Reviews of local pros in Denton, Texas

I was in the process of selling my home when a hydro static test failed on my plumbing. With the closing date nearing and time running out, AM plumbing was able to squeeze us in to their scheduling and get us fixed up. They were able to successfully remove the damaged drain line and install new pvc in a couple if hours. They were able to do the repair and test the lines again all within a day. Theyre pricing was the more reasonable of all of the plumbing companies that had come out. Can i mention the customer service over the phone? With things getting hectic, the lady on the phones was able to give me full 5 star service and make the entire selling process less painful. She was able to provide me with everything i was being asked for from the buyer, and almost instantaneously so we were able to prevent the close date from extending.

Updated: So it turns out 1) they actually cracked the base of the toilet they reseated so it will eventually have to be replaced and 2) they didn’t seat the now-cracked toilet well and it started rocking soon after service. My partner has emailed them at least twice now and they haven’t responded. Boo.

AM Plumbing was recommended to us by two different friends after we had bad experiences with two other plumbing services, leaving us with a leaking toilet for days. AM Plumbing scheduled us for next-day service and took care of everything on our list - the leaking toilet, snaking a clogged bathtub drain, and replacing an old toilet - in under two hours. They even hauled away the old toilet so we wouldn’t have to remove it ourselves. We worked with Lionel, who was very polite, friendly, and helpful. I can see why two different people recommended AM to us - would call again if we need more plumbing help!

They were great. Listened to me and promptly fixed my problem. Came out quickly

They were efficient, kind, amazing and clean with their work. I am well pleased!!!! They removed roots from a drain.

Thank you Louie and your staff, especially Fabian and Jeff! I am always thankful on how they can trouble shoot an issue and fix it without destroying my walls and floor. I have had them out twice now in my home, recently to replum my gas lines, they were determined to find every leak and fix it and they did!

The other issue is when I had a slab leak, not knowing about A&M Plumbing (this was several years back), I got several estimates. A&M Plumbing was the only company that suggested a way to fix the issue without tearing down sheet rock and cabinets. I am so glad I trusted them to do the job!
I am grateful for the good job they have done and will continue being a loyal customer.
Thank you Louie of A&M Plumbing for your kindness and honesty.

A close friend recommended AM Plumbing when we needed an evaluation during an inspection of a home we were selling. Mr. Lopez could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable! He helped us tremendously by doing a thorough and honest appraisal and repairs. We are extremely pleased with the high quality service and prompt response we received -- we now have a new plumber and could not be happier about it! AM Plumbing is outstanding and we highly recommend this business.

Jeremy and his partner came and evaluated our needs and determined it was a minor issue. They were straightforward and didn’t try to up sale.

I had an outstanding experience with AM Plumbing, and I can’t say enough good things about James Cook, the technician who came out to help. From the moment I was notified he was on the way, the communication was professional and timely.

James arrived with a great attitude, was extremely respectful, and clearly knows his craft. He diagnosed the problem quickly, explained everything in detail, and completed the work efficiently and thoroughly. You can tell he takes pride in what he does.

He was also very fair and transparent with pricing—no surprises. I paid $170 for the job, and it was well worth it for the quality of service and peace of mind.

James has been with AM Plumbing since 2016, and with service like this, it’s easy to see why he’s earned nearly 1,400 five-star reviews. If you need plumbing work in Denton or nearby, I highly recommend AM Plumbing and especially James Cook.

This is the company to hire. They keep their prices fair, they’re very honest with what work needs to be done, and they’re available when I need them. Louie and the team are fantastic.

I love AM Plumbing! They have worked at my 3 properties since I started in this business 11 years ago. My previous manager introduced me to this company and I have never stopped appreciating their knowledge and professionalism. I will and have recommended this business before, and will continue to use them at ALL three of my apartment complexes!

Had a water leak in a cut off box in my yard this morning. Called AM Plumbing and they sent Fabian out to fix it. He fixed the problem in about an hour. Not only did he fix it but he went above and beyond and installed new valves and just made the whole setup much better. I am very pleased.

I really appreciate how involved the owner is in making sure the work is done correctly. He is responsive and reliable. It was so much better dealing with Haltex than a big box company.

They were very responsive. I was told my options for making the repairs and they provided the pros and cons of each option so I could make an informed decision. The quality of the work was excellent. They were very courteous and assured me if I had any problems with the repair they would take care of it. There have not been any issues.

On time and a great job. The young man was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The cost was fair. Thanks

Jonathan arrived 35 minutes after my call requesting service. He provided exemplary service to replace a soldered exterior faucet. I recommend Haltex Plumbing highly and will continue to utilize their services.

Haltex kept there appointment and knew how to remove then install the needed parts all at a reasonable price. Everything works now as it should and I would look to choose them again for any other plumbing needs.

I will be calling Haltex next time I have any plumbing issues. They are very professional and easy to deal with plus the best price around. I have several rental properties in Denton county and I’m happy to have a new plumber.

I highly recommend this company! After a slab leak in our home, we got a quote from a different company that seemed dishonest so we called Haltex. Halston took the time to explain what was going on, how he was going to fix it, and the cost breakdown. He took the time to make sure it was all done correctly and the most effective way. After it was all done, he had contractors to recommend to fix our walls, who also did a great job. From start to finish, they were honest, took care of us, and made sure the job was done perfectly. Look no further for your plumbing needs!

Mark and his assistant did a great job at identifying the issue and getting the replacement done as quickly as possible.
We are always pleased with your service.

We have used Haltex about 4 times now for various projects and they have been great to work with! Prompt scheduling, knowledgeable & friendly techs. Glad we have found a reliable company finally.

These guys were a breath of fresh air. Incredibly generous offer to help me out. Professional, polite, respectful, efficient, intelligent resolution to situation. I highly recommend them for any type of job!
