Reviews of local pros in Denton, Texas

Let me just start this with, as I am sure many other folks share it with me, that asking a professional to do a job, places you at their mercy (think car repair, plumbers, electricians, etc.). I knew from my first 60 second conversation with Jayson, that this was going to be different. He was much more interested in trying to figure out how best to do the work most efficiently (read less hours without compromising quality) and talking that through than using words like: "oh, that's complex... can't guarantee... I'll have to come see it before I can give you a quote...".

Jayson's openness, eagerness to help, desire to service the customer is so scarce in today's world it stands out loud and clear when you see it with him! Bravo Jayson. I love your work but, as amazing as that seems, I really appreciate your attitude and approachability in everything you do. Customer service and delight really is your differentiation and it is welcome!

As the highest form of compliment I can think, I am now trying to figure out what other work I can ask you to do!

Jayson was very quick and professional. He got me set up with a new electrical socket in about a half hour. The next time I need any electrical work done, I won’t hesitate to call Jayson.

Jayson was phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable in regard to installing security cameras. Very trustworthy and affordable, he’s our go-to for further projects!

Services provided to me include new installation of a 120v plug, replacement of a 120v plug and installation of a 50amp generator connection.

Jayson was extremely professional and completed to requested job in an efficient manner. There were some issues getting a hold of parts needed for the generator plug installation; however he kept in close contact to update me on the status of the required materials and was able to work around my schedule to complete installation.

I have recommended Higher Power electric to friends and family.

Jayson has been great with his services. I have called him on a few occasions for ceiling light installation, ceiling fan installation, and some electrical work. His service is the best and is very considerate and respectful.

Jayson did a great job! Fast, friendly, highly skilled workmanship. Honest and very fair pricing. Cleaned up very well when job was completed. Would highly recommend to anyone needing electrical work. Very satisfied overall.

Excellent service from a real expert! Jayson was at the rental property when I pulled up a few minutes before the appointment time. He took the time to help us understand the possible problem and troubleshooting steps. He then identified the issue quickly, and resolved it in short order. My tenant was as pleased as I was with the entire experience.

Excellent service! Jayson at Higher Power Electric was professional, timely and helpful. He did great work installing my 220 outlet in a short time.

We have used Jayson for three different projects, and every time he is quick to respond, does a great job on the projects, and has very fair pricing. We will continue using him for all of our electrician needs!

Jayson was responsive to text on a Sunday afternoon and was able to give me an accurate time he could come out to diagnose my electrical issues.
He arrived early to the scheduled time and was ready to problem solve the cause of my breaker switching and smoke in my fixtures. Everything works like it should and I’m confident the problem was resolved.

Great service from a professional who does excellent work at reasonable prices. Will be using every time I need anything electrical.

Jayson was a pleasure to work with, he was on time friendly, professional , did the job correctly and quickly. He cleaned up the jobsite. His prices are Fantastic. I will use Jayson with Higher Power Electric for all my electrical needs.

Jayson is amazing! He helped us with our issues with our breakers. He spent hours at our home and completely redid our kitchen wiring. Great pricing and even called to follow up. As parents of small children, we feel much safer at home. Highly recommend.

Jayson was able to install my Ring floodlight/camera quickly and professionally for a fair price. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to troubleshoot another issue I had with my doorbell (a blown transformer). I will definitely be using his services again in the future.

Jayson was incredibly professional and I'm glad I hired him. The outlets he installed are now the best installed and best looking in my house. He gave a heads up and checked with me before doing anything that we hadn't previously discussed, so that there were no surprises. I would for sure recommend him!

I spoke to Jayson two or three months ago about a major issue I had at my house and he gave me guidelines and invaluable advice. So when I did need an electrician at my house.; I hired him without hesitation. He was professional and prompt and his price was reasonable too; although that was not my number one concern. I never asked what he charges. I highly recommend him. He was very efficient and fast because he knows what he's doing, brad c

Jayson installed a new outlet and upgraded the wiring above our stove in order to accommodate an over-range microwave. He made sure to communicate that everything he was doing was up to code and would be very safe. He even helped my husband mount the microwave! He is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. We will absolutely be calling Jayson for all of our electrical needs in the future.

Jayson was outstanding. He did a very thorough job going beyond what was expected. He put in 4 lights in our family room, overcoming several obstacles. We are very happy with his work and definitely recommend him.

Was very pleased with the service , the price and best of all the genuine good nature of Jayson Jolivette of Higher Power Electric. Was even kind enough to show and teach me a few things too. Highly recommend if you like having an a great experience.

Jason is incredibly knowledgable in all things electric. He pulled my permit and put in a 50amp plug, an EV charger, as well as a generator transfer switch, and all work perfect. Along the way he also did a great job of educating me on the what, how, and why he was doing things the way he did. Came away with a better way to charge my Ford Lightning, a way to power my house from the Ford Lightning, and a much better understanding of electrical panels, switches, wiring, etc.
