I’m new to learning about the different native Texas plants. I went to Gill Garden Center after reading reviews and viewing their website. Every employee from the time I walked into the nursery were polite and welcoming. Staff member, Wyatt gave me a rundown on the different pollinator plants and recommended which would work best for me. I love my plant! I look forward to visiting this nursery in the future. Great customer care, exceptional service. We had our landscape design done by Harry Villarreal. He listened to our ideas and came up with a beautiful design that was everything we wanted: Texas natives, drought and heat tolerant and pollinator friendly. We're delighted with the results. The installers Josh, Israel and Kevin did a fantastic job! Our transformation was done in two days and when they were done, you would never have known they were here. They hauled off all the old plants and every bit of trash, including the markers for the cable and electric. Thank you Gill Garden! We will enjoy this for years to come.

We would give this Team 10 Stars because it was earned. Harry Villarreal (Designer and Project Leader), the landscape team and Nursery. Professional, Courteous, knowledgeable, on-time, respectful of neighbors, clean, organized and provided a quality service and beautiful final product(1.6 acres property) My husband said just the other day (mid-August) "isn't it nice that we still have plants flowering in our yard". Desert (low water) landscape design and irrigation system work really well.

We started the project in January and shortly after several of the plants were in the ground a freeze hit. Gils' Team came out and covered all the plants to protect them. They installed rock, rock planter and tree boundaries, removed grass and weeds, installed weed barriers, contracted Hebert Irrigation, planted drought resistant plants the butterflies and hummingbirds love.

We are so happy with their design, plants and work, we are using them for the quarterly service to maintain the plants and trees, and move/cover all plants for the winter weather.

This garden center has an amazing collection of plants from fruits and veggies to trees and flowers. A little higher on the price range when compared to HEB and Lowe's, but I will come here if the aforementioned doesn't have the plants in looking for in stock.

Harry was our landscape designer for our new home. He came for an initial consultation and listened carefully to our vision and delivered. His team worked hard to finish the project in two days. They surpassed our expectations. Harry made sure we also had the resources to ensure our plants are well maintained in the future. We are very grateful to him and his team! Just purchased a Christmas Tree from Gill Garden Center and the customer service my family and I received was absolutely above and beyond! Evelyn went the extra mile and offered to load up our tree for me, so all I had to do was make the purchase. 10/10 highly recommend making it a point to check out what they got! You won’t be disappointed.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Free information printed out and left for those who need it right in the front (such as when to plant what, lawn care, starting a new bed, etc.). They even have a help desk dedicated to answering your questions. Very reasonable prices and great sales prices too. Beautiful plants and a very large selection at that. All the soil you could think of and all kinds of accessories for your garden. I love the prices of the pots and they have a wide variety of them. I will be coming back here for all my gardening needs and I highly recommend it to those with green thumbs. I love it here!

Harry Villarreal at Gill Garden Center thoughtfully designed low maintenance, xeriscaped plant beds that have already attracted beautiful butterflies. The installation crew was professional and meticulous. I wholeheartedly recommend hiring the professionals at Gill’s👍🏻

Clean healthy plants, beautifully areanged. Perfect time to walk through their forest of Christmas trees. The smell is incredible! Very knowledgeable. They helped with exploring native plans options and were patience.
