Chris arranged a meeting with my husband and me regarding a large-scale backyard project, with an estimated cost of $50,000. He contacted us an hour prior to our scheduled meeting to request an earlier start time, which we agreed to. Upon his arrival, I introduced myself, but he was dismissive and unresponsive. I explained our project objectives, but he consistently directed his responses to my husband, disregarding my presence. Given my role as the financial decision-maker for our household, I found his behavior to be rude and unprofessional. During our meeting, he took two phone calls from prospective clients, further exemplifying his lack of professionalism. After completing the necessary measurements, he inquired about the proposed drainage system, and I interjected, pointing out that Chris seemed to assume my husband was the decision-maker. However, he ignored my comment, shook my husband's hand, and presented him with a business card before departing. Two hours later, he texted my husband, stating that he had an excessive workload and would be unable to undertake our project. His behavior was not only unprofessional but also discriminatory, and I am grateful that his true nature was revealed before we invested $50,000 in his company. I intend to share my experience with my network of affluent contacts, warning them about his behavior.

Chris and his team were phenomenal- on time and professional- very clean -and helped me figure out the best landscaping for me. I live out of town and I felt very confident that the job would be done right! I wanted a no maintenance yard and they delivered - thank you Chris

OUTSTANDING job! This is the second time we've hired Chris and his crew. I had a large driveway poured and there were no problems encountered. Chris stays on the job with his crew which I much appreciated. We did encounter a few unanticipated issues which we incorporated into the job. The clean-up when dealing with cement is usually an ordeal, but his workers handled all the mess and took it away. They even swept and sprayed the street beside my house insuring all debris was picked up. I'd hire him again with no hesitation.

After much searching, we contracted this company and are glad that we did. Always responsive and on time! I appreciated the feedback and suggestions they made to make our home look good now and for years to come.
I would like to note after reading the previous review, I initially reached out to this company and my interactions with Patrick and Chris were always pleasant and professional. It wasn't until we decided to move forward with contracting them that my husband came into the picture. From then on, communication was done with both of us or whoever was first available. Highly recommend!

Chris and his team were fabulous! From the time Patrick did the estimate and helped us finish the design, until the project was finished by Chris and his team, they were professional, hard working and had an amazing work ethic. Chris met up with me twice before the project and we met numerous times throughout the project. Chris and his team delivered. They started the job promptly, made adjustments as needed when the actual project was undergoing completion he always left the work site clean and organized and even did a great final cleanup at the end. I worked with a landscape architect to devise the original and it quickly became apparent there were major flaws in the blueprint I was given. Nonetheless he was able to make on the fly adjustments to maintain the original feel of the design and make it work.

I am very happy with the work I received and grateful to have met Chris and his team.

He delivered above and beyond my expectations and is a true professional with decades of experience behind him. One of the things that I liked the most was he seemed truly invested in the success of my project. He was not satisfied with checking the box and simply getting it done. He wanted to make sure it was done right.

I recommend Chris and his team without reservation for any landscaping, irrigation or misc outdoor yard work that is needed.

Chris redid our front lawn entirely to include a new driveway, sprinklers, sod, and gates to the back yard. He was very responsive and his team did great work. The yard looks great and has changed the look of our house completely. We would absolutely love to have him do more work on the house.

Chris has done work in the past for my family and family friends and does amazing work. He came to my house to consult on the job prior to any agreements and gave knowledgeable recommendations to accommodate my backyard needs. Chris gave great advice for tree selection, rock size, turf selection, and irrigation. He also gave a few different options of each to work within a price range. Chris and his team were on time and worked diligently, finishing the entire project in 2 days, updating me on yard progress constantly. His team was polite and efficient with the work speaking for itself (see photo). - Demo of unused planters
- Planting of 2 new trees
- Planting of 3 new bushes
- Alterations/repairs of current drip system to suit the needs of new trees and plants
- Installation of (puppy) turf
- Concrete lining for said turf
- installation of new rock

Chris and his team work hard and do awesome work. I waited to write this review just so I had time to live in his work. We had rockwall work done, concrete, needed a way for water to drain, and he did our turf work. He communicates well and keeps you informed. He even stepped up our work due to some other contract needing to wait so he did our work earlier than expected. Always friendly, always trying to save you a few bucks by showing options, and just a super good team.
I can't really say anything negative other than hes busy so don't expect work to be done right away, but if he can fit you in he will. Chris is awesome and his guys are really friendly. I would 100% recommend Chris and his team!

Chris did a very large job for us - transforming and empty new build sand lot into a beautiful backyard space in under 3 weeks. The job included a large back salt-finish concrete deck, an extended stamped-flagstone patio, large planters, a 20x26 basketball court and goal installation, the foundation for a 13ft swim spa (on order), artificial grass throughout, a privacy fence and custom gates, as well as irrigation and trenching for electrical, plumbing, and gas. TONS of work done VERY efficiently and professionally. Great communication throughout, very reasonable payment arrangements, courteous and friendly crew. Could not gave found a better contractor for this project. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Bought a new house that really needed work. I hired Michael Martinez to do the job of remodeling a wall that had nine awful windows. I had him basically make new wall with Patio Doors and a 72x48 inch window. Looks amazing.

Recently replaced my room flooring and bathroom flooring with Michael D. Martinez and was very pleased with the amazing work he did. Very professional, was always on time and got the work done within a good time frame. I would recommend Michael D. Martinez for any work needed around your home. 😀😀😀

Michael did a very good job installing my bathroom vanity, mirror and redoing the plumbing for my sink. Good customer service, I highly recommend.

Michael was on time, professional and took his time to get the job done right and always making sure we were happy with the progress. He was more in price than what we were hoping to pay but it was so well worth it.

Michael did a great job and really listen to what I wanted. Always honest. Put the time in to make sure things were done right and not just done fast. I don't even want to use my new bathroom yet because it is so beautiful, but it works great. Will definitely use him in the future.

Great Contractor! It is rare I give 5 stars, but this contractor did excellent work on my house. I called him when I was having a leak in the wall of my shower. He came right out, gave a very fair estimate, and followed through on everything he promised. I got 6 other estimates and interviewed others, but I gave it to him because he knew what he was talking about and was very impressionable. After it was all done, I am glad we picked him. His work is holding up and my bathroom came out looking wonderful. Thank you Mr. Martinez. I would highly recommend him and would use him again in a heart beat.
