SavATree tree removal crew (Jonathan, Marvin, Gerardo, and Lino) did a fantastic job taking down a very large dead post oak in a tight space in my yard. The tree was about 50 feet tall. They were professional and courteous. The foreman communicated well with us from start to finish. They moved things on the ground that needed to be moved out of the way, stacked the wood we choose to keep in a neat pile, and I asked for the wood chips which they happily left also and placed them where I asked. The crew gets 5 stars! There are 2 reasons the whole thing only gets 4 star. The communication on the scheduling was not good. I did not know they were coming today, so I was unprepared. The second reason is that the arborist was not onsite during the work which I would have preferred.

The Fort Worth team was fantastic! Jamie clearly explained the work that needed to be done, and Gerardo and his crew delivered top-notch service. They arrived on time, trimmed our trees beautifully, and left everything spotless. Couldn’t be happier with the experience!

Very friendly, very professional. Wilbur and Jaime gave me lots of good information about trees so I can help them last longer and thrive. Highly recommend!!

Gerardo's Crew did a great job with our Live Oak and Bradford Pear tree. We now have some sunlight coming through to help the lawn grow and a healthy pruning job that enhances the life of the tree for years to come. They had a wealth of knowledge, are professional and courteous and cleaned the yard up well afterwards. Will use Save a Tree Again.

Another fantastic job! Our beautiful large Cedar Elm split at a main fork in the trunk last year, losing one third of its crown. Jamie came out and assessed the damage, recommending us to wait until spring and have her return to see how it would recover. The remaining branches began to leaf out and with Janie’s recommendations Gerardo, Marvin and Lino came out to do a masterful job of removing all the mistletoe and excess weight so this irreplaceable tree will continue to thrive. The tree is quite tall, so it was a relief to see all that all the necessary safety precautions were taken as they ascended the crown. The cuts are all clean and properly angled. Well done guys!

SavATree Ft.Worth has been providing seasonal fertilization and treatment of the trees and shrubs on our property going on two years and the difference in them has been amazing, both with our live oaks and Eagleston Holly which were doing poorly despite another service we had used before. Eli has made visits to the property to check on their progress. Very pleased. The service has been a good investment.

We would like to thank SavATree and their team of experts for assessing the recent wind damage to an old pecan tree. From the Certified Arborist to the crew, your professionalism and attention to detail was second to none. Thank you Jamie and Tree Crew: Gerardo, Victor and Lino!

Great selection, especially for garden-related items (pottery, etc.). But, the reason we still drive out from Aledo is the expertise of employees. We've learned so much just picking out plants (and what NOT to pick out!)!

I understand that there were a lot of young ones working here but not 1 employee asked if the customers needed any help while looking around. The only one with any type of customer service was the cashier. There were A LOT of EMPLOYEES everywhere, I mean like 1-2 in every area! I dont think any of them had a problem socially because they talked a lot with each other about school and the customers had to yell out to one for attention.... I just felt uncomfortable and dont see myself going back...will find another place. The other Calloways I've been to were not at all like this one, they were helpful...

Called to see if they had pink turks cap. The girl checked and said they do, so I drove up there. A masculine girl with a pony tail took me back and showed me red turks cap and pink skull something. I told her I had called about pink turks cap, and she said well we have pink skull and walked off. She was very rude. I was there 9/5 at 10am. The cashier was nice, the other employee was not, wasted my time, and was unapologetic.

Will never go to a big box garden center as long as live near Calloways! Such a broad, unique selection and for a reasonable price. Multiple sales while I was there!

Purchased a $170 7-8 foot Nordman Christmas Tree. After getting it home, I realized it was listing to one side in the stand. I attempted to correct using the stand screws, but they had clearly forced one of the screws to point of warping making the stand useless. If you go here, I would make sure the bottom of the tree is properly trimmed, and the tree properly seated prior to payment. Last year, they didn't tie the tree properly to the top of my minivan and it fell off on the freeway, on the way home. IMO, at these prices, the quality should be better.

Calloway's is a lovely place to go for creating a beautiful garden. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there is a homey, family feeling about shopping there. They have been wonderful to work with our Ryan Place Homeowners Association in our Yard of the Month Program, offering us monthly gardening tips and coupons. Thanks so much to everyone that makes Calloway's Nursery a very special place in Fort Worth.

Everything you need, and a lot you want! I needed potting soil but I wanted a lot of stuff I saw. Will power! Ehh, not so much. I ended up buying a few things that weren't on my list (and forgetting snail bait), but now I have a reason to go back to the store! Yay, me!!

I purchased some lavender plants online and 1 day later, they resold them to another customer. The store had no more to give me. I traveled very far to pick up those flowers, and the customer service was pathetic.

Awesome nursery. Very knowledgeable associates about plants trees and how to make them grow. Wife and I was very happy with the service...and military discount helps too..any business willing to help veterans is a giant plus to us...thanks

They probably have the best consumer products for landscaping/gardening at a store front that I have seen. The prices reflect it but not so much that it deters you from purchasing. Great customer service, everyone always making sure if you need help with anything.

Just got the most expensive tree I’ve ever gotten. But it is worth it! It came fully watered and wrapped in plastic and already in its tree stand. All I had to do was bring it in, unwrap it and regather! It’s a great tree and the garden center staff were especially friendly and helpful! I’ll be back!

Completed ignored. Left without the tree. Just a mess

Love this place! Although - went in to ask about Red Yuccas (didn’t know they were insanely popular) and the lady who helped me was extremely nice, but upon asking her boss about them, her boss gave a very frustrated and stern response, followed by another male coworker repeating the same thing very stern and rude to her.
It’s a shame because this place and it’s function are both beautiful. It seems like there is frustration between staff to staff and staff to manager relationships and this is quite honestly off-putting and upsetting to me as I would imagine this girl probably didn’t know and might’ve gotten her feelings hurt. I’m the naïve one that walked in, and staff shouldn’t be spoken to this way by their coworkers because of it. -
This review is focused on the convenience or lack thereof of online shopping with curbside pick-up or delivery in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was possible to purchase online and pick-up curbside, but the service seems to be a very low priority for this establishment. It was more hassle than it was worth. The plants were healthy though, once the order was finally fulfilled.
