Reviews of local pros in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas

Lawson and his crew did a fantastic job!! Great price for quick and quality work. We moved to a new house and the trees had not been touched professionally since the beginning. Only some improper and ineffective attempts by the previous owners. Now its hard to believe how good they look!!

He also took the time to recommend and educate me on how to best keep care of the trees now that the have been set on a path for quality growth. Will definitely use this company for any future needs!!

We live in Silverado in Kyle. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lawson Eddy and his crew. We have big beautiful oak trees on our property that needed trimming, but we wanted to be sure they were trimmed correctly and did not want to trust our trees to just anyone. Lawson was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He walked around our property and listened to our concerns and how we would like our trees trimmed. He did an amazing job! Our trees have never looked better. We knew that with Lawson, our trees would be cut correctly and that his equipment is sterilized between jobs to prevent the possibility of transferring oak wilt from someone else's tree. Also, with a professional instead of the lawn guy, we won't have to trim our trees every year but once every 3–5 years. It's the old saying, you pay for what you get. I highly recommend Lawson and will definitely be using him again in the future.

I've had Tree work done a number of times over the last 20 years and my experience with Lawson and his crew was by far the best I've had. From the start he was prompt for the walk through and explained in clear ways what he thought was the right approach. He also took the time to show me examples of his work. Quality tree service is not an insignificant cost so he worked with us to find the right scope of work to fit our needs and budget. The crew was organized, competent and very hard working. I could not be happier!!

Man you have to love working with people that actually like their jobs and their customers. From the first call to the bid and then job day the whole team was friendly, happy to answer questions, and provided excellent service. We got a competitive bid to trim back 8 trees in our yard, and they did great work with that but what really blew me away was how clean they left the yard afterward! It almost looks like we got a full lawn service they cleaned up so well after themselves. Bonus was we asked if we could keep the wood and they stacked it neatly next to our wood pile out back so it can dry before we use it, but put the already dead cuts in the ready to use pile so we didn't accidentally end up with wet wood in our fire this year which shows how much they care! Highly recommend to anyone needing tree service locally!

Just had tree care performed for me. Passed by Lawson, talking a walk, and he offered to walk down the street to our house, diagnose our needs, and send a crew to provide treatment. Great job! Great service! Call Central Texas Tree Service first!

I recently bought a home and the backyard, though spacious, was completely overgrown and there was a huge dead tree overhanging the roof. I initially called to get a quote about cutting down the tree over the roof (for safety reasons) but after talking with Lawson I ended up having him quote me on revitalizing the whole property. He was very knowledgeable about the plants and the condition they were, so I felt comfortable with the direction he wanted to go in to make the yard healthier and safer. On the scheduled morning the whole team arrived on time and the crew was extremely friendly, professional and hard-working. My yard looks completely different and I feel like I can actually go back there now to enjoy the smaller projects of gardening, etc now that Texas Tree Service has gotten all my trees in tip-top shape! I also feel more capable of maintaining the property due to Lawson's expert advice. I highly recommend!!

Lawson and his guys did an excellent job trimming our 4 massive ash trees. They had not seen much TLC in many years and he gave them a new outlook on life! They look healthier and happier than ever before. Lawson did a fantastic job explaining the anatomy of our trees and the best approach to revitalizing them. He provided a fair quote and got to work later that week. His crew was very friendly and left our property cleaner than it was before they arrived. Highly recommend!

This is our 4th time to use this company to take care of our trees. Lawson is an arborist, not just a tree trimmer. We rely on his wisdom and advice with all of our trees. We have unfortunately had quite a few old trees die with the heat and draught and also some storm damage this past year. I cannot say enough about the care and attention to detail taken with our big trees. They can take down a very large tree into a 4 foot area below, never harming the plants and other trees around their work. they clean up when leaving so that you never know they were there. Their live oak maintenance is nothing less than masterful. We have nicknamed that employee as "the artist". Speaking of employees, many if not most are the same employees every year, which says plenty as to the quality of the employer, Lawson Eddy. You will not be disappointed with this company.

Lawson Eddy was incredibly professional, helpful, and friendly!
He came out the same day I called and advised me on how to best treat our tree that had been severely damaged by a road crew. He shared lots of great advice about managing the rest of our trees and happily offered quotes for several different levels of packages to fit our financial needs. I can't express how happy I was with the service he provided!

Central Texas Tree Service removed a tree that was overgrown and too close to our home. We were able to schedule them about 2 weeks out and when they arrived I was blown away by how efficiently they worked! They cut the tree into fire wood, moved all timber to the desired location on my property, recycled the smaller pieces into mulch, and grinned the tree stump. Everything was done professionally and they left our home looking great! Also, the entire crew wore proper safety/personal protective equipment. I will be using them again in the future and highly recommend them if you have any sort of tree care project that you are considering. Central Texas Tree Service was very easy work with and their support staff is friendly and communicative!

This is a wonderful company. We have used them before. Last week I called about taking a dead tree down. They came same day because they were in the neighborhood. Perfect job, $600 less than my landscaper who wanted to take it down. Thank you Brandon.

Lawson and his team do incredible work at good prices and take great care of their customers. My dad, my sister and I all use their tree trimming service for routine tree service and they have come out to help each time we've had trees damaged by storms as well. Their crew is efficient, professional, and takes care to leave your place looking immaculate when they leave. The yard under the trees every time they come out is spotless and perfect--people just don't go the extra mile much anymore but this company does without fail. Call them, you won't regret it one bit!

Fantastic service! Very knowledgeable about trees and maintaining tree health. They made sure everything was cleaned up afterward. You won’t be disappointed if you choose Lawson to take care of your tree needs!

Lawson and the crew from Central Texas Tree Service did a beautiful job trimming our trees. They were quick, efficient, and truly exceptional experts at making sure our trees will continue to thrive. Thank you Lawson, and your team for a great experience!

It's impossible to give enough credit and praise in so little space. They were blisteringly fast, very fairly priced, and brought a wealth of knowledge about types of trees, their needs, and what would work best in the long-term. I've had others work on my trees before, but now I wish I'd found CTTS first. Just great!

Had 3 trees trimmed and cleaned up.

Crew came out on time and quickly trimmed all my trees. Also did a a good job of clean-up.

This is my second time using their services and I have been impressed each time. Would recommend them for any tree related services.

If you choose Texas Tree Service, you won't be disappointed. Lawson Eddy and his professional crew did an excellent job from start to finish. My yard of 50+ trees got a complete makeover and I'm thrilled with the results. The crew was meticulous, cleaned the roof and left no debris in the yard. I would definitely recommend Texas Tree Service without reservation. Thanks to Lawson Eddy and his crew - I now love my yard!

Our backyard went from hillcountry scrub brush to a star gazing oasis. They are knowledgeable, friendly and do what they say, as well as exceed expectations! Thanks Central Texas Tree Service...

My wife and I have been so happy that Central Texas trees was recommended to us. We are fairly new to the area and are very new to having acreage with lots of trees and cedar. Our first experience with Lawson Eddy was after the bad freeze in 2021. We had a tree near to our house that died very rapidly and became a danger to our house. Lawson came out asap and took the tree down for us. While he was here we asked if he would quote trimming up the numerous hard woods/cedars that we have. We hired his company and they did a wonderful job. They did everything they said they would do. Since that first time they have done smaller jobs for us. It has been the same good service as our first experience. He has a great crew as well. A very knowledgeable, hardworking outfit. We would highly recommend Central Texas Trees.

I am pleased to add to the 5 star reviews. My experience from initial contact, quote, and finished work was exceptional. In addition to his quote, Lawson gave me a comprehensive review of all my trees. He spoke in great detail concerning homeowner pruning techniques, disease, and the general well being of my trees and plants. On the scheduled day, Lawson arrived with his crew to review his plan with me again. His crew was professional and polite. I like being outdoors and the crew supervisor talked with me about cutting techniques and the manner of their work. The clean up was like they were never there. Without hesitation, I will be using the company again in the future.

Met with Lawson Eddy on 11.16 to discuss my tree needs and pricing. Lawson gave me a price (very competitive) before he left, and scheduled my job for the next day. Work included removing 4 small Live Oak Trees and trimming trees (Live Oaks and Montery Oaks). The crew arrived on time and immediately began work. Brandon, the guy in charge, did everything I asked and more. Very professional group, each member knowing exactly what they needed to do and doing it. The quality of their work, care about my property and speed at which they completed the work was more than I really expected. I would recommend Lawson and his team without hesitation.
