General Contractor reviews in Fort Worth, Texas

Make Me Construction installed a new 8 ft cedar fence for me in 2017 and at the same time, they also installed two windows in the fence for the dogs to look out. The fence turned out spectacular and I have had nothing but great complements on the work that they did.
When the old fence between my house and the neighbors recently broke apart, I called them back out to install the same fence they had previously installed in 2017. Work was completed in one day and it turned out beautifully.
I highly recommend Make Me Construction to anyone out there looking for a great contractor. They are honest and above board.
I am planning on installing a patio cover within a year and I will definitely be calling them to do that work as well. -
They built a studio/ she-shed on the property. Was completed on schedule, inspected on schedule with various inspectors impressed with the high quality material and quality of workmanship. Sub contractors were efficient, thorough and cleaned up. Shawn and Nathan checked in and kept us informed and up to date on schedule. Will definitely use again for home improvements. The studio looks fantastic and is well constructed.

Make Me Construction was courteous and very professional. The crew worked long hours in the Texas heat with temperatures over 100° to finish the job on time. Frequent breaks were necessary but not excessive. In addition, Make Me Construction worked with another project’s timelines and delivered beyond expectations. We are very happy and pleased with the quality of work on the board on board cedar fence.
Give them a call for your next project. -
Sean, Tanner and the crew are the guys you’re looking for to help you with your fence or roof. I’ve used them twice once for my fence and once for my roof and I’ll go back again if I need any future repairs. They’re honest, hard working & fair and they won’t try to break your bank. Make Me Construction is a top notch company who always looking out for your best interest. I had to work through a bunch of insurance challenges when my roof was damaged and Sean was patient with me until it was resolved. Make Me construction stand behind their work and their word is their bond. A++++ all the way!

Shop around, this company will only work on massively profitable (400% profit or more) projects. If you get a bid try at least 3 other companies. Compare ability bond or insurance metrics and pick the better option. The primary market is uneducated homeowners willing to pay max $ without comparison. Test the sales reps by reminding them you have another company coming out to bid later. They may just ignore you completely out of fear. Or maybe deep respect of their competitors.
After your 3 bids then choose the best. The entire business model of Make Me revolves around homeowners not knowing market rates. -
Nathan provided top-notch service from start to finish, always in communication. We had a new back fence installed along a tree line, re-stained our side fences, their company had installed years ago, and they even made improvements to two of my pergolas. Nathan took the time to listen to our project needs and make additional suggestions for an overall great experience.

Make Me a Fence did an outstanding job, very professional and what I was hoping for... they came out, assessed my property and sent me an estimate for the new fence build. Once we agreed on that, they scheduled the build, and arrived on time and finished in just 2 days. The crew was professional, and cleaned up before they left. I would definitely use them again for other projects!! Thank you Make Me Construction.

Nathan was very communicative throughout the process. They helped us fix our soffit, fill a few holes and acquire machine grooves cedar shake siding for our home, which is not easy to come by these days, to repair our house. After the repairs, it’s hard to tell the new siding from the old. Marcos and his crew did a great job!

Sean Holland and his crew did an amazing job on our roof. After a hail storm we had a lot of people knocking on our door wanting to do our Roof and making what seemed like a lot of false promises. Like my Dad always said if things seem too good to be true they usually are. Sean and his team however, were easy to deal with. I didn’t feel like I was being sold a bill of goods. They were not over promising things. He walked my wife and I thru the entire project and helped us deal with our insurance company and process. I cannot thank Sean and his guys enough. They looked after our yard and cleaned up well. We did a final Walk and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend them to any friends or family.

Total satisfaction on adding a rear covered patio which included and outdoor island with built in grill and 55 inch TV. From our first meeting to the final inspection, Nathan and Sean’s mission was to Wow us with the end result and they delivered by at least triple. They didn’t try to sell us on their cookie cutter model and then up charge for enhancements. They knew what we wanted, priced it accordingly and would not accept the final payment until we agreed it was 110% perfect. I would highly recommend Make Me Construction for their professionalism and ability to deliver on your vision

Make Me Construction replaced our roof last summer. Not only were they professional, the bid was exact and we did not have any problems during or after the job was completed. The crew kept everything clean and they did protect our landscaping during the removal of the old roof. Sean Holland was on site the entire time and was always available to answer any questions we had.
Sean was even able to help us get our homeowner's insurance company to replace the whole roof vs. just a portion of it.
I highly recommend Make Me Construction! -
We are extremely happy with our new fence! Sean was great for us through the whole process and his crew did an excellent job. We will be using Sean and his crew for many other projects in the future!

Sean and his crew came through for us with an awesome pergola and also installing the Hercules cover over it. The team was very professional and got it done in a timely manner. I definitely recommend them.

Sean and his crew built us an AWESOME fence in 2016. When we needed a new roof we called him back in 2023. The roof turned out AWESOME as well and improved the look of our home. His crew is always courteous and Sean is great to work with. I would definitely recommend this contractor.

Driving on the phone with an unsecured load on his trailer. No regard for the danger he can cause.

Very bad experience with this company. They installed a $13,000. fence around my small backyard in Watauga, TX After installation, a significantly-sized tree appeared in my yard that wasn’t there the day before! Apparently, when they flipped the fence placing the smooth side out, my neighbor’s tree was on the fence line. Instead of halting installation to inform me of the situation and ask for my guidance, they took it upon themselves to move the fence over into my neighbor’s yard placing it behind the tree. This caused my neighbor’s tree to now be on my side! This was upsetting to my neighbor and me! I tried to work with them for a solution. I still don’t know how far over the fence is in my neighbor’s yard. I reached out to the city for help only to find out that Sean Holland, the owner, had not obtained a permit! He suspiciously went in to get one while I was talking to the city (after the fence was installed!). The city inspector was very helpful and came out to my home and inspected the fence. He explained that the only way to determine how far the fence had been moved over into the neighbor’s yard was to obtain a new survey. I started getting quotes and the first one came in at $1300.00!.I asked about helping with the survey fee but Sean and Nathan took no responsibility and Sean began bullying me.( I am a single grandmother.)
The fence installation was completed last Friday and today is Wednesday. I let Sean know earlier today that I was trying to find a better quote for a survey and I would get back to him by the end of the day. He responded by putting a lien on my house and daily late fees. Sean Holland and his crew do not demonstrate integrity and acted deceptively. There are bad reviews on several platforms. Please be careful. It took me a really long time to save up for this fence on an educator’s salary. I wish I had been more careful. The entire experience was very stressful.
I reached out to other business owner/contractors regarding proper protocol for this scenario. Of course, they stated that the fence installation should have stopped and the homeowner consulted regarding the tree on the fence line. Apparently Sean and his crew did not want to disrupt their schedule long enough to consult with their paying customer. As you can see in the photos, the new fence is sitting on the tree root so I will have to have the tree cut down. The burden is on me. Please be careful and do your homework. Use a different fence company unless you want your fence line moved and trees appearing in your yard that weren’t there before.
Update: Thursday. Mr. Holland responded to my negative review with erroneous information. For clarification, I was working at home during the entire fence installation (3 days) and available for consultation regarding any issues. Nathan had taken a picture of the tree in question prior to moving the fence but did not share the situation with me during any of our conversations. He was present on site and spoke with me regarding other issues, such as his crew cutting my buried internet cable while I was training over Zoom. He had ample opportunity to discuss the tree situation with me. I never declined any inspection from the.city and escorted the inspector around my yard when he came. Due to Sean’s bullying tactics, I paid the final invoice, on the third business day after completion of the fence. I wanted to try to resolve the issue with the fence line being moved (beyond the few typical inches caused by flipping the fence) prior to paying the final invoice and without attorneys. My concern is to any legal ramification moving forward regarding the fence line being moved over into my neighbor’s property. This was politely explained to Sean Holland numerous times. He offered no help or solutions. He accepted no responsibility.
In the larger scheme of things, people are being blown up in Ukraine and there is real human tragedy all over our world. I am keeping this negative situation in perspective and moving on. I only post these reviews in hope it will help people make informed decisions. -
Sean's construction crew did an excellent job replacing our roof. Very professional & thorough. The business end of it and dealing with the insurance was all taken care of by Sean's company. Highly recommend !!

Make Me Construction came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I wanted a covered patio that would match what the original home builder offered, that many of my neighbors already have. A peaked patio cover transitioning to the house roof is a complex project when it's an add-on, and not an original build. Nathan and Marcos did an excellent job coordinating all the work, and the result is a seamless integration to the house that exceeded my expectations. It is a perfect match to the original design down to the smallest detail. The crew was experienced, efficient, and professional. They finished ahead of schedule, including a thorough cleanup of the area. I would definitely recommend Make Me Construction.

Sean is honest and dependable. I'm really happy about my new fence. They took care of everything, permits and drawings for HOA. I'll definitely hire you them again.
Thank you! -
Sean and his crew are absolutely the best! They built me a fence last year that is beautiful and recently re-roofed my house. This company does quality work at a reasonable price. Fantastic people that stand behind their work 100%! Highly recommend.

We worked with this company to repair our offices that were heavily damaged by a flood. I have nothing but great things to say about the way things were handled from beginning to end. Kevin (the project manager) was very easy to work with and kept us updated on every step of the process. I would most certinaly work with Tarrant Construction again!!
