I contacted this company to see what could be done about a circuit panel that appeared to be overloaded in a new home I purchased and wanted to see about having a larger electrical panel installed. Billy answered my call and was EXTREMELY helpful. He talked me through all of my questions and assured me that the condition that my panel was in was completely normal. I wanted to add another 220 breaker to my panel for my compressor, and he assured me that because of intermittent loading it would be fine to do so. He effectively talked himself out of a job, but boy, was I thankful for his wisdom. It is hard to find this kind of service these days... I didn’t have him do any work, but I assure you, based on my conversation, Billy runs a great shop, and cares about much more than making a quick buck. Thanks Billy!

The RES team took care of our issue quickly with great results. The crew kept us informed and completed the work quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend them.

If I could give RES more than five stars, I definitely would! Honesty goes a long way with me. Billy and Santos figured out the problem and fixed it. Very quick to respond and followed through. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future!

Agree with all the other 5 star reviews. Called to request a service and he made a recommendation to another company because the type of service I need (very unique), he doesn't have the equipment to do the most thorough job on so he referred me to a company that specializes in my need! AMAZING. He could have easily come out and completed an inspection and fooled me completely. HOW would I have ever known that I needed someone else? I will definitely use him for ALL my other electrical needs. Billy sounds like a real STAND up guy!! :)

Not at all surprised these guys have a perfect rating. They're pros, from start to finish. I had the job I wanted thought out, and they actually recommended an alternative that saved me money! Who does that nowadays?! Had them out for 2 jobs, and I intend to have them out for all electrical work in the future. I wrote this review completely voluntarily (they didn't ask me to, didn't provide any discounts for doing so, etc.).

I just wanted to thank Billy for his help and honesty. I had a busted landscape light, and Billy told me that I would be better off calling a landscaping company, and even recommended the one that was able to come out and help me with my issue the next day. I will be calling RES next time I have an indoor electrical issue and I'll be recommending him to others!

RES's professionalism, knowledge, and integrity is second to none. They recently completed two jobs at my house. They were courteous and went out of their way to ensure my wife and I understood our options.

Additionally, when most companies shy away from pulling permits and having their work inspected, RES did the opposite. This provides great peace of mind for my family and I.

The day I could re-enter my home after it was flooded by Hurricane Harvey, I tried calling several electricians to find someone who could help me safely turn back on the breaker of my home. Billy not only answered the phone, but stayed on the line with me and patiently talked me through the process. I knew when the time came for electrical work to be done in our rebuild that I wanted to use Residential Electrical Services. They came out last week to repair some things damaged by a former contractor & were just as easy/pleasant as Billy had been over the phone in August. Thank you for the excellent work & fair price!

I found myself with a relatively minor, but very frustrating electrical situation while remodeling a house. I called RES over the weekend and was able to make an appointment for Monday, at which point the problem was fixed completely and promptly. Customer service and scheduling was excellent, the technician was effective, and pricing was very reasonable. I would use again and highly recommend.

Great service from a very experienced and professional group. Billy virtually diagnosed the problem during our first conversation. Every step in the repair was clearly communicated. I would not hesitate to use RES again or recommend them to others.

I called Billy at Residential Electric Services (RES) about replacing an old ballast for my fluorescent light fixture with a new and more energy efficient ballast. The problem I ran into was going from 8 wires down to 5. I drew a schematic of how I thought the wiring should look with the new ballast. Even with the help of YouTube videos, I wasn't 100% convinced I had it right. Billy asked me to text him photos of my fluorescent light fixture with the old ballast plus my schematic. Shortly afterwards he called me back and walked my through exactly how the wiring should be set up. I did as he instructed and it worked like a charm. That is what I call excellent customer service. I was more than willing to have someone from his staff come out to the house to swap out the ballast. In the future, if I run into an electrical issue I can't handle, my first call will be RES.

I cannot say enough good things about Billy and his crew at RES. The light fixtures in my Master Bathroom went out and I was not able to troubleshoot the issue on my own. Contacted Billy and he showed up the next day, ahead of schedule. He promptly diagnosed and corrected the issue, and took the time to explain everything to me along the way. Billy, and his assistant Josh, were both very knowledgeable and courteous. I will definitely be using them again for any electrical needs.

I would first like to thank everyone for the reviews they took time to write about this family owned business. We had a breaker box and panel replaced recently. I am happy to join you all in this long list of happy, relieved, and loyal customers. They did the same exact thing for less than half of the bigger companies. They were fast, efficient, and clean. Highly recommend!

RES did a great job doing our electrical work. At first the job was not performed to our total satisfaction. When we asked them to alter the project to our specifications, they did it without any extra charge or hassle. This is a VERY well run family business that prioritizes customer satisfaction. I will definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommend RES!!

I contacted RES for a 2nd opinion. Another electrician came to check an outlet that sparked when a laptop was plugged in. He tightened the lose wire, then strongly recommended I replace all the outlets in the house and the breaker box. I called RES and was immediately impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness. Billy checked the outlet and suggested using a surge protector. He looked through the house, and the outlets and breaker box are fine. I was very impressed. I will definitely use RES for any electrical needs. It is refreshing to find a service professional with integrity.

RES came through in the midst of my mother in laws funeral arrangements. They fit us in on short notice and did their usual excellent, professional job.

I had an excellent service experience with RES. Josh, the electrician sent to my home, arrived ten minutes early, he wasted no time while on the job and demonstrated a high level of competence tracking down and correcting the fault in my wiring, which was no where near the inoperable wall outlet in my bathroom. All of my outlets are once again functional. If I ever need electrical work done in the future RES will be my first call. Thanks again!

We are very pleased with RES electricians. Billy, the owner made an initial visit to our house in order to determine the scope of our needs and to explain various options for the repairs and work that we were requesting. He is very thorough and patient and sent us an estimate of cost within a few days. The electricians, scheduled to do the work were on time, very knowledgeable, professional and performed the repairs and installation in an orderly manner, letting us know what they would be working on. We are very pleased with the work that they did for us. They are our "go to" electricians! We recommend them to everyone! Great team!
