Called for an inspection because our a/c went out. At first, they said they couldn’t make it that day. I told them how close I was, and then they said “I was lucky because there was a sudden cancellation”. They showed up in 30 minutes or so, and did not mention any service call fees on the phone before or in person during.

I had already taken the panel off myself to check the capacitor, and the lady took my information while the technician checked the unit. Even at this point, no mention of service call fee at all. Tech spent 5 mins checking capacitor and then determined it was the fan motor. Tech started to leave, and the lady asked “aren’t you going to put the panel back on” and the tech said “no, he can do it”…

They then said they would email me a quote for the repair. Instead, I got an email with an invoice for a service call of $125. And a separate email for the repair quote. I would of been fine with the service call fee if it was mentioned at some point and agreed upon, but, to not mention it before, during, or even after, and just sending an invoice is poor customer service to say the least. And then the technician refusing to put the panel back on after a 5 minute inspection, and then charging $125 for it is ridiculous.

I emailed them back after paying the service call invoice and let them know that I would not be continuing due to the multiple reasons I listed.

No response.

2 days later I get a text message saying “hey we’re starting on your warranty process but we never heard back from you, but we should have the part in a couple days”.
I texted them back and stated “No thank you”, and I showed them the email I had sent (I sent it twice actually) and then the lady had the audacity to lie over text and say they mentioned their service call and pricing.

Terrible customer service, terrible communication, and then dishonesty as well.
Would not recommend.

I've been a customer of Rhino's since moving to the Aubrey area in early 2020. They communicate well with me as a customer, uising e-mail, text and the phone. Their service philosophy is that preventive maintenance expends the life of the equipment. Given the cost of new AC/Heat, that is a philosophy I can get behind, especially since my home still has builder-grade units. Service seems thorough to me. The process includes photos of any issues found (rust is a problem for me, but not a functional problem yet, and I've seen the photos to show it). They take an interest in what I want and help educate me on good practice for using my units without doing things to shorten their lives. Like change the filters every month. All of their habits push my buttons in a good way. Fully recommend them for you too.

My wife and I were dealing with our 20 year old HVAC system struggling to keep up in the summer, which wasn’t an option with a baby on the way. From the initial appointment to the installation of a new unit, Rhino took care of us and clearly communicated everything along the way. If you’re in the Little Elm area, strongly consider these guys if you need help with your AC!

After an older system had some issues, they came out to fix the problem. Everything was all good until a final inspection revealed that the system has finally seen the end. We were provided with several options to fit whatever budget we may have, including simply replacing the faulty part (coils).

After some deliberation we decided it was time to do it right and replace the system. We selected the best thing we could within our budget, and Rhino did what hey could to get us on the books as quickly as possible (appreciated during this hot Texas summer).

They helped get us through until install day, and when the time came, they showed up on time and we had anew system up and running in about 4 hours. I'd recommend them for and heating and cooling work.

I wish I could give more then 5 stars to Rhino Air. Ryan came to my home to fix a control panel on our heating unit. Was prompt, efficient and super friendly. He got everything up and running I could not be happier with his service. I will for sure use them in the future and highly recommend you do the same I know that you will not be disappointed.

I am impressed with the knowledge both had on air conditioning and how it needed to be fixed!! Appointment time was met, friendly, and communicated problems with my unit effectively. I will definitely use their services again if needed! I recommend Rhino air for your repairs!!

Met Ryan the service tech and he knew what the hell he was doing diagnosed the unit in 5 min and had it repair in 4 min friendly guy made me feel comfortable in my home lol cool guy , I'll always call rhino air conditioning company

Great customer service and trust worthy 100%.

In August 2018, two of our AC units went out and the third was on the fritz. I met with and received quotes from three of the “top-rated” companies in the area and felt like I was either being talked down to or scammed by each of them. Desperate for a company we could trust, I reached out to our contractor at Trinity Roofing for a referral and he highly recommended Ryan at Rhino Air. What a difference! Ryan and Yvonne are hard-working, reliable and trustworthy business owners who will fairly and accurately assess your HVAC issues and work with you to develop a plan that is within your budget. We had them replace all three of our units and we could not be more pleased with the quality of their work. We had them out again this week to complete our complimentary 6-month checkup and filter change and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received.

My parents had an issue with one of their units shortly after Ryan completed our installation, and they were thrilled with the job Ryan did.

I highly recommend Rhino Air and want to encourage anyone with HVAC needs to give them a call! Ryan and Yvonne run their business with integrity, quality and exceptional customer service and those qualities are not always easy to find when your AC goes out in August.

We have always have great service with Rhino Air. They installed a new unit a couple of years ago in our house in Paloma Creek Neighborhood & have taken wonderful care of us ever since. I highly recommend Rhino Air for all your HVAC needs!

Terrific service. Have used them multiple times over the years, on 2 homes. Saved us $$$ in the past, when competitor said a new unit was needed, when actually only single part needed replacement. Latest event was AC unit went out, on weekend, during July Texas heat. I was unsure when they could come out to service-not optimistic, guessing we were not the only one with AC problems, called Monday morning, they came out that afternoon to diagnose the problem. Grateful for their prompt service, able to obtain parts and provide install in only 4 days. New system install by lunch time Friday. In the time we have lived in our home, has not felt cooler!! Gentleman and TEAM who came out provided great service, including walking me through what they did, including answering my questions about possible future improvements. 100% recommended and will use them again (hopefully not too soon in the future!!)

WORST EXPERIENCE with Rhino Air Conditioning and Heating

If you enjoy wasting your time, money and being talked down to then this is the company for you! I have noticed reading other reviews from unhappy customers, which I wish I would have done before contacting them. They will not take any accountability. I’m sure there will be a lovely response below this trying to debunk my review but please take the time to read the bad reviews they are spot on! Horrible experience, Ryan and Jessica are extremely rude and unprofessional. They will ignore you after you pay and not fix the problem.

Great experience using Rhino Air to replace my indoor and outdoor system. The pricing is what really caught my attention, they were very fair and also the least expensive of the original quotes I received. Also happy to support a small/local business as they take pride in the service to their local community. Ryan/Yvonne do a great job! Will be using Rhino air for all future service with my HVAC needs.

I highly recommend Rhino Air Conditioning and Heating. Another HVAC company recommended I replace both my air handler and outdoor unit. Rhino Air told me the outdoor unit was in good shape. I only needed a new air handler. Not only did they save me over $6k, but they were able to quickly order and install my new air handler. They were very professional and did an excellent job. Please give Rhino Air a call before committing to purchasing a new unit from anyone else!

Ryan & Yvonne are fantastic! I can't thank Ryan enough for coming over before his scheduled appointments when our A/C stopped working properly in the middle of the night. My heating system failed last night around 10:00pm and the temperature dropped below 32 degrees. And it was cold . I looked on The next door app and searched for a heating and air conditioning company to schedule for repair Service and I selected Rhino Air Conditioning and Heating.

I called after 8:00am to schedule a call and explained what i was experiencing with the heating unit and that I had no heat, and And the young lady that answered the call, set me up tentatively for one to 3 PM for a service call, I sent all my contact information and she was so diligent and understanding the emergency need to get a repair done as fast as possible due to the freezing temperature, she was able to provide a technician at 10:00 AM.

This is what I call service and looking out for the Customer with empathy and compassion. I didn’t have to mention anything and they took care of what I needed .

All is up and running right now and I have heat now I’d like to recommend to anyone else who is experiencing any type of heating and air-conditioning failures and issues to call Rhino Air Conditioning & Heating because they care , the technicians are knowledgeable, as they fix and repair the tech Explains everything along the way.

Great services! They have maintained my HVAC system for 4 years, and when I needed to replace my unit, they did the work and installed a new Trane system. The owner is personable, very knowledgeable, and professional!
