Jayson installed a new outlet and upgraded the wiring above our stove in order to accommodate an over-range microwave. He made sure to communicate that everything he was doing was up to code and would be very safe. He even helped my husband mount the microwave! He is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. We will absolutely be calling Jayson for all of our electrical needs in the future.

Jayson was outstanding. He did a very thorough job going beyond what was expected. He put in 4 lights in our family room, overcoming several obstacles. We are very happy with his work and definitely recommend him.

Jason is incredibly knowledgable in all things electric. He pulled my permit and put in a 50amp plug, an EV charger, as well as a generator transfer switch, and all work perfect. Along the way he also did a great job of educating me on the what, how, and why he was doing things the way he did. Came away with a better way to charge my Ford Lightning, a way to power my house from the Ford Lightning, and a much better understanding of electrical panels, switches, wiring, etc.

So my gfci outlet was bad in my garage (house is 2 years old!) I tried to change it and had issues, it’s 4th of July and I had no power to my garage! I did a google search in Corinth/Denton area and Jayson came up in my search. He and able to come over real quick and address the issue in a short amount of time and he is reasonably priced. If I ever have another issues with electricity, I’m calling him! I highly recommend him. 100%!

Jayson was On time for our appointment and was able to troubleshoot our wall outlet issue within less than 15 minutes. I had previous larger company come out to do similar work but had charge so much more and upsell, but Jason was very honest and diagnosed the issue with fair pricing.

Jayson is a dying breed. He’s old school, and everything you want in a contractor. He’s friendly, communicates well, and most of all he’s honest. In a contractor market dominated by shady practices and shortcuts, Jayson is a breath of fresh air. I called him out for what I thought was a complex issue with a GFCI circuit. I had previously been quoted hundreds of dollars to fix from another electrician, but Jayson ended up fixing it in less than 5 minutes and only charged his minimum house call fee. Do not look any further than Jayson and Higher Power Electric.

During the Jan 2026 snow storm, we lost power to our furnace / entire attic. It required troubleshooting, not a simple breaker issue. We were lucky enough to come across Jayson's business and he graciously took the call at 6 pm on a Saturday and made the drive over to us in the snow! After a bit of troubleshooting, he pinpointed the problem and had our heat restored. We are so thankful to have found him, he truly cares about helping others in need and has the experience many other electricians I've encountered lack. Another positive note is that he is not a salesman, he is interested in doing things right. I would not hesitate to call him again!
