Carpentry & Woodwork reviews in El Paso, Texas

Red Oak Pergolas was so easy to work with. They provided prompt and professional services and the result (a large pergola) turned out fantastic! Solid, well-built, and looks great. They are so nice to work with. Great Job!!!!!!!!

I had a custom-made bed with side storage, and the way they designed the drawers impressed me. The sliding mechanism is smooth, and it doesn’t make noise even after regular use. The storage space underneath is deeper than I expected, which helps keep seasonal items properly stored without cluttering other areas.

I had a custom storage unit made for my office space, and they designed it in a way that separates documents, electronics, and personal items clearly. Everything has a defined section now, which makes it much easier to stay organized during work. It has improved my productivity more than I expected.

After using the custom furniture for a while, I can say it still feels practical and easy to maintain. Drawers don’t stick, surfaces are easy to clean, and nothing feels fragile. It’s clear the design was made for everyday use rather than just showroom appearance.

Awesome job!

Great turnaround time and great products.

They provide really quality work and are enjoyable to work with, quick response as well.

Awesome people to work with. They'll handle fabrication of pretty much whatever job you throw at them.

They handled a last minute job impeccably. They are professional and patient. They can make anything you dream up. Highly recommend!

Awsome company, these guys can create amazing work if you can think it they can do it. They have done 2 projects for us and they came out amazing. I will post pictures of both works shortly so you can see the awsome work they do. Keep up the good work you are doing for your community.

The guys at Compound do fantastic work. So grateful for their talents, attention to detail and openess to creating anything! I called them with a concept and they made it come to life. We love our gorgeous, one of a kind conference table. These guys can make ANYTHING!

I needed a way to free stand a pair of 7 foot doors in my art market booth. One look at the doors and within minutes Luke and Ben designed a set of stands that worked great and looked too cool. I sold the doors that day - and they wanted the stands too! Good work guys!

I was building a mid-bass enclosures for my home theater system and needed to recess some ports for a flushed appearance. Luke literally took 5 minutes to get the job done and turned out perfectly. I will definitely be talking with them for additional projects.

Great people to work with! I worked with Luke to get several plans for DIY speaker cabinets cut. He was fast, professional, and very helpful - he helped find potential flaws in the design and was very accommodating of my lack of experience. We communicated only remotely and got the parts delivered but it was very smooth. Parts arrived with tracked shipping, and price was reasonable. Will recommend to anyone, and will definitely reach out again for my next project!

Luke used a plan we found on line to make a very contemporary hall shelf. He came in as bid and on time. The shelf is carefully made and nicely finished. The plan called for gluing the shelf sections to the wall (??) but Luke designed a better, more substantial system for securing it.

He kept us informed of the project, which only took 2 weeks from ordering to installing.

I highly recommend Compound Design, and am already contemplating another job with them.

Great service, very professional craft and care for details. I am very satisfied with some restroom signs I sent to build for a client's office. Thanks guy

We worked with Luke and Ben from Compound to create massive 7 feet TEDx letters as well as our smaller 3 foot TEDxUTEP letters. The product came out perfect and the customer service was even better! The attendees of our event loved the letters and took tons of pictures with them. I highly recommend them!

Not only are these guys competent and talented, they are incredibly professional and efficient. I had a project on a tight timeline for my booth at a pop-up fair. They provided digital renderings after we discussed the project for clarity and confirmation, made a sign last minute and even finished before deadline. I look forward to using them on future projects. Thank you Ben and Luke!

Luke and Charles helped me out with a small desk project - cutting, routing, and sealing. Same day (!) service, reasonably priced, super-nice guys! Thank you Compound Design, will definitely come back with my next project!

It was a pleasure working with Luke and his crew. They are a professional company who care about their customers and pay close attention to every detail. They were always on time and helped us complete the project professionally while passing City of El Paso code inspections. We look forward to working with them in the near future!

I wanted to share a great experience with a local craftsman in case anyone here is looking for cabinet work.

Juan with JJGA Custom Cabinets did my kitchen cabinets, including refinishing and refreshing them, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The craftsmanship completely transformed my kitchen.

What really stood out was how precise and detail-oriented he is. He went through multiple stain samples and test swatches just to perfectly match my existing cabinets. That level of care matters, and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work.

He was extremely professional, respectful of my home, and easy to work with from start to finish. And he truly stands behind what he does. When we had a little water damage later on (kids and sinks ), he came back out, fixed it, and refreshed the area at no charge.

Here's the part that still surprises me: his pricing was actually less than IKEA, which is kind of wild considering this is custom, artisanal work done by hand and made to fit your space exactly.

If you're looking for someone who delivers top-tier quality and fair pricing, I highly recommend JJGA Custom Cabinets. Please contact him if you want beautiful work done right the first time.
