Landscaping reviews in Fort Worth, Texas

It's all about your word and your reputation. I was scheduled for an estimate. I even called the day before to confirm and ask if they could give me a call before coming; because I'm remodeling the whole house and would be in and out. The lady said they would give me a call.

NO CALL - NO SHOW.

I know they had me in their system because the lady read me back my address. I don't won't to speculate on why they didn't come out or at least call me, but I'm a good customer whom have a lot of friends who are good customers. If you're reading this, I'm sharing that, you deserve a lot better than to be stood up on appointments.

After further review: The response the company has below is incorrect. I never received all those calls the responder said they made, and though I said that "I" would be in and out that day, there is always someone at my home. So, I don't know what house all these reps showed up to. It's not decent or appropriate to discredit a review by insinuating (lying). Smh

It was a pleasure to work with Joe and his crew. Very professional, easy to work with to execute our vision for our landscaping. Was able to work with us on budget to get the end result we wanted. We look forward to working with GroundScape again in the future.

This was our second major landscape project with Groundscape, and it was just as great an experience as the first one last spring. Joe's friendly attitude, knowledge, and willingness to spend the time needed for us nitpickers to get what we wanted resulted in beautiful front and back yards. We get lots of compliments. Groundscape's crews were cooperative and helpful in making minor tweaks as installation was being performed. They obviously took pride in their work and were exceptional in cleaning up when the work was done. We could not be more pleased and will certainly use Groundscape the next time we have a landscape project.

GroundScape Solutions did a great job on our back yard. They installed a retaining wall and paver patio. Jason and his crew were very professional and addressed any issue we had. The collaborated with us in designed idea's. The project was done in a timely manner. We will definitely work with them in the future.

Very pleased with the look of our pavestone retaining wall, and impressed with the customer service from Groundscape Solutions. Jason, the project manager, was very friendly and easy to work with. Armando takes great pride in his work, and the precision of his stone cutting and craftmanship shows years of experience. The three workers on site Armando, Francisco, and Miguel were all friendly and did a really professional job that I am proud to have at my home. There was a slight miscommunication in the overall height we were expecting the retaining wall to be, but after informing Jason of our concerns he did not hesitate to bring the crew back out to our house and rework the retaining wall to be exactly how we wanted it. The owner Joe, the manager Jason, and the skilled craftsman Armando exceeded expectations and ensured customer satisfaction. Thanks guys!

Joe and his team are Awesome! Joe has done several successful projects for us over the last 5 years with one of them being a major overhaul of our back yard landscaping. Not only Joe, but his entire team is professional, knowledgable, and polite. They always make sure you see what your getting and then follow through with every aspect of the job. Joe communicates any schedule changes well in advance and always does his best with weather delays. We have never been disappointed. I've hired this company for two projects the first was a flower bed with rocks and an additional tree put in. The second was a drainage system and landscape rocks. I added St Augustine grass it is absolutely beautiful. Joe answered all my questions and his team was very nice and professional. I would recommend this company for business :)

Joe is extremely professional, and his company did a great job pouring a large patio and curved sidewalk for us. His crew came exactly when he said they would and everyone worked very hard to finish the job. They did a great job cleaning up too. We are very pleased and I highly recommend GroundScape. Joe Armijo and his team did an excellent job for us, removing old plants from three beds, suggesting and supplying the new plants, mulch, everything. It was done in only two days. The crew was great, pleasant to work with and happy to do several things I thought of as we went along but weren't in their quote. I highly recommend them.

I asked for an estimate for some artificial turf in a part of my yard that had been completely destroyed by my dogs. I was at my wits end on how to have the dogs without having mud everywhere when it rained and have them tear up my grass. Joe have me an estimate for artificial turf and installation along with some sod. It was a little pricey, but I was out of options. They were booking six weeks out, so I made the appointment. Boy, was I glad I did! The workers completely transformed my yard from an unusable mess to one which I can use and be proud of! It was worth every penny. They completely cleaned the ild stuff ou, leveled the area, installed the new sod and artificial turf as well as fixing a drainage problem I had. It took about a week, but I am very happy with the work and their professionalism! I would recommend Groundscape Solutions for any project they can do. They are very knowledgeable and did an outstanding job from start to finish! My only regret is not taking before pictures do I could show the contrast.

I can't say enough good about the crew that came to my house to clean a nightmare flowerbed and add a stone/brick border. They left the site cleaner than they found it each day. I received compliments from the neighbors right away. The crew was very respectful while on site and the only noise they made was when they were cutting stone and brick. During breaks and lunch, it was very quiet out front. I will always go back to this Team before anyone else in the future.

Joe Armijo and his crew did a wonderful job on our complete landscape work. Our backyard has been transformed into basically a destination for us. Our new flagstone patio is extremely well done and attractive. The stone flower bed borders look fantastic and they did a great job with the grading and drainage so our yard won’t have puddles during rain storms. I can’t say enough good things about Joe and his crew. Strong recommendations!!

I’m not going to pay for an estimate.

Yup, it was explained if I hired Denmark Lawn the $75 would be “credited”. An estimate is an opportunity for a company to earn a customers business. For whatever reason if I decide to not use your services, I.e. cost, timeline, plan/execution, a customer shouldn’t be forced to pay you if not using you.

IMO it’s distasteful business practice. Have the confidence you’ll earn a customers business.

Not all reviews need to be based off of service. I was in contact with your company, was explained this estimate fee and I felt it was distasteful. This review is to help someone not make the same mistake I did by placing the call.

Very disappointed in our service. Often times they didn’t come on the day they were supposed to come and most of the time did an incomplete job. I specifically called out multiple things they failed to do and it was never fixed. I was paying a lot of money for weed control and fertilization but my yard looked worse than my neighbors who were doing nothing.
They also try to upsell you constantly. They use drought and heat damage as an excuse to sell you a chinch bug treatment, and then when you buy it they don’t even do the full job. Cancelled my service and will not be coming back.

Excellent customer service - very responsive. Automatic billing is a real plus. Kyle is very responsive to email and requests via the web for extra services. They have really helped make our lawn / landscaping look great. Highly recommend them.

Denmark’s landscape truck number 1 far exceeded expectations this week. Our lawn looks better than ever. They were perfectly professional, and I highly recommend their service.

We are exceptionally pleased with Denmark Lawn. Their work is professional and the crews are very personable. I also appreciate that the company gives back to the community.

We have a front and side yard of low maintenance with no grass, just low water use plants and decomposed granite. Weeding, pruning, cleaning, and removing leaves are needed. Denmark Lawn personnel are prompt and efficient. I highly recommend them.

The work the crew did finish was fine, and it is not that the crew did not work. However, you have to contract by the hour instead of paying an agreed upon fee for work up front. This means that a job that might take a little over an hour will cost you two hours. Unfortunately, the crew they sent came out, trimmed the bushes, and left all of the debris in the front yard because their hour was up. I’d rather know what I am going to pay up front and get the entire job done. Otherwise, it just feels like you are trying to buy a used car.
