and replacement plantings.

Matt and his crew removed my Bermuda grass, spread a thin layer of rich topsoil and then placed the strips of Palmetto St Augustine covering the entire yard. This is the 4th or 5th week and it is rooting well. In Texas July is not the ideal time to redo a yard because it is so hot, but I have a sprinkler system and was able to keep it damp so it wouldn’t burn up. I am very pleased with their work.

Matt and is crew are very reliable and consistent. They are responsive to any requests. They have been taking care of my families yards for years. Are we have been very pleased.

Riverside has done maintenance, landscaping, and irrigation work for our small homeowners’ association as well as for our family. They do great work at a reasonable price and are easy to work with. Highly recommend for special projects or regular maintenance.

Matt was very responsive and accessible. He has a lot of plant knowledge and helped us plan our garden beds. The whole staff is very friendly and nice to work with!

Riverside came in and did a fall cleanup and facelift of my yard. Everything was refreshed with new mulch and borders. Drainage issues from flooding was restored or redone. Everything looks fresh. There are plans for a Flagstone patio and new grass when weather permits. Professional and orderly. They left everything clean. Thanks.

They did a GREAT job for my Mom who needed a swale drainage system, due to severe mold in her home, caused by poor drainage over 4 yrs. They were courteous, professional, punctual, and the entire crew was very kind and considerate. I highly recommend them.

Great work at a great price. They took care of chronic drainage issues with our backyard. Water used to back up and pool. Now it drains within 15 minutes after a downpour. Thanks again for your good work!

I think people need to be warned about this man’s business practices. Yesterday we woke to chainsaws in our backyard. This man had instructed his workers to hop the back fence into our property without any consent to come cut large branches off our trees. We did not hire him or give him any permission to do this. We did not even meet him until after his team had cut at least 6 branches (that we know of) right at the trunk of our tree. He insists they were hanging over into the neighbor’s yard who hired him. The tree is 15 feet from the back fence property line! He had no right to take our entire branches! We looked back at photos of our yard before he struck and the branches were not even hanging over. He had no problem trespassing and illegally cutting our branches as long as he was paid to do so. Be careful if you consider him for your landscaping services because he clearly pays no attention to the law. He knew what he did wasn’t legal too because he refused to give us his name when we confronted him about his actions. As an added bonus his team crushed our smaller plants with the large branches they cut down and there are gouge holes climbing up the tree from whatever shoes they wore to climb the tree.

Mathew was great to work with!!! We l loved ours so much we decided to have our backyard done also! Many family members have used Riverside Lawn because of our happy service and great pricing!

Had them out to do some cleanup work, pruning, planting, and more. Was able to do everything via phone which was important. They did a great job and quickly with little need for detailed guidance from me. Owner was super easy to work with. Will call them back for any big yard jobs in the future.

Riverside Lawn & Landscaping tore out the overgrown shrubs in my front yard and created a beautiful new landscape. They also installed pavers on my back patio that looks so much better than the concrete under it. Very dependable company.

I needed a root barrier installed, so I called Matt at Riverside Landsaping to install it for me. They did great work for me 2 yrs. ago and they did a great job. They also fixed a leak from sprinkler system & reset sidewalk. Great job and affordable!!

I walked the yard with Matt twice, thoroughly explaining what needed,to be done. There were 3 jobs. None were done right. The first was a drainage system. Matt did not add all the drains needed and discussed. So drainage was not sufficient in all areas. Next was a sprinkler system. He missed a couple of places in the planter bed, so there is incomplete watering. Third was grading. This job was done poorly and incompletely. After repeated requests for him to finish the job properly, he never showed. I had to fix all the above jobs myself at a significant cost in dollars and time. Also, his workers were careless and messy. They broke a septic line and an invisible dog fence in several places. Matt was not inexpensive and did not do good or complete work. Nor did he do all that he had promised. I do not recommend him!

We had Matt install pavers in our backyard.
The quality of the work performed was way below expectations. Called him several times to replace a broken paver that his workers installed but he kept givign false promises. Also the gravel he installed is perhaps the worst work anybody could do. Called up him many a times and left him several messages but no response till date. He charged us alot for a bad piece of work with zero professionalism

Had Matt do some landscaping and drainage at our new home. Matt agreed to refund some money because I had to finish/correct some stone work that was done incorrectly, and then he went back on his word. It seems to be Matt's standard operating procedure to collect the money and then ghost you, not return phone calls, not reply to any emails, etc.
I trusted Matt.
Matt is not a man of his word.
Lesson learned. Don't use Matt or if you do Do Not Pay him until the job is completed and completed correctly.

I have used Riverside at least twice. I have always been satisfied with their quality of work and their help selecting plants. I felt that Matt listened to what we wanted and then delivered!! I would definitely use them again.
