I reside in Hudspeth County, where unfortunately, my power company often faces issues and lacks reliability. Consequently, my power occasionally goes out, especially when it rains. Recently, I encountered a situation where I needed to connect a generator, but I encountered some difficulties. At that time, I had already been without electricity for about five hours, and my concern grew for the perishable food in my refrigerator. It was late in the night, nearly 10 o'clock, and I hesitated to call the owner of the company as I didn't want to disturb him during such a late hour. Honestly, I didn't even expect him to answer my call. Nevertheless, I gathered the courage to leave a message, assuming he would respond the next day. After that, I returned to my house and lit another candle.

To my astonishment, I received a phone call from the owner himself, who informed me that he was on his way. He explained that he was due to leave for vacation the following day but couldn't bear the thought of leaving my family and me without power. This incredible individual drove all the way to Hudspeth County, wearing what seemed like pajama sweatpants. He must have already been in bed, possibly having an early morning flight, yet he willingly got out of bed to assist my family. I couldn't believe it. He spent approximately two and a half hours at my house, diligently investigating the issue. Eventually, he discovered that there was a short circuit somewhere beneath my house, causing the generator's circuit breaker to trip. He remained until he resolved the problem, successfully connecting the generator and restoring power to my home.

I don't know about you, but I personally don't know many people who would willingly wake up at such a late hour and travel out to a remote location just to help a stranger. This man's kindness was truly a blessing to my family, and I sincerely pray that God blesses his business abundantly in return for his selflessness.
