Ronnie came out today and was amazing! He was nice, personable, professional, communicative, and efficient. We had a long list of things to do and he took his time to go through the list and made sure we were satisfied with the work completed. We highly recommend him, 10 stars!!

gentry electric ran an underground wire to provide electricity to a shed. While gardening I nicked the wire and the electricity to the shed cut off. They came by and fixed it for me with no charge. They gained a loyal customer today! Highly recommend!

We have had Gentry electric add lights in our kitchen, fix electrical issues around our pool and now fix two outlets that were sparking. They were professional and courteous. I highly recommend them!!!

After referral through our local neighborhood website, decided to go with Gentry Electric. They were patient, friendly and very informative as we walked through my electrical needs. Punctual and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend and would use them again for future projects.

Where do I begin? I would rate them more than 5 stars if I could. We had an odd one. Older home with quirky old units still hanging around. We came home to a weird very loud squealing noise last night and after some time figured out it was not the hot water heater but an old sprinkler unit in the same closet. We were able to find the electric breaker and shut it off. We were then 2 work-from-homers with no Wifi, TV, hot water, a garage door that did not open and dark areas in the house (no lights). I texted Jarod in the early am and he communicated to us all day in between other pre-scheduled jobs and promised to come by at some point before end of day. And true to his word, he came by early evening and knew exactly what to do and in a jiffy had us up and running again. He took extra care in making sure the unit was totally disconnected and safe. We are currently basking in the electricity and modern conveniences we take advantage of daily. Jarod was so kind, professional and speedy. We would never call anyone else. Gentry has all our business.

James Gentry has done electrical work for us for almost 15 years. He’s more like a friend and we trust his professional judgement and honesty. Does an excellent job for a reasonable price. A few weeks ago, I had a strange electrical problem with an outdoor light and the owner had it fixed in a very short time, found a loose wire. Now the light works perfectly. A few weeks after we had Gentry Electric Company replace our 40+ year old breaker panel. The three guys were very professional and polite. They cleaned up all their mess (which most companies lack this trait) and left no signs they were here except the beautiful up to date panel they installed. They labeled the panel so we would know what rooms went to which breaker. I would recommend them to everyone. A++++

Today Gentry Electric Company installed a new ceiling fan, Blink Flood Lights and Camera, a dedicated outlet in my kitchen for my electric countertop grill, and replaced five outlets. I highly recommend using them for your electrical repairs.

Excellent people and excellent work. Both men worked together quickly with expertise to accomplish a difficult job quickly and efficiently. Price was very reasonable and less than I had expected since I had the same work done on another house with a different company. I will recommend Gentry to anyone.

I have been using James Gentry for my electrical work for years. I called him yesterday with a problem with a GFCI plug and even though he was very busy, he took the time on the phone to try and help me fix the issue on my own.
We were not able to correct the issue, but he came by the next morning and checked the wiring and fixed the problem.
Not many electricians would take the time to try and help you remedy the situation over the phone. I only know one, James Gentry, and when we could not fix it over the phone, he made time to come help me out.
This is just one of the many reasons I have used James over the years.
If you want a knowledgeable, honest electrician, James Gentry is your guy. Whenever I am asked if I know an electrician, I always refer James. My friends always come back to me and tell me how pleased they were with his work.

Very professional, courteous, and accommodating. They completed the requested work in a very timely manner and for a reasonable price. Cleaned up good after the job was completed. If I need any other electrical work done I will definitely be calling Gentry Electric first!

We have used Gentry Electric a few times over the years. Most recently, Jerid replaced all of our outdoor lighting and we are VERY PLEASED!

Jerid was prompt for the appointment, he worked steadily throughout the project and used checkpoints with us throughout to ensure that the lights were just where we wanted them positioned and were to our liking. He tested everything thoroughly with us so that we could ensure we could control the light timers with our existing outdoor pool/lighting timer, and he cleaned everything up before leaving.

Jerid had previously completed a project for us when our garage area breaker would not stay reset. He quickly identified the problem as an outdoor outlet that needed to replaced. After replacing the outlet (with one that has a more encasing protective cover), he tested everything with us to ensure all was well.

In addition to being a skilled electrician, Jerid is polite, professional and just pleasant to work with. He will be our 'go to' electrician for any future needs. HIGHLY Recommend!

I can't say enough about the service I received from James Gentry and Gentry Electric. My wife and I recently moved into an older home and we couldn't get our dryer to heat up. We were told it was due to the dryer not getting enough power. We first contacted another company, Arrow Electric, and they came out and told us they couldn't even look at the issue due to our older breaker box. They wanted $4800 to install a new breaker box . Our home inspector then recommended Gentry Electric. Mr. Gentry took a look at our breaker box, noticed a wire wasn't connected, reconnected the wire to the breaker box and got my dryer working. He also took the time to explain the issues with the older breaker box and quoted a price of $3600 to replace it. Gentry Electric saved me thousands of dollars! I'd recommend them to anyone.

I was referred to Gentry Electric by our real estate agent. I was very impressed with the responsiveness. I love that they offer an option to text. I was able to text the number and within a few hours I received a call and was able to schedule an appointment to have a grounding rod installed. On the day of the appointment, I received a call to let me know he was on his way and then within 30 mins he was done. It was quick and easy. This is my new go-to electric company moving forward and I would highly recommend Gentry Electric.

We are having our back deck redone and a new grill installed. We needed two new outlets installed. My wife also requested a new switch inside. Very happy with the work - everything went well. Experienced crew that did everything in a timely manner. Everything explained and agreed on prior to work. Everything cleaned up and both my wife and I are very happy!

Ronny and his team arrived and quickly went to work. They did exactly what I wanted (wired up a new roof exhaust fan) and even wired it directly into the breaker box as requested. They did the job quickly and were here less than an hour and charged a fair price.

Jerid was professional and so helpful. He was thorough in walking around our attic looking for rat/mice chew marks on the electric insulation to ensure our safety and saved a ton of money!
