Reviews of local pros in Denton, Texas

Amazing & affordable to military families.
Very respectful, kind, caring, heart of gold, dependable, reliable, & on time.
Thank you so much.

Jayson was very prompt and courteous. He successfully troubleshot and solved a major electrical problem we were having. His quote was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend him for any electrical needs you may have.

Excellent!!! Jayson installed my ceiling fans & additional electrical outlets in my new built townhome, and his work was excellent & professional. Arrived on time, know exactly what to do, and had suggestions better than my ideas. I have already asked for a quote for addition work. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend High Power Electric. Jayson was great to work, easy to talk to and made sure that we were taken care of!

I highly recommend Jason for your electric needs. He recently installed and hardwired a car charger in our garage for us and did a great job. Very friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. Pricing was very reasonable...better than you will find with a commercial contractor.

Jason is absolutely amazing, he is dependable, very knowledgeable and his service is top notch.

So my gfci outlet was bad in my garage (house is 2 years old!) I tried to change it and had issues, it’s 4th of July and I had no power to my garage! I did a google search in Corinth/Denton area and Jayson came up in my search. He and able to come over real quick and address the issue in a short amount of time and he is reasonably priced. If I ever have another issues with electricity, I’m calling him! I highly recommend him. 100%!

Jayson is a good man and he did everything. He said he would do. He exceeded my expectation. I will use him again.

Jayson is very knowledgeable in his trade. He fixed couple of the issues at my home swiftly. He is also a friendly person and explains the steps. I would hire him again for any electrical needs

I needed an outlet/circuit installed in my garage. I had a bid from a large national chain but wanted to get a second opinion. I reached out to Jayson (Higher Power Electric) and boy am I glad I did. Jayson was incredible! He was extremely professional and easy to talk to. The bid was substantially below that national chain and once he got started he was done in no time and it looked great. If you're looking for a LOCAL electrician you can trust, Jayson's your guy!

It's great having an electrician I can call and know that I'll be getting the best work at the best price without having to set up a bunch of different bids.

Amazing experience with Jayson. Incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. The work was top-notch and completed efficiently. I highly recommend him for any electrical needs.

Needed some extra electrical capacity in my garage, and tried my best to find a proper master electrician. Found him! What a highly skilled, and highly knowledgeable electrician Jayson is! Absolutely top notch, and friendly, courteous, and communicative to boot!

The real kicker was that he not only did clean, professional work, but he came in a fair bit cheaper than any of the larger electrician shops.

Cannot recommend him enough! And now I have to go see what his wife's boba shop in the Denton mall is all about! Thanks Jayson!!!

Jayson has now helped me twice and the service and response is outstanding! He came over out of hours to restore power to my house over the Christmas holidays. He is my go to electrician!

Jayson came quickly, did a clean and professional job. Great call.
I prompted Chat GPT to tell me who the highest rated independent electrician was in the area, and that's how we found Jayson. He was even better than Chat GPT said!:)

Jayson was On time for our appointment and was able to troubleshoot our wall outlet issue within less than 15 minutes. I had previous larger company come out to do similar work but had charge so much more and upsell, but Jason was very honest and diagnosed the issue with fair pricing.

Jayson is a dying breed. He’s old school, and everything you want in a contractor. He’s friendly, communicates well, and most of all he’s honest. In a contractor market dominated by shady practices and shortcuts, Jayson is a breath of fresh air. I called him out for what I thought was a complex issue with a GFCI circuit. I had previously been quoted hundreds of dollars to fix from another electrician, but Jayson ended up fixing it in less than 5 minutes and only charged his minimum house call fee. Do not look any further than Jayson and Higher Power Electric.

During the Jan 2026 snow storm, we lost power to our furnace / entire attic. It required troubleshooting, not a simple breaker issue. We were lucky enough to come across Jayson's business and he graciously took the call at 6 pm on a Saturday and made the drive over to us in the snow! After a bit of troubleshooting, he pinpointed the problem and had our heat restored. We are so thankful to have found him, he truly cares about helping others in need and has the experience many other electricians I've encountered lack. Another positive note is that he is not a salesman, he is interested in doing things right. I would not hesitate to call him again!

Jason brings a lot of reliable skill and knowledge to the job, so the work is smooth and efficient. It's great to have a licensed electrician taking care of business who has your utmost confidence. Very reasonable price for the level of service and expertise.

We had such a great experience with Jayson! We called this morning needing an outlet added, and he was able to come out the same day, which was a huge help. He was super friendly, worked quickly, and everything looks perfect. It’s so nice to have an electrician we can trust. We’ll definitely be calling Jayson again for anything we need in the future!

When I needed an electrical panel replaced, everyone I knew recommended Jayson. The equipment he recommended, the work he did, and the insight he had in anticipating recent code requirements was perfect. The price was more than reasonable. Will I use him for the next project - oh, yes - in a heartbeat.

We had a 50-amp generator outlet and interlock installed, and I couldn’t be happier with the work. The electrician had to move several breakers, reconfigure part of the panel, and everything was done cleanly and professionally. He also re wired a problematic pool valve for me. He was punctual, friendly, communicated clearly, and took the time to make sure everything was working correctly before leaving. The quality of the installation looks excellent, the price was fair, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done.
