Reviews of local pros in Elgin, Texas

Great company, got my ac replaced and they did a great job at a good price !!! They even followed up to check on the status of the replacement.

Very nice family team. Great work!

These guys are local, hard working, and honest!! Had my air conditioner diagnosed and repaired within hours of my first call!! Reasonably priced and very helpful!! I would definitely recommend!!

J Mechanical is a very professionally run family owned business. James and his father Joe are a great team!! They were on time, consensus and very courteous. True professional in every sense of the word. I would highly recommend J Mechanical for all your HV/AC needs.

James M.

Very professional in every way, prices beat all others by a lot! Service and installation was a breeze and James went above and beyond to program thermostat and give an overview of operation. Joe was great and tailored the unit to the house to get maximum efficiency.
Thanks guys!

These folks are a family owned and operated business with professional services and a heart for the customer and community they serve. We had only the best experience with them. We give them our full recommendation for any Heat and Air installation or repair service needed.

Hands down the best service we’ve received! Our AC unit went out and these guys made it a priority to come out the same day to check out what the issue was. After finding out that our unit was pretty much fried and done with, they put a plan together to fit us into their schedule and get our new unit installed and running within 24 hours. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone in the market . Great prices but most importantly even better service and honesty .

These gentleman came to the rescue when my a/c went out this past summer. I was ill prepared to pay for a new system but they provided me with information on several options. On the day of the installation they stayed at the house until is was working perfectly. They are kind, considerate and most of all very good. I would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them.

James at J. Mechanical, responded quickly and gave us a fair price for an HVAC replacement. They are honest and do good quality work. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough about these guys, they have done multiple projects for me. They are professional, they show up on time, they get the job done, they're up front with pricing and description of project. They have done quite a few residential projects for me as well as a few commercial. I can always rely on J Mechanical if I'm under a time restraint as well. I would definitely recommend them. I'm the owner of Class Act Renovators. Thanks again for your services.

Love them! They truly treat you like family. The job was done in one day as promised and AC works great. My electric bill is cheaper than ever. The price was within my budget. These guys are awesome!

J Mechanical Air Conditioning Services is the pick. They are experienced experts who took the time to give me the advise I needed to make the right decision on my guest house remodel. James and Joe are a son and father team who are respectable, professional, quick and clean. They listen to your needs and they get the job done the first time. They directed me, and I even qualified for central air financing. The whole experience was beyond my wildest dreams and expectation. I am a very happy camper and will call on them again for all my future AC services.

J Mechanical is the BEST ! They installed a new heat pump, and improved my return vents and ductwork for much less than other bids. They immediately return my phone calls, addressing any issues or questions I have. This is a very honest company- something you don’t find very often.

James and his father are awesome I am absolutely happy with the work they did. I will definitely recommend this company for any A/C replacement or repair, I had a small issue with the pipe that vented into the roof to the a/c and James was out in the same day and took care of my issue right away.

I cannot recommend J Mechanical enough. They replaced my A/C a few years ago and at the time, they were very responsive, professional and fair. Bonus point for making a huge effort to clean up as they worked and left me with zero cleaning after the fact.

Fast forward to now, when I needed a service and these guys were out here same day. Anyone living in Central Texas knows how quickly it gets hot, and J Mechanical ensured the comfort of my family by their expertise and high quality service. If you are in the market for repair or replace, look no further!

JR with J Mechanical showed up when he said he was. Came in a diagnosed problem and had my AC running in no time.Would definitely recommend.

J Mechanical Air Conditioning Service is an amazing Company. We contacted James when our ac unit started to leak into our office. I contacted him on Wednesday late afternoon, they were able to come out the very next morning. They worked fast, they answered every question and even gave us pro tips on how to prevent this in the future. Another bonus is they are very affordable. James, You have gained a new loyal customer. So welcome to the FCR IRONWORKS family! 😊

Thanks to J mechanicals for doing an outstanding job on my new AC heating unit. They were very professional and responsive to my calls. I am very happy and pleased with their work. I would highly recommend them for any services.

Absolutely professional service and competitive pricing J mechanical took great care of me and my AC needs they replaced the system with a new unit and set up in less than a day hold off all the old equipment and also replaced necessary parts that were old and needed updating her. Communication was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone that needed any type of heating and AC repair needs.

James is always great about addressing issues with my units. He is very knowledgeable and has amazing troubleshooting techniques. He somehow always manages to make time to put my repairs/installs in the schedule. I know that is not easy to do in the hot months. I do not and will not trust anyone else for my hvac service and install needs. J Mechanical is the only way to go.

James was amazing to work with. My AC was out for a week in mid-June, and my unit has a difficult configuration on the rooftop. After calling and being turned down by 4-5 places (including one that flaked on me at the last minute) he came all the way out, at the time when he promised he would, and was incredibly kind, professional, and honest with me about my options. A very good experience.
