Landscaping reviews in El Paso, Texas

This company does “good work” on LARGE projects, however, they may NOT BE INTERESTED in repair or renovation work (unless they happen to be onsite doing a big job.) I make this assumption based on my recent experience when I called for an estimate on renovation work for a flagstone fireplace.
They have nice reviews from contractors, but not many from homeowners. Apparently the service pro forgot about contacting me, while I waited a week for a reply. The gentleman had some unforeseen personal problems but forgot to let the business know I needed to hear from someone. People don't like when their time is wasted. Please be better at communicating in the future.

We had a great experience with Old West El Paso Construction. Javier is not just professional and efficient but worked with us on a vision for a backyard that is suitable for us and safe for our dogs. We can now enjoy sitting in the yard every night. He also did maintenance work on our existing artificial turf so it looks more visually appealing.

Old West El Paso Construction has completed several jobs for me and each one was excellent. They are very responsive, thorough and professional and I recommend them highly. I'm so grateful that they are located in the El Paso area.

Javier and his crew removed all the old cement from the rockwall around my whole property. They replaced it with a polymer/cement mixture and made it look like new. They repaired concrete flaws on front and side of the house. They did an awesome job replacing/repairing all sprinkler heads in backyard and they all work great. They are reasonably priced and I would 100% recommend them!

Amazing service received by Javier and his team, I highly recommend them, From the very start he gave us a schedule and was on it from start to finish. The quality of the work was exceptional. I could not be happier with the end result of the remolding of my new shower, I was extremely happy with their work. I was never worried about them in the house while I was away, true professions in my book. They are very easy going and always available to answer questions. They were helpful, They go the extra mile that many contractors don't do these days. I will definitely be calling them back for another project! :)

Old West El Paso Construction is a fantastic company! Javier is very responsive and professional. He went above and beyond for me answering my questions ahead of time and being very flexible schedule wise. Through the whole process of my tile job, Javier and his crew did a great job. He even took the time to help us pick out tile transition strips that we thought would look nice. Javier's attention to detail is amazing. He took care in all he did and kept a nice, clean work area all along the way leaving no mess. Javier's pricing is very fair and worth every dollar. I appreciate all he did for us. Javier and his crew are fantastic! He was readily responsive, kept us updated, and did the work for a great price. He installed a pergola for us and did the backyard in concrete, along with grading to keep it from flooding the backroom anymore. Update: We asked him to fix a leak on our roof. Turns out the whole roof was rotted through from previous owners. Javier took the roof down to its decking, installed all new vent caps and a bitumen roof, and included the small room we added on earlier. He then made sure we had a written record of everything. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

As first time home buyers, I was not sure what we were getting into and who to trust with our yard. I found Javier's company through Facebook and contacted him. He was very patient with all the questions I had about laying grass in our backyard. He and his employees showed up on time, professionalism and did a great job in our backyard. Javier continued to follow up with us to make sure that the grass was looking good and if any modifications were needed. I really appreciated that he did that and continues to check up on it. We love our backyard and are getting ready to have Javier install privacy walls on the side of our house. We are absolutely satisfied! Totally recommend them!

Javier and his crew went above and beyond our expectations when it came to our backyard project they recently finished. My wife and I have received quotes from other landscapers, and most of them would offer a great price but would say yes to everything we wanted. Still, Javier was the only one who provided recommendations against most of our ideas because they were either impractical or not realistically feasible. He also gave us additional recommendations on what will last in the long run and would discuss his execution plan. One of my concerns with this project was that I wanted to maintain the drainage slope consistent with what had already been engineered for our home, and he assured us that his work would follow the original drainage pattern. Javier also offered an incredible warranty of his work for our project! We initially didn't consider Javier when we started this endeavor with our first version of what we wanted. When my wife and I began to make changes to our plan, Javier did not delay getting back to us with updated quotes and his plan.

Our backyard looks amazing after several flash flood watches, warnings, and what appears to be the rainiest week over the past three years! Naturally, the grass area was flooded, which I'm sure didn't mind; however, the water never reached our patio. The drainage system that Javier set up worked as designed, and I'm looking forward to us enjoying our backyard without the burden of unfinished mud and dirt.

We are extremely happy with Javier and his crew and highly recommend OWEPC. We had several backyard projects to be done (paver installation, backyard dirt removal / soil replacement, irrigation system installation and 40 plants to be planted with mulch) and had a bit of a tight deadline for completion. Javier was super responsive and worked very hard to schedule the projects accordingly. I noted that each day, the crew was always on time, if not early. They were always happy and worked hard throughout the day. Javier asked good questions to ensure the team understood the work to be done and made excellent recommendations when we weren’t quite sure the best way to go about something. When we were having an issue deciding on which type of mulch to use, Javier went out of his way to go to different stores and send photos of the mulch to us so that we could decide. All in all, I can’t say enough good things about OWEPC and highly recommend them! I am certain we will be working with Javier and his team again.

Javier and his crew came out for a massive sprinkler installation on our property. Javier is so kind, his crew was very fast and efficient and they completed the job sooner than we expected. We were very pleased with the work and the price. Our new puppies dug up the drip line a few days after the install, when he found out, he came back the next week with a different solution and repaired it without charging us. He's a great man with a great crew. We would recommend him for all of your landscape or irrigation needs!

Old West El Paso Construction is amazing. Javier is honest, fair, and a perfectionist. He basically has taken care of all our handyman needs. You'd be surprised how many different types of projects they can take on. They go out of their way to helpand provide excellent service. Can't say enough good things.

The crew is always punctual, respectful and leave the space clean once the project is completed. Every part of our yard has been improved because of this landscaping business. We have had concrete work, a pathway placed, brick flower bed repair, and shrubs placed. Our next step will be to have a pergola built in the backyard. I don’t have to worry about anything while they are working at the house. I know the project will get done and everything will be better because of them.

The guys at old west El Paso construction did a phenomenal jobs for my concrete back patio addition. For good professional work I highly recommend them.
