Needed a 1st-time sprinkler repair. D&R came up and the Reviews convinced me to try them. They are spot-on. David took my call and said he could have a crew out, same day. Kevin arrived very timely. Explained the problem and he repaired the broken line, including a small mod to ensure flexibility that would keep it from breaking again should the head be suppressed. REALLY a very professional, knowledgeable and nice guy and a pleasure to work with. Cost was extremely fair and reasonable. D&R will be the company we call in the future and we highly recommend them.

D&R Landscape & Irrigation is an outstanding company and they deliver the results they promise! I worked with David Towe to design and landscape my backyard after installing a pool and it is beautiful! As a final touch to the landscape design, David recommend installing landscaping and pathway lighting and it makes all the difference! Great Job! This is the second home I have built in the Dallas area and had D&R landscape both homes and I HIGHLY recommend their services (landscaping, irrigation repair, and outdoor lighting). They are very professional, on-time, personable, and provide a tremendous amount of value for their services.

Have to give them 5 stars. I had an irrigation system installed in the backyard which was an add on to an existing job but was complicated by the fact that I had to add some additional switches as I was adding several more zones.

They did a great job and were extremely easy to work with. Gave me a very fair quote for the work involved. I would highly recommend them. They got right on the job within a few days. The quality of the work was excellent. They followed back up with me after the job was complete to ensure it was satisfactory and went over everything with me. Had no problems at all and I would have no reservations in hiring them again.

Since moving into our home, David and his team have led us through several projects: a complete landscape design and installation in the front yard, upgraded irrigation controls (including an ap we can operate from our phones), lighting installation in the front and back yards, new sod, drainage repair and a flagstone patio and hammock installation in the backyard. David and his team are knowledgeable and reliable. Throughout the course of our projects, the team was excellent at troubleshooting any issues that would arise while always keeping the lines of communication open. We are extremely pleased with our results and highly recommend David and his team.

We used D&R to do the initial install of our sprinkler system in the winter of 2019. I can say that overall I have been very happy with the experience. The price came in where we wanted it to be after doing a lot of research and looking at different vendors. The quality of the parts chosen were what I wanted with Rainbird heads and a Rachio controller. The install crew were very respectful and the work foreman for the crew was responsive and respectful to two time I engaged with him about the project.

After the install we had an internet provider do an install for a backhaul on our street and damaged the system. D&R were very responsive and covered the minimal damage under warranty and worked with the provider to make sure no further damage would occur to our system. David has been responsive via phone or text when I have tried to contact him with courteous and helpful information.

David responded quickly to my call for some sprinkler head repairs and general tuneup. His team came out and got everything in working order. This led us to discuss replacing some 30 year old shrubs and an update to our landscaping. David provided a thorough quote at a fair price. He was easy to work with and had great suggestions that complemented our ideas. His team was quick, efficient and professional. We are extremely happy with the results which have been complimented by our friends and neighbors.

We are doing some backyard renovations for a new patio and had to remove sprinklers that had been installed by D&R back in 2017. The technicians came on the scheduled date & time and found the best way to do the work while minimizing the cost. One of the technicians, Zach, talked me through his whole process so I understood it. They were able to do the work right then and there and I was able to test it to make sure it all worked correctly. In addition, when they had to shut off the water to the irrigation system, they found that the backflow preventor had a slow on-going leak. David, one of the owners, got on the line with me to brief me on the options on replacing/repairing that unit. He had the technicians work to identify where exactly the leak was so the option to repair versus just replacing (a much higher cost) were thoroughly considered. D&R is truly an honest and deligent company. Thanks to David and Zach for the work done today!

D&R came out to fix irrigation that another contractor didn't finish. Walked through what I needed and advised them of internet cable area and that prior contractors had cut line. Irrigation work they did was great except, they cut the fiberoptic internet line. Called Frontier and they said it would be 5 days before they could even come out and look at it. Did not hear from D&R so I emailed them asking if his team told him they cut the internet line and that this was a big issue because me and the wife work from home by using internet. He said yes and advised to have Frontier bury the line deeper. I agreed it was shallow but that it was his responsibility to call "811 call before you dig" which he did NOT do. With no other response they sent a full price invoice. My losses from missed work production and having to get other internet were more than their total invoice. So after not hearing from them for 9 days I paid half the bill (which I shouldn't have done until I knew what Frontier was going to do) and told him my losses were more than his total invoice. I advised if he wanted to discuss please call me. He emailed back that would work and then went on to blame the "811 Call before you dig" company USIC. His quote from his email was "I feel like the fiber companies have a conspiracy against irrigators and hope we'll cut them so they can make more money." Then 10 days later Frontier sends a 300.00 bill for repair of the line. I sent the bill and they said we already gave 750.00 for that you can keep the rest. No, you partially recouped my losses as my email stated. I did not even know Frontier was going to bill because they didn't the other times it was cut, and found out that was because the other companies called the "811 call before you dig" line and the yard was marked. So after all this D&R response was "Moving forward please only reach out to our attorney." Just so you know, basically they do good work but if there is an problem.......be warned.

RESPONSE TO REPLY FROM D&R:
"Get your big boy panties on and get over it" I would expect nothing less than you being insulting to a review. I even said the work done was great except how you, the owner handled the cutting of the internet cable. And as far as you saying I shorted the bill, I have in email that you agreed to what I paid due to my losses of your company cutting my internet and my lost productivity. Perfect example of what my review states. I will make sure I share your response.

Great Experience working with D&R, from bid to completion. David did a great job listening to what we wanted, and worked with our budget. He follows up to make sure the job is complete. When the city didn't take what they were supposed to he had to make numerous calls, and stayed on the situation until it was resolved. D&R will be the first we call for the next project.

D&R provides a great value and service. Johnny and Concho were on time and walked me through all the modifications they would make to my sprinkler system before starting. After completing the job, Johnny guided me through the entire system (Rachio) to ensure I understood everything. Thanks D&R, I look forward to using you again for my outdoor lighting. I highly recommend D&R and give them a 5 out of 5!

I woke up to a neighbor letting me know we had a waterfall in the front yard. I called D&R thinking it was the sprinklers- they not only answered the phone at 7am but had someone out by 8! It turned out to be a be a fitting that busted and they were still able to fix. Thank you David and Eric for the quick and easy help.

Johnny did a great job finding our irrigation leak that was causing excess water in our neighbor’s yard!

We first hired D&R for some irrigation work. We needed to add some sprinkler zones and update our equipment. David proved to be very knowledgeable and experienced about irrigation (don't let his youthful looks throw you off). He worked through all of our issues in addition to adding the zones. He was able to optimize our coverage as well. We then asked him to bid on a fairly large landscaping project to transform much of our front yard to a smart scape environment. His bid was very competitive but that wasn't the only reason we went with him. I knew he would be easy to work with and let me be involved as much (or little) as I wanted. He and his crew were great! They worked long, hot hours to make sure they delivered on our expectations, but they surpassed them. Our yard looks truly wonderful! We get a lot of people stopping to comment on it and ask who did it. We highly recommend D&R and will continue to use their services.

Very happy with the quick response and service. David help me through a tough time with a broken sprinkler pipe in my front yard. Had to shut the water to the house. He walked me through finding the shut off valves to the sprinkler, but kept water to the house. Even sent step by step instructions / pictures. His tech Daniel arrived Monday morning ready to go. He immediately diagnosed the problem and got to work. Keeping me updated throughout the whole process. Once complete, he did a systems check to make sure all the sprinklers are in good working order. I do have experience replacing sprinklers and pipes. But whether your an expert or novice, this company is for you. I highly recommend. And will be calling in the future. Two thumbs up!

So happy I got rid of my old provider and discovered D&R. Came over right away, repaired the sprinkler head and gave us a discount because the job was so simple. We used to have a guy who I swear would add $50 if he sneezed in our yard! Finally some fairness and skill. Thank you D&R.

Initial response for quote was fast/responsive. Able to start work fairly quickly. Quality of work high. Unfortunately, in my experience the follow-up work lacks. I had some areas of sod that did not root. Response was a bit curt but they said they would take care of it. They did not. Since then I've had some shrubs die despite extreme care by myself through water restrictions and some cold snaps. I asked again if this would be taken care of. Again I got some curt replies with a suggestion it would be handled but no commitment. After reminding them that they did not fix the sod issues and I really wanted a confirmation as a result, I've been ignored. Again, good initial work, terrible follow-up.

Great company with excellent customer service, superior knowledge, and skilled staff.

My elderly neighbor had an issue with what she thought was a sprinkler system leak. She called D&R and Johnny and Concho came out next day.

I went over to help her. It turned out it was the line to the house and not the sprinkler system that was the problem. Johnny explained everything thoroughly. Johnny and Concho did an excellent job in fixing the problem. They were very efficient, professional, personable and respectful. I would definitely recommend them and use them myself.

Great experience this morning with Johnny & Concho. Was very helpful in explaining what they were looking for, helped me replace a few broken heads and optimize my system for the coming season at a reasonable price. Will definitely use D&R for future sprinkler needs.

We had Johnny and Concho repair a connection box leak and they repaired it quickly and efficiently. They also checked our sprinklers and repaired them as needed in a very efficient manner. We’ve used this company several times for irrigation issues and landscape installation. Each time their team has provided quality work in a timely fashion. On a few occasions they’ve identified other issues that we hadn't discovered and repaired them as well. Not only did crew repair the damaged irrigation but gave us helpful tips on watering that led to a more successful flower bed! We plan on using them again and highly recommend them to friends and family!
