They don't pick up recycling. Then when you request that they pick up recycling, it goes in the trash. Their claims about being environmentally friendly are lies. I would wager that most recycling ends up in the trash anyway. Polluting the Earth and controlling a total monopoly on waste management in the region. Shame on Texas Disposal Systems.

Worse customer service ever. Recycle was not picked up in our neighborhood in Georgetown, TX on 4/9/20, called to request to have ours picked up. Driver picked up the first recycle bin he saw in our street and not ours. Called again and they stated that my bin was overflowing. I told them my bin was never picked up! Its only me and my wife living here. Upper management needs to look into these issues more and all employees should be trained on customer service, including their supervisors. They just don't care. This is just poor management!!!

I wish there was a no stars button. they hire trash guys that literally walk over garbage that THEY drop. Get that environmental friendly bs out of your tag line. This company does not care about your community. This company needs to be investigated for the environmental damage along with monopolization of an entire region/ industry in texas. Where is waste management when you need them. This does not go down in New York like this and that place is filthy. please do better or just dont at all.

They do NOT care about customers. Part of their training is to lie to new customers assuring them that they will come back by if they missed the pick up. They won't, I've tired twice. I demanded the name of the person that told me this when my account was opened. They conveniently only recorded the initials of the representative that opened my account. May all management of this company be blessed with trashy lives!

Unethical billing practices. They do not disclose the fuel surcharge in the line-item price layout. There's blocks for "other charges" and "specify other charges". Both of these were left blank. Now we are being charged a 15% fuel surcharge that was never itemized. Very deceptive business practice.

If you do go with this company, be sure to have them tell you how much the fuel surcharge will be for your area. To be honest, it's not the price that bothers me, it's the fact that they did not disclose the charge and then hit you after-the-fact.

I’ve had multiple issues with TDS not picking up my trash cans, and this most recent situation is completely unacceptable. One of their customer service reps entered my email address incorrectly, which meant I never received payment reminders. Since I have to manually enter my card info to make payments, I had no idea anything was due.

To make things worse, there were no efforts made to contact me through any other means — no call, no letter, nothing. They just stopped service.

Now I’m being charged extra for them to come “clean up” my trash bins, which are full because they haven’t picked them up. I have nowhere to put new trash, and I’m being forced to pay for a mistake they made.

The lack of accountability and communication is ridiculous. Mistakes happen, but customers shouldn’t have to pay the price for employee errors. TDS seriously needs to improve their systems and take responsibility when they mess up.

One star for Texas Disposal Systems. Dealing with their customer service and whoever is supposed to be in charge has been a complete waste of time. I can’t reach a single person who has common sense or the authority to actually do anything that would actually be a benefit to their business.

I’m in Spicewood and TDS is literally the only dumpster company that serves this area. Before we ever started service, I went out and trimmed every tree and cleared every obstacle so their truck could get up our property with no problem. They serviced us fine for several months.

Then one driver suddenly decided the rear end of his truck was scraping the road when he pulled onto the inclined driveway of our business. Okay, fair enough. The real problem is they were using the residential trucks with terrible approach angles for the small dumpster that we had. The fix is simple: upgrade us to a bigger dumpster that gets picked up by a front-load truck instead. Those trucks have the axle placement that handles steep driveways without scraping.

I have explained this exact solution to their customer service rep Karina multiple times. Based on how her grammar and how she writes back, she either doesn’t understand English well enough or just can’t grasp what I’m saying.

When I specifically ask for a front-load truck, they tell me there are none on our route. That’s a straight-up lie. I see one driving down my exact road every single Thursday around 5 p.m.
So either they don’t get it or they’re too lazy to make one small change to their route. Either way, we now have zero trash service. We’re forced to burn our trash or haul everything to the dump ourselves, when this would be the easiest thing in the world for them to fix.

    Do not use this company.
