I contacted Carl for staining of the exterior of my home. He was quite prompt in getting by for a quote. The job was completed this week and I will say EVERYTHING went well. Everyone showed up on time and the work was done without any issues. As a realtor, I receive numerous requests from my clients for painting and would, without hesitation recommend Carl and his tremendous team for a smooth and hassle free job.

Fantastic Finishes was really ...fantastic. Very responsive, our quote was given on the spot, removal of popcorn ceiling was done fast, well and all was cleaned up great. Painting of the entire home, including baseboards, doors, cabinetry, brick and interior fireplace was done quickly and looks great. Carl checked on the job site and was available at all times for questions and meetings. All together it was a fantastic experience.

Carl and his crew are superior painters and you should not hesitate to contact them. I needed my remodeled kitchen cabinets to be painted, as well as the trim, doors, and a few walls throughout the house. Carl came to the house at my convenience to create a time and price estimate for the project. His time and price estimate was very reasonable and realistic.

The crew showed up a week later on the scheduled day and time we set - no one stood me up for once! A painter who tried to do the job a month before but royally screwed it up, left a mess for the painters to have to fix to make everything looking perfect. They knew exactly was they needed to do to fix things and got right to work. They took a short lunch each day and completed their day's work around 5pm. They prepped extremely well on day 1 and took care in covering anything open to the paint sprayer that should be covered as well as being careful not to scratch or dent the kitchen appliances, counters, floor, lights, etc. Perfect prep job, in my opinion, complete with the entire room being sealed off from the rest of the house.

Carl said the entire job would take 5 days and he estimated correctly - including touching up small things on the last days to make sure things were perfect. They took such care to sand, prime, and paint properly that I would not hesitate to contact them again for future projects. Also, Carl uses high quality paint and makes sure you love the color before he proceeds. The finished product is beautiful and the cost was exactly what was estimated. No hidden costs or anything like that whatsoever.

Carl and his team did a great job. I'm preparing to sell my house so multiple rooms needed re-painting and post foundation work repair. His guys came in and did everything as promised and even fixed some things that previous painters did wrong at no additional cost. I'll definitely be using Fantastic Finishes again when we move to our new house.

Carl and his crew did a fantastic job painting our kitchen cabinets, inside and out. They were easy to communicate with, priced very competitively, and delivered a terrific outcome. Their attention to detail and the care they take in prepping/cleaning the jobsite (our home) was also refreshing. We will certainly be working with them on any future painting jobs!

Carl's team did a great job on the exterior paint and repairs for our home. We were very pleased with the price and quality of their work. The scheduling was prompt, and the team arrived early. They did the job in a day less than was quoted and they cleaned up very well after the project was done. Fantastic Finishes did a wonderful job on our house. I took the time to get 3 quotes from other paint companies. Fantastic Finishes was the only one that I had a referral from, and they were also the best price. I had never met the owner Carl before, but after meeting him, I knew he was going to stand behind his work. We painted the inside and outside of the house, along with painting our kitchen cabinets, some repairs and texturing changes. We had two different crews work on our house, and both did a stellar job. There were a few touch ups after the job that needed to be done and with out hesitation Carl made sure everything was completed to satisfaction. True Customer Service!

The worst experience ever. Carl is a complete lying SOS. He sent a painter into our house who could not paint and after having her return for the 3rd time there are still drips everywhere. Neither Carl or the painter would review the work which left my wife to work hours pointing out each mistake. When we would complain Carl just kept telling us how horrible his personal life was, would never check the work and then started accusing us of yelling at his painter (which we never did). Carl and his company Fantastic Finishes should be avoided at all cost!

We just had our entire home painted and it looks unbelievable . Carl and his team are great to work with . They had the most
competitive price and have made themselves available post job if anything pops up . We highly recommend

I had a great experience with Fantastic Finishes. Carl and his team (in my case Daniel and Alex) did wonderful work. I am very particular about attention to detail, and I feel they took good care of my rooms. As they were finishing up, they wanted to ensure I was satisfied, so they even let me walk around and inspect for last minute touches. I appreciate that they were nice about my nits, which most people would not care about, and were happy to do them.

I would use Carl's team again and would recommend them to friends.

Update: I have since used Carl's team for my entire home exterior. My review and rating (five starts) were reconfirmed by this experience.

2024 Update: Fantastic Finishes painted our entire home. The work is beautiful inside and out! I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail on the inside. I only blue taped about six spots when Armando was there finishing up. For a house our size, that was much less than I expected. Beyond that, Armando was kind about my asks and immediately addressed them perfectly.

Carl and his team did a top notch job painting the entire interior of our house. They painted ceilings, walls, baseboards and trim. They were very clean, leaving everything in pristine condition. Carl was wonderful to work with and extremely accommodating with all of our requests. I had several bids and Fantastic Finishes was very competitive. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Fantastic Finishes again.

His team worked diligently and carefully, I was especially impressed with their taping and covering to protect the surfaces of our home and attention to detail when painting. I am incredibly impressed with the owner, Carl Howerton, and his crew with their professionalism and remarkable workmanship on painting the exterior of my home. Their thoroughness and attention to detail was evident upon completion of the job. I have already recommended Fantastic Finishes Paint Company to my neighbors and friends.

This company was recommended on social media and therefore engaged them for full exterior painting job. The owner, Carl, is just a sales guy does not oversee the work of the contractor. I paid more than double what other companies quoted for a substantially subpar job. Carl even charged me extra since he insisted I told him the wrong colors for fascia and soffit and he supposedly purchased too much of one color. I agreed to the extra cost because it’s not worth an argument and I know it’s bad business on his part (he had nothing written down and I caught it before they painted) in the end there’s was less than 1/2 gallon of each color remaining for touch up’s. The following day I had to call a new painter to fix the sloppy job. Carl couldn’t be bothered to even inspect the work. He told me he did a drive by- what a joke. I made a huge mistake engaging this company. Yes, I’m having the work done right now but I spent way more than necessary had I gone with a legit company from the start.
I would highly suggest you interview and hire the person actually performing the work vs going through a middle man.
They started the job on a Tuesday and completed the work the following Thursday (over a week). Not sure why there’s good reviews, maybe I drew the short straw with the painter I got assigned. Don’t take your chances, it can be costly.

Carl Howerton, owner, has done several paint jobs for us in the past. Last week they painted a large portion of the interior, the exterior and our fence. Everything looks great. Careful with protecting everything! Carl is responsive, communicates well and is reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

My dishwasher was so loud, it sounded like gravel in a dryer. The tech opened it up and found a piece of broken glass had gotten into the wash pump. Cleared it out, ran a cycle to confirm, and it's been silent since. Didn't take long at all.
