Andres was very responsive and really helped us in need. I initially had gone with another company to see what was wrong and they quoted me $3400 for an issue that wasn’t even present. After calling Andres at Airflow Mechanical, he came out ON TIME with Larry and diagnosed the issue quickly. The best part is I was quoted around $1000 and came in under their projected budget for the repair needed, but the up front honesty about potential cost was amazing. I do feel like the other company was trying to take advantage of us, but Andres was amazing and really made sure us and our small children would have a/c. Larry was very kind, did the job quickly and professionally, and talked us through things as well as showed us the issue at hand. (The other company didn’t do that and diagnosed an issue that wasn’t present). Thank you to Andres and his tech Larry!

When I needed a new heat pump I contacted AirFlow, largely because of their reputation in my condominium building. From start to finish the project went very smoothly. Andres and Larry
explained clearly what they were going to do, and then did it—on time. The system works beautifully. I’d been told that they are perfectionists. My experience with them bears that out.

Our AC unit went out during one of the hottest times in Texas. After 3 days of getting quotes and scheduling different companies to come out, I ran across Air Flow Mechanical on Google. We called them and Andres was out the very next morning. He assessed the issue, gave us very professional and honest advice and explained the entire process to us. We needed a completely new AC unit. After 4 days of unbearable heat, Andres and his guys had our house cool as a cucumber!(in 1 days time!) They worked tirelessly outside in the heat of over 100 degrees and inside our house when the temp was atleast 94+ degrees! His service was quick and thorough. They were very proficient, professional and offered the best price of all the companies that came out. They even returned after a few days to follow up to make sure everything was operating correctly. Great service! We would definitely use them again, but hopefully no time soon! I would recommend them to anyone needing AC repairs.

Andres and Larry both went above and beyond from start to finish on the job replacing my water sourced heat pump.

The team also showed a “measure twice, cut once” ethic by performing an initial walkthrough of the job and taking all the necessary measurements and noting any potential points of concern and questions for the equipment manufacturer.

On the day of the job they were able to efficiently perform a modification to the equipment that they had anticipated from the walkthrough in their work trailer.

On both the initial walkthrough and the job itself the team was punctual, professional, and respectful. I would recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC services.

I'd purchased an Ecobee smart thermostat and contacted another HVAC company to install it. Unfortunately they weren't familiar with my building's AC system (water cooled heat pump) and didn't do it right. Larry came out, knew what he was working with, and fixed me up right away.

I also had them replace my 25-year old heatpump. They sent me the quote for review, which was less than I'd been quoted by another vendor. They ordered it, came out to measure my space and had to make some modifications to the unit to install it. And they installed it in just a few hours. Andreas called post installation to make sure everything was working well, which it is.

Very professional and courteous, highly recommend them.

We just recently moved into a rural area and our AC unit stopped working. The owner of this company came out on a moment's notice and gave a detailed explanation, along with providing pictures of what was wrong with our AC system. He even noticed other issues that were wrong and fixed them. He also took the time to explain what we can do as homeowners to help the system out, and also provided times of the year to do a spot check maintenance. We will definitely be using this honest and reliable company again, and feel relieved that we have a working AC again!

After 13 years of my house not getting cold enough I decided to get a new AC unit because I was not going to find someone who gave me a good of deal as Hills and Valley Heating and Air Conditioning did. Any other big company was going to charge me twice the amount of what I paid. Today my house is finally getting cold like it should. I was very impressed on how fast and professional Hills and Valley Heating and Air conditioning installed my new unit. I was recommended by my brother who they also installed his new unit along with my parents new unit. Highly highly recommend them!

I called Hills And Valleys Heating & Air Conditioning because my mother's AC went out. He told me that they were on another call in Austin and couldn't get here until about 4pm, so he suggested that we keep calling others and let him know if we found someone else. We didn't. They came out and immediately started checking the system, was thorough, very professional, and explained everything that needed to be done. Also, went in the attic and taped holes in the insulated lines going to the vents. We were extremely satisfied with their work.

It was nothing less than an absolute pleasure working with Daniel and his team for a HVAC replacement. I came home from vacation to find my 21 year old condenser quit on me, and Daniel was able to come out same-day, provide a very reasonable quote for replacing my condenser/coil/furnace (which all were 20+ years old), and he was even able to turn it around and start the install next-day. The new AC unit works like a dream in this Texas heat, and I'll definitely be calling Daniel for any of my future HVAC needs!

I was very impressed with overall work performed. Daniel was punctual , didn't waste anytime performing diagnostics and kept me informed every step of the way . I used this company solely on word of mouth and as always it's the only way. Catchy commercials and excessive advertising is a conn. I woke up at 4:30 AM in a pool of sweat, the temperature in the house was 78, and although the AC was on, the air coming out of the vent was room temp.

I called at 8 AM (when they opened) hoping to get on the schedule at some point in the afternoon or early the next morning.

Daniel picked up and said he had a full schedule but would try to work us in as he was driving by our area going to his next call.

15 minutes later, Daniel pulled into my driveway, fixed our AC and was on his way.

He said he just couldn't leave us without AC on a day like today.

Truly above and beyond, I will recommend Daniel to anyone who needs an AC repair person.

A rare gem of a business in the AC / Heating / HVAC industry. We know how difficult it is to find an honest, competent and dependable service. Daniel diagnosed our 20 yr old AC, proposed options and recommended the solution based on our budget. He showed up on time, was thorough, finished new installation ahead of schedule and checked on us multiple times after the installation. I highly recommend Hills and Valleys.

When my AC stopped working correctly today I gave Hills and Valleys a call as I had seen so many great things said about them here locally in Elgin. I was not disappointed. They let me know they were just down the road finishing up another call and would be over at my house in an hour. They even let me know via text when they were on the way and arrived almost exactly an hour later. They quickly got to work diagnosed some issues, took care of them and my AC was back up and running better than when it was new. From my first call to them leaving was less than 3 hours. Talk about great service especially on a 104 degree day. They’ve got my business for any issues and checkups I need from here on out. I love that they are local and Elgin based. Highly recommend!

Daniel came out today to do maintenance on my AC unit. After some inspection of the indoor unit, he found a gas leak on the furnace. Had it not been for him, the outcome could have been worse. He was on time, and did a great job. I highly recommend his services.

Daniel from this company worked on replacing one of our A/C units. He first came to diagnose the issue and was very skillful in figuring out the problem. He not only explained the issues, but came up with various options and suggestions. He is very honest, professional and reliable guy. He replaced my entire A/C system at a very reasonable price... Daniel was incredibly prompt to respond when my heat unexpectedly went out and was able to come out same day to diagnose the problem, answered all of my questions, and explained how my system works/what the issues were clearly for my comprehension. Heater was fixed quickly and before the first big freeze of the winter! Will 100% recommend for prompt service, good communication, and reasonable cost!

Daniel was amazing. He was able to schedule me the same day I called which was awesome a s having no a/c was miserable his call out fee was incredibly reasonable especially given gas prices and he didn't try to upsell. He identified the problem immediately when a named brand company simply told me I needed a new unit and tried to sell me a 11000 dollar system He fixed the problem quickly and for a couple hundred dollars. I will definitely use him again for all my hvac needs

I called Hills and Valley's after AHS could not find someone to fix my AC unit after 6 days without air in 100+ degree weather. Daniel came out the next day after the call and diagnosed/fixed the problem and had me cooling off within an hour. He even traveled a farther distance than normal to ensure I didn't have to endure another scorching night. I haven't had any other problems and would give them 5 stars for fast response, professionalism, attention to detail, courtesy, and honesty. If you're looking for a reliable company, Hills and Valley's is my best recommendation!

Really bad experience. We paid them to replace our HVAC and even told them that the builder would be paying for it, and they replaced it with a system that didn’t work nearly as well, didn’t replace parts that soon after broke, and caused our house to be warmer than it ever was before. We also started to get a lot of condensation around our vents ever since they did the install which makes us really nervous about mold. Not only that, but they refused to do the work necessary to fix it and just made excuses as to why they wouldn’t do it after they had been paid thousands of dollars. Would not recommend.

Make sure you never use a cuss word around them or else they will ghost you and not finish the job. Super unprofessional business who gets too flustered by a lack of know-how that they blame everything else except their own wrong doings
