We recently purchased a house and received our first HOA violation for the dead tree in the front yard. We reached out to Moon Valley and they exceeded our expectations. They ordered the tree we wanted and it was delivered in a timely manner. Their communication is exceptional, keeping us informed thru the whole process. On delivery day we were notified of their arrival 30 min before they arrived. The installers were polite and professional. Our soil is so rocky they even resorted to using a pick ax. Once completed they went over instructions to ensure our tree survives. We will be reaching out to Moon Nursery for any of our future need. Thank you Moon Nursery for saving us from the HOA!

Idgaf if my husband says they are too expensive - best customer experience and I love my plants / flowers so much!!! The gentleman helping me literally walked around with me the whole time making recommendations based on my preferences. He got a cart for me, picked and loaded all the plants in the cart, pushed it whole time AND loaded everything into my van for me at the end. Also gave lollipops to my 3 young kids who were being rambunctious and they didn’t make us feel unwelcome at all. And they have toys there for the kids to play with. Highly recommend even if you just need plants / flowers and not trees. I also got some potting soil there. I plan to go back for more plants, mulch, weed killer, and more.

JB and his crew are excellent. They were on time and very efficient. Clean up was spotless. He took the time to work with me for the best placement of my trees. He listened to my concerns and offered great suggestions. When you’re making an investment for your property, you want someone who will listen, understand and respect what your goals are and he did all the above. Overall, this company is awesome from beginning to end. The 1st experience was so great that I went back a week later to buy more trees.

I don't recommend using Moon Valley nurseries. My husband and I spent several thousand dollars on trees and a service for the first year. This included having them to plant the trees, have them assessed by an arborist 3 times the first year, and replaced if they fail any time the first year. They were great with setting up the planting and giving instructions on how to care for the trees. However, when it came for the arborist to come out, we never received the report. I called 3 weeks later asking for the report and was told someone would get a hold of me. I didn't hear from anyone but figured it was because of the weekend. So I called again. I was put on a "brief" hold (10 minutes) and then was asked if they could call me back in 15 minutes. Of course, no one called back.
Here it is the next morning and they have been open for a while. Still no call and no report.
I guess once they have your money, customer service doesn't matter.
I would recommend staying away from this company.

Roxie greeted us with the biggest smile the minute we stepped out of our truck! She could tell we are get in and out people and took us straight to what we were looking for. She’s extremely knowledgeable about all of the plants, trees and flowers. Her genuine energy is an entire vibe! GO SEE ROXIE!!!

Roxy Maston helped us pick out a new tree after ours died and was very knowledgable about which trees would look good in our yard and how they change in different seasons. She was patient with us while we asked to look for various trees throughout the nursery! Can’t recommend her enough.

Visited with the intent to purchase a 10-12ft tree. Found one I liked. No price on the tag but was listed with a sale of 50% off. Seller said if I buy two he could get me delivered with install and everything I need for about $1k - $2k. Walked in and manager final price was $8k. Slight difference from what the sales associate estimated. Wasted 30 minutes in pleasantries only to find the price was slightly outside of acceptable. With a sale of 50% and a deal, does this mean they would regularly be $10k per? No deal. Would recommend you find another tree farm. Prices are extreme and outside acceptable range.

Family and I walked in today to see if we could look for an upgrade for our trees in the front. Jeff showed us our options and helped us get an excellent deal for a couple of beautiful Red Oaks! Appreciated his insight and hospitality! Overall a smooth and fun experience. Even got a pumpkin out of it! Thanks a bunch to Jeff!

Jeffrey M, Nathaniel R, and Roxie M went above and beyond my expectations as a first time tree buyer. I thought I had my mind set on a specific tree as a memorial for my Dad, brother, and Mother who have all passed. I was shown beautiful trees and decided on one that was not only amazing, but perfect for my space. Everyone was very helpful, fun, and the whole process was amazing. I highly recommend Moon Valley. We bought a red pistache. They have a wide variety of trees. Thank you to all that helped us.

Tree planting day! Finally got our trees planted today on our scheduled appointment. JB and his crew did an outstanding job. Very knowledgeable. Very friendly. They even went above and beyond and replant one of the tree afterwards cause it didn't look right to us (which is my fault for directing them to put in the first place) to another place. They also threw away my old tree I needed to get rid. Thanks JB and his crew!

From the purchase, to tree removal, to stump grinding and installation of two trees, great experience! Professional crews that took pride in their work and it shows!! Great clean up after job completion! Will use them again

We are so happy with our new purple leaf plum tree. The whole process of sending out utilities to check for underground lines, to constant communications on our appointment and delivery tracking was great. Richard Ortega and his crew were professionals, answered my questions, and did a great job installing the tree. I look forward to using them anytime I need them. I am referring everyone I know to use Moon Valley Nursery!
