Mr Austin and his crew are great. I had a really big tree that too close to my house and it really bothered me and my insurance agent. I was very amazed at how the crew could take the tree down, under Mr Austin’s directions, without any damage to my home.
His company, 361 Tree & Landscaping, is insured and can provide a copy for your records.
Another good thing is he will come out and survey the job and offer me a very fair price.
His crew didn’t slack off; I could tell they had good work ethics. Even though it was a hot day, they worked well and without complaints. They were friendly and attentive to my job. As a retired master gardener I was very impressed and satisfied. They removed my garden plants to a safe area before starting.
I am glad I found My Austin and I know I will use his services again. I hope you will give this company a chance to do your work. You won’t be disappointed.

A couple of weeks ago we ordered ten Jingle Bells poinsettias for our club's Christmas luncheon. Since these hybrid plants are in relatively short supply we ordered well in advance and picked them up today. To say the least we were blown away the excellent condition of the plants and how well they had been prepared for transport. Furthermore, they had been "banded" to prevent them from "drooping" or breaking stems. The members of our group thought that the plants definitely added a positive element to our luncheon

Four monts ago, after searching different places to purchase a queen palm tree, we finally decided to buy from Gills Nursery. This is the first time we have ever bought from any nursery. Just recently I requested a service call & was beyond happy that Mr. Gill himself cared enough to come and assure me himself that all is well. He also did a few touch ups in which I am very grateful for. While speaking with Mr. Gill I realized how caring & devoted this company is. We are beyond happy with our palm tree & with Gill Nursery. Mr. Gill you totally rock!!!

Fantastic nursery and staff, through and through. I’ve always shopped at Gil’s for all of our landscaping, floral, gardening and Christmas tree needs but was in store several days ago perusing around the roses, deciding which to purchase. A staff member quickly assisted me and educated me on a beautiful rose bush that I wouldn’t have purchased without her knowledge and enthusiasm for the beautiful roses she had herself. I just wanted to take the time to say thank you - as we currently navigate these unchartered waters across our globe - she and my now beautiful roses I love, love, love, truly brightened my day. Thank you!

I love it when a place talks me out of spending money!

I had an idea for building a trellis and incorporating it into the existing plants in my back yard to increase privacy. I walked in, had three people helping me, asking questions and giving advice. My idea was bad, they gave a couple of reasons why, how I could use my existing plants to obtain the same goal! I didn't spend a $$$.

There's a reason why all my friends told me to go to Gill, they were awesome. I was ready to drop a couple of hundred dollars, a day of work...I can use that to build, fly, crash more r/c airplanes. Thank you!!!

We have used Gill's Nursery twice since living in the Lakes and have never been disappointed. Phillip Elbert was amazing in planning out where to install a brick patio. He picked out the perfect color bricks that matched our house and concrete. He had the new sod put in so that drainage did not pool onto the patio when it rains. His crew Kevin and Brandon and the rest were very professional and friendly. Phillip and crew will do an amazing job and you will not be disappointed.

It seems that every time I come into the store and buy something I am happy with it it. Also seems that every time I call them with a problem with any of my plants they have a solution which works. I guess I'm just saying that they are what I'm looking for in a nursery. Glad they're in my neighborhood.
2017 August update: Still a great place to buy things. So much better than the big box stores. Plants from Gill's just seem to survive better and every time I have issues they have a solution that actually works. In the end I spend less money overall than at other places because I get plants that live and don't buy unnecessary stuff. Just wish they had the store near me still but worth the drive to the current one.

Excellent. Ernest designed a perfect landscape for my completely barren small backyard. I had requested specifically:
- Pretty, as viewed from all angles and from every window in my house.
- Interesting to a dog, like some room to run, secret passageways behind trees, against fence, etc. The yard is so tiny but would be the only real surroundings a dog would have.
- Sustainable, or will bounce back after freeze.
- Tropical, if at all possible, with plants like philodendron and banana trees.
- Plants that work in the very sunny and very shady parts.
- Blossom colors red, white, yellow and orange only, with lots of greenery of course.
- AND will attract birds, butterflies and bees.
He drew up a PERFECT plan. Huge variety of plants. It was just installed, so the plants are young, but the whole appearance should be lush and colorful in a year. Just love it. Could never have done any of this on my own. The price was surprisingly reasonable. I highly recommend these services.

I'm truly sorry that I haven't posted this wonderful, great, positive experience I had in 2018 with Gill Landscape Nursery. My husband bought two trees from them to be planted in our front yard. I had some guys here working already for me so they put them in the ground. Gill Nursery had given us a paper with step by step directions on planting them and caring for them. After about 2 months I noticed one of them loosing leaves and looking bad. I called immediately and spoke to James. He came out and looked at it and had two great guys come over and they brought it up 2 inches and gave me further instructions. James asked me to contact him after two weeks if it didn't look considerably better, it didn't. Gill Nursery came back and dug it up and replaced it with a beautiful tree. They did everything they committed to in their contract for their beautiful products. I couldn't have been happier and I appreciate them from the bottom of my heart. I have been purchasing things from Gill's for many years and have been satisfied with everything I have ever bought. I wouldn't go any place else. Now I need to call them to Landscape my front. A HUGE thank you to Gill Landscape Nursery.

The tree a bought was very healthy. Wyatt explained to me how to care for it before the purchase. The installation crew was terrific!

I grew up playing in my grandparents’ greenhouses in Arkansas, and though I didn’t inherit their green thumb, I soaked up their love for joyful blooms and wily stems. When my husband and I bought a house with drab landscaping, we decided to turn to Gill’s for help. We LOVE what Harry chose for our front yard—there is so much personality and texture! He really listened to what we were looking for and went above and beyond. Our little girl has been watching the bees and butterflies flit around with glee—and I have been popping around the house to savor the view from every angle and window. On installation day, our neighbor who has been in her home for 60+ years came out to watch in giddiness. She and I walked arm-in-arm through each bed while I explained to her what each plant is. It was a “Thin Moment” that felt like walking around a garden with my late grandmother, who has been deadheading celestial plants for 25 years. What a gift this landscape will be for years to come! A HUGE THANK YOU to Harry and the rockstar installation crew!

I have never had a bad experience at Gill’s Garden center and I have been shopping there for over 12 plus years.

There have been times when I have had to wait to be helped as all the associates were busy helping other customers, which Is totally understandable and there have been too many times to count in which an associate spent valuable time with me and taught me something new about gardening or showed me a better plant option for my yard.

Gill’s Garden Center may be more expensive than the big box stores but you get excellent customer service and excellent gardening advice and that to me is priceless. IMHO.

The inventory of plant materials is always healthy and plentiful. Staff is helpful with a wealth of knowledge. The prices are in line with the quality and the nursery is well kept and laid out nicely.

Tested and true experienced professionals with sound advice. Not just looking to make recommendations to cost you unnecessary expenses. James did a great job on our yard consult. Sure appreciate his advise, experience, and advice. Other employees were very helpful while we were looking at the nursery and offered options for our project. We look forward to working with Gills in the future. Would highly recommend their services and staff.

I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE for gerber daisies because it’s one of the few pretty air cleaning plants that isn’t toxic to dogs. I was in the area after work and decided last minute to check this place out since they were still open. They had fresh blooming Gerber daisies front and center as soon as I walked in! Then when I went to the outside, I couldn’t believe how beautiful and neatly organized it was. All the plants I looked at were fresh and healthy.

I very recently worked with Gil's and specifically Harry Villarreal and the installation crew (Kevin, Mike, Brandon and Juan) and I can only say WOW! These guys are professional, meticulous, talented, courteous, and VERY HARD WORKING. They did what they said they would do and when they said they would do it - very unusual these days! They absolutely transformed my back yard pool area. I assure you that you will not be sorry by having Harry plan the design and this team make the plan come to life!

We have been to Gills several times and have always been met with a helpful friendly staff. They take the time to answer questions and guide us through the store without ever putting pressure to buy. Wyatt is our favorite staff member in the store!
The plants are all healthy and they have a great selection. Even the store peaceful and laid out in such a way that you feel like you are at a botanical garden.
We have used them to landscape our front and back yards. Phillip is an amazing designer and we have been enjoying our personal oasis for two years now.
Every experience I have had with them has been a 5 star experience!

Gill Garden Center did great for our front yard, was a quick weekend project with basic landscaping including various plants and a small tree. Since this went well, our landscape designer Ernest reassured us they would be able to help re-grade our backyard along with laying sod and planting a few plants.

This second experience with them for our backyard was horrible. They dug up all of our grass to re-grade and left it like that for many months, leaving it unusable and muddy for our 2 dogs. Once they finally laid new sod in February, the grading was done incorrectly and led to pooling in different areas than the original location. They regraded these areas and left them with mud for another month once again leaving it unusable with our dogs as they would track mud.

Flash forward another month and they finally planted half of the plants but also hit our internet cable while digging and did not tell us. We had to figure it out on our own and have specialists come out and repair it.

Finally this May they finished laying new sod in these areas and finished planting the rest of the plants with an acceptable outcome. It should not have taken 5 months to have this simple project completed, and the worst part was lack of communication and unanswered emails along the way.

I cannot recommend Gill Garden Center because of this experience, only gave 2 stars because they did a much better and quicker job with our front yard.

This is the best nursery in the city. It's such a clean and organized place...great atmosphere. Friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive service is the norm for this business. I've had them do my home landscaping (loved it) and continue to shop for all my gardening and landscaping needs there. I trust them.

This is our second year getting our Christmas Tree from Gills and we couldn’t be happier! They take very good care of their inventory and last year our tree lasted long past Christmas and I don’t doubt this year it will too. Wyatt and another gentleman helped us find the perfect tree for our family this year. We truly appreciated it!

Harry did an exceptional job with our landscaping plan. The whole experience was great. The crew worked hard, and Harry came by throughout the week to make sure everything was going well. The whole project was on time and flowed seamlessly. After completion, Harry came by and went through our detailed maintenance and watering plan. Our backyard is beautiful. If you are looking for landscape work, I would definitely recommend Gill's, and ask for Harry.
