I’ve hired this company for about a year now. Originally when we first moved in the yard had a long strip of weeds bleeding over from our neighbor’s yard all along our back fence. I called up emerald lawns (at the time they were another company) and within a few treatments all the weeds are gone.

I asked our technician once what type of sod he recommended we buy to fill in those spots and he reassured me that it would grow in with no sod needed. He even recommended against sod because it might not match. I listened to him and now the grass is all filled in and it looks the same as the rest of our lawn. I’m glad that he not only does the job we hired him for but is also a great source of knowledge whenever I have questions.

There’s lots of difficult parts of being a homeowner but I’m glad my lawn isn’t something I have to worry about. I just called once and they keep coming out and my lawn looks beautiful year round. They call and email me whenever my technician, Jeremy, is about to do my lawn so I’m never surprised that there’s someone in my yard 😂. Though, to be honest, most of the time the only way I know he’s there is due to the little flags he leaves in the front and back yard because he finishes the job pretty quickly. Overall, I’m very happy and highly recommend this company.

Lynn did a great job on our lawn care application today. He thoroughly covered our lawn with the spray & spot weed control. Much better than past technicians.

I recently signed up for service from Emerald. My tech was Kyle he was on time to provide me with my lawn treatment. He was very personable and knowledgeable. Went out of his way to make sure I was happy. A good reflection for the company .

I decided to try Emerald after talking to Todd who was very informative. Kyle came out to my yard with lots of weeds and was very professional and courteous. A few days later my yard is looking so much better. I have told several of my friends about my good experience with Emerald. I didn't know they did pest control as well. I'm going to call them for a quote about that too. Good people, great service.

Odell was wonderful!!!! He asked if I had any questions/concerns to address before he even started. Very polite, considerate.

Our lawn looks great and Jerrod cuts the height to our liking! Trimming is always beautiful and he cleans up very well. He even gets the grass growing in some of the side walk lines and house entry walk!

Norman always does a great job. He comes and goes without disturbance. He lets us know what service he provided. My front lawn is one of the prettiest in the neighborhood.

I called because my oak tree was distressed/dying. The ONLY thing I asked about was if my tree could be saved.
I expected someone to see the tree, give their opinion of what may be distressing it and what treatment may save it. I sent a photo of the tree via text and then another photo because the tree was rapidly withering. It was clear the tree was the only reason for my call.
A guy came to my house and started spraying the tree. I asked him what he thought was killing it. He said he didn't know. I asked if he thought it was aphids as the person I set up service with did. He responded if it's aphids he would have to spray the entire tree. No one looked at the tree, made opinion about tree or treated the cause.

The tree had a fungus that affects oak TREES - NO CHANCE OF RECOVERY. Even the soil around it is affected and I can only plant trees, shrubs that are resistent to the fungus.

I WONDER HOW LONG THEY WOULD HAVE CHARGED ME to spray, inject soil, etc. for a DEAD TREE THAT HAD TO BE REMOVED TO STOP SPREADING OF FUNGUS.

The guy who set up service with me also asked when I last did a weed/feed of my lawn. I told him I was about to do one. He suggested and I agreed to have Emerald do a weed/feed at that time.
He also asked if I wanted my lawn treated for pests, as well as, a specific flea and tick - I agreed.

Yard still full of weeds. I was first told that I needed to wait 10 days and I would begin to see the weeds dying. The weeds did not begin dying and new weeds continued to sprout and grow. I was then told that new weeds would continue to grow until they sprayed a pre-emergent herbicide. He further explained that I would need to continue through their year program for it to be effective.

I WANTED TO SAVE MY TREE.

I agreed to weed/feed with results - not continual contract inorder to see results. I've taken care of my lawn for many, many years and never had the amount of weeds in my yard that I was encouraged to let grow in order to see result.

I paid less to find out the tree was killed by a fungus and have the tree removed than I paid Emerald. I didn't receive benefit from Emerald. If they couldn't help with dying trees they should have told me instead of taking my money and continually explaining why was wasn't seeing any results from their "treatments."

Jerrod did a great job and addressed all our needs. I hope we get him on our next service.

Careful with this company. They sent a technician who did not apply the treatment and then they sent an email saying the lawn has been serviced. Glad I have outside cameras as proof. I regret signing up with them.

Emerald Lawns recommended that we level out our lawn using sand. The application was done in just about two hours and we have to see how it progresses overtime. It certainly leveled out now and they gave me some good advice on how to water it to make sure that the grass continues to grow quickly and through the sand, I will have to come back and update this review in a couple months so we can see what the outcome of it is

I have spoken with their customer service on a few occasions about calling 24 hours prior to coming out, they use to do this. Each time I’ve called they say we will make a note of it, hasn’t happened. Can’t rate service or what was done when an invoice isn’t left to see what was actually done. When this was a smaller company things were great. You could call directly and speak to someone. Now that they have gotten a lot larger I guess it’s like everything else it’s about all mighty dollar. Not that it will matter to this company but it maybe time to start looking at other options
