The best electrician in DFW! Originally we wanted someone to come and check out a hot wire a plumber found when our broken sewer line was being replaced. The electrician came out, inspected our crawl space wires and couldn't find any hot wire- he suspected it was previously hot from coming into contact with water from the broken pipe, but he still took the time to insulate all wires that were missing insulation and charged a fair price. After requesting a quote for exterior outlets, which was also an extremely fair price, the electrician scheduled us in the following week and did an incredible job.
He always showed up on time if not early, was extremely respectful and made efforts to be as clean as possible when working in the home. Gunnels will be the only electrician we work with while we live in DFW moving forward.

The job this company did for us in McKinney was an outright mess from beginning to end. Communication was practically nonexistent, deadlines were treated like vague suggestions, and the quality of the electrical work was so poor it left us questioning whether anyone competent ever showed up. We had to chase them repeatedly just to get basic updates, and even after they claimed the job was “finished,” several issues were still hanging in the air with no intention on their part to fix them.
Hiring them turned into a frustrating, time‑wasting ordeal, and we walked away feeling ignored, overcharged, and stuck with work that shouldn’t have passed even the most lenient inspection. Get multiple quotes, get everything in writing, and honestly—consider choosing someone else entirely.

This is my second time to use Zubras Electric and they have been excellent both times. I had them come out to my church to add an additional breaker and two dedicated outlets. They did a great job with it. Everything works great and looks clean. They were very knowledgable, friendly, and was able to do the work much better than other electricians I have used before. Sam and Palmer both did a great job.

I want to share my experience with Zubras Electric, a company that offers after hours service for electrical emergencies. I had a power outage in my home last Saturday, and I was worried that I would be without air conditioning. I called Zubras Electric and they sent Monica, one of their technicians, to fix the problem.

Monica was very friendly and professional. She explained what caused the outage and how she would repair it. She worked quickly and efficiently, and she restored the power in less than two hours. She also checked the wiring and circuits in my home to make sure everything was safe and up to code.

I was very impressed by Monica's skills and service. She was courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. She answered all my questions and gave me some tips on how to prevent future outages. She also charged me a reasonable fee for the after hours service, which I appreciated.

I highly recommend Zubras Electric and Monica for any electrical needs. They are reliable, trustworthy, and customer-oriented. They saved me from a lot of hassle and stress, and I am very grateful for their work.

What a disappointment!! My husband and I are attempting to get bids for a whole home Generac generator. We are interviewing and getting bids from 3 or 4 different companies. The Company #2 that came out to our home today was Zubra’s. Although the gentleman who came out was very kind, he could not answer any of our questions. I actually felt sorry for him. It appears he was thrown into the deep end. He said he didn’t really know anything about generators. He couldn’t give us a bid, he couldn’t even give us a basic price on the generator we were looking at. He told us we would have to call “Simon” The owner of the company to discuss. I asked if this individual would come out to see the house and talk to us. He said he didn’t know. “Perhaps the information I have already gathered would be sufficient for him”. Now, I made it perfectly clear when I made the appointment that we were looking at installing a whole home generator and we wanted to discuss it and get a bid. We’re very disappointed that we were not given enough care and respect to send out an individual who could answer all of our questions at the scheduled appointment. It was a complete waste of our time and a waste of this gentleman’s time. Guessing we will just move on to our Company #3. FYI, The first company that came out to give us a bid was two days ago and they were extremely thorough. They were able to answer all of our questions and give us a bid down to the penny. We discussed maintenance, future expenses, and even the size of the gas pipe. This was what we were expecting from Zubra’s 🫤.
