A-1 Kitchens by Sierra

I paid a premium price and expected premium service — that is not what I received from A-1 Kitchens By Sierra.

From the start, the project was plagued by instability. Three different designers cycled through my project, none of whom are still employed there, and the office appeared to have a constant revolving door of staff. This alone should have been a red flag.

To make matters worse, the wrong size island was installed in my kitchen. Rather than owning the mistake and making it right, the company refused to take responsibility for the error. This is exactly the kind of accountability you should expect from a company charging premium prices — and it was completely absent.

To be fair, the install technicians themselves were professional and hardworking. I treated them with respect, purchased them meals, and tipped them for working weekends. My issue is not with them.

My issue is with the owner and the broken promises that followed. For 18 months I was strung along with assurances that promised touch-up work would be completed. After all that time, I was told they would not be returning to finish the job. No explanation. No accountability. Just silence.

When you charge a premium, you should stand behind your work. The decision to walk away from a committed customer after 18 months is unprofessional and a poor reflection of the integrity of this business. I would strongly caution anyone considering A-1 Kitchens By Sierra to get every promise in writing and think carefully before signing a contract.

This is the most exceptional cabinetry and woodwork experts in the southwest region area reaching central and east Texas. We were referred to them by our builders and appliance retail sources! Great service!! Look for them!

I contacted A-1 Kitchens in December and paid them to take measurements to work out. Some plans in this process has been well over six weeks since I originally called them and I received nothing.

I met with Maribel at my home a few weeks ago and yet to receive anything furthermore, I don’t think that she really even understood what I was telling her what I wanted to do with my kitchen. However, I was willing to wait until she drives some plans so we can review them. I’ve received nothing but they quit cash my check, within a day I’m receiving it.

I hate throwing people under the bus however, this is beyond ridiculous.
